  1. My Large size diapers got wet in Hurricane Irene and I just got them dry. Now I need something to keep them from getting wet in Hurrican Katia. You better hurry!!!
  2. I would like some large ones because, well. I'm broke and can't afford them.
  3. One question I would ask is, how long was that sanitizer sitting there. Had it been there for more 4 hours? It's just like leaving a piece of meat out for four hours, it will become contaminated. Also was the ph tested in the water to see if it was actually mixed properly. I also question the use of a towel that awas left sitting in the water, using single use paper towels is much more sanitary. And I know it's not the GREEN way of doing things. I wouldn't let it discourage you too much though. As disgusting as it may have been, if you ever intend to eat at any restaurant you better get use to the idea that something unsanitary has been done with your food. Most likely it wasn't intentional but if you've ever worked in a restaurant then you know just how busy and hectic it can get. I too am a "clean as you go" person but mistakes can happen and you take a risk everytime you eat something anyways. I do agree with Square_duck. People these days are too afraid of germs. I'm pretty sure exposure to them builds up our immune systems. You do have a valid point though, what he did was disgusting and I would have done the same thing. Not really because of the germs but more for the fact that I wouldn't want to eat a soggy sandwich. On a similar note, I once went to Popeyes and had the "MANAGER!" use a rag out of a mop bucket to clean up a spill and then proceed to make my food without washing his hands or putting on gloves. Make the call, they'll probably offer you some free coupons and the guy will be reprimanded. But I wouldn't expect much more than that.
  4. If I can talk Mommy into it I would love to come.

    Down There!

I call mine The Truth because the truth hurts. HAHA JK!!!
  6. I would love to come but I would need plenty of prior notice. My schedule on the weekends is very hard to get around but with enough notice I may be able to get there. WIth working every saturday at 5am and having band practice after that until around midnight this baby is stretched pretty thin. A weekend away would be awesome to be honest.
  7. Money's a little tight right now so I'm gonna have to pass on that one.
  8. So how did it go? Any chance of a munch in March?
  9. Awesome thanks for the link. I really wish we could make it tonight I really would love to meet some of you and this is about as close to home as I've seen. I noticed someone had posted about a munch in Lancaster but I have yet to find any info on that. Well, keep us updated and I'll definately keep checking back.
  10. Oh crap!!! I was just reminded by Mommy of a former engagement next saturday. I am helping out with the blue and gold banquet for the boy scouts and I can't really blow that one off. I am still interested so perhaps next month if possible.
  11. Really the reason I kinda gave up on this was because people seemed to lose interest when I suggested having a meet and greet first. Having an actual party would require a lot more planning. I was actually hoping to get an idea who would be willing to show up. And also, I don't want to hear any complaints about it not happening. At least I took some time to try to get the ball rolling. Anyone who had a problem with it not happening could have just as easily took it upon themselves to do it.
  12. Mommy and I will try to make it depending on the weather and finances. It does sound like a great time. Are the motels or someplace to stay in the area? Looking for a nice place but not too high priced preferably if you have any suggestions. Being in a bar I would most likely be loosening up with a couple drinks and I'm sure mommy will too. And that would be a really long drive home. Any recommendations would be great.
  13. Jeffy if you could offer a place for a party that would be great. That has been my biggest problem with this as I do not currently have the funds to put up front to rent a venue. Please let me know if you are still interested in doing so. I definately believe there would be an interest.
  14. Oops sorry that was meant for PArms
  15. To answer your question Sophie, I would definately like to have a party but I think it would be nice to get together and do the meet and greet thing beforehand. One of the reasons being it would help people relax when we do have a party. As you said yourself you are shy and I'm pretty sure you're not the only one who will be nervous in this situation. I just feel that this would give us a better chance to get to know each other. Also keep in mind the type of planning involved in a party. Things like location and such. I just figured we could start off with something a little more casual and work are way up to a full fledged baby blowout. Hehe. If anyone has a good idea for a location for an actual party I am definately listening.
  16. Ok I am looking for input. Best day, best time. I was considering something like Hoss's but a pizza place might work as well depending on the number of people we have coming and what time or day of the week. And keep in mind this would be a public event so keep it tasteful. Meaning don't come decked out in your baby gear. Of course if you have a diaper on under your regular clothes who's gonna know. Well, let me know what you guys think I would definately like to get this rolling.
  17. Ok guys I just had a though. How about if we start off with a munch at a local restaurant or something? It would be a great way for all of us to get together and maybe we could make some plans for a party. Also I would think a party would go better if we got to know each other a little better first. We could even make the munch a regular thing if enough people are interested.
  18. oh and start thinking about a good day that would seem like our biggest question so far. just to give me an idea.
  19. sorry for not posting for a few days but i just had hernia surgery on friday. i am off work for the next 8 weeks though so i will see what i can do about working some stuff out. i can't even sit down yet so it may be a few days before i can work on anyhing. and don't worry i like beer too hehe. talk to you guys soon.
  20. Everyone from the community would be invited. Whether you are AB or DL or both. As far as what goes on. It would be like any other party really although we may include some fun games and such. This is all still tentative but if we can get enough replies from interested people I will see what I can do to make it happen.
  21. I'm thinking about having an AB party near Harrisburg and I was wondering if anyone would actually attend. I'm sure it would require a lot of time and effort but I am willing to give it a go if enough are interested. I figured Harrisburg would be a good area since it is pretty central to all of PA. It is only a few hours drive from both Philly and Pitt. We may even get some folks from the Baltimore area who are interested. I spent a few years working as a caterer so getting a decent party together isn't beyond abilities. I also don't mind breaking out the grill and BBQing some grub for everyone. I've been in food service for about 25yrs so I think I can handle it. Anyways, Let me know maybe we can set something up for the spring or summer this year. Also it would probably require some kind of donation on everyones part to be able to pay for food and a place to have the party so keep that in mind as well.
