I have mixed feelings about this... Surely the girl was just trying to be friendly to you? I have never had a girl come up to me and ask me something about what I was doing, I imagine it would be a nice feeling. I guess if you were trying to concentrate though, it could have been a distraction! I hope you were not too rude!

It doesn't surprise me that AB/DLs might have an interest in technical computer aspect. I myself am a third year graduate student studying computer science. I have just finished a module on Artifical Intelligence and Neural Networks. Very interesting indeed! As for the PS3, there is no doubt it is an amazing system. The CELL chip is a wonderful piece of processing architecture, however in terms of raw speed the XBOX 360 should theoretically "kick its ass with instructions per second". I tried out a Wii the other day... Played some golfing game on it, pretty fun, you feel like a bit of a prat at first though, practicing your golfing swing using a remote control. LOL

My take on it is to do with the social conditioning, similar to what Morv said. However, when you dig deeper, it isnt just diaper's which are taboo, it is almost any 'alternative' expression of being different which gets demonized. Has anyone ever heard of David Icke? A truely excellent author, talks about the Illuminati conspiracy, etc. Well, his take on social conditioning is so spot on. In order to control the sheep herd, you need very strict rules of what is considered: Sane and Insane Possible and Impossible Moral and Immoral If anyone goes against these social norms, then they are jumped upon by the rest of the sheep who are happy to be conditioned. We are all very unique people, every single human has a different take on life. Sometimes we find people with similar interests and desires, which just goes to show, with the diaper thing, how 'insane' it is. There are hundreds of users posting on this forum... I guess we should all be carted off to the nut house! Hmmmm, padded walls

Hello all, I registered today after spending a few days 'trolling' around on here! :-) It has been a hard decision registering on here, and 'reaching out' for people in the community, as most of the time I feel depressed and guilty over my diaper cravings... So many wasted years throughout my teenage years to fight this, thinking I was ill, etc... Finding the AB/DL community has certainly put some perspective on this! LOL! I still feel odd from time to time, and feelings of guilt till surface everynow and then. I don't think it helps that I suffer from acute social anxiety. Shy isnt a strong enough term in my opinion. But I guess with the Internet and a forum like this there is a degree of privacy and security, and maybe soon I will be able to truely accept me. Posting here might be the first step. It is very encouraging to see so many people without these feelings of guilt. Maybe I should just learn to accept who I am! (after all, trying to change this thing about me for so long was like swimming upstream, an impossible task). I look forward to meeting new people here! -Andy
