My question is: why do people feel that they need to share this type of activity with others who most likely would not understand the appeal of it? The majority of people don't think about diapers on a regular basis, and when they do, they associate them with babies or special needs. I would NEVER want to tell anyone--especially people who are close to me--about my little "fetish." It would not go well, for sure. It is like a sacred religion that I choose to keep to myself.
Most of the reason for secrecy is that I work with young children (in an all-girl setting), and my "hobby" would most likely be misunderstood. It bears repeating as many times as it takes to get the point across, if someone does not share your passion for wearing/using diapers, then they probably won't be accepting of it at all. Even if they act as though they do, deep down inside, they don't.
