  1. Apparently rubber panties have quite a following. Look at the year on some of these ads. Just WHAT is up with THAT?!?. I wonder how many Pinterest boards there are featuring them. At this level of detail of time and kind, it could qualify as a Rabbit Hole or Echo Chamber. Could it be that we were traumatized and scarred for life? Where is the nearest personal injury mental health lawyer? You have no idea of the recurring dream I have where I am being chased across the baby deparment of Wal-Mart by a heaving, seething mass of rubber panties singing SHE LOVES US YEAH YEAH https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=playtex+happy+pants&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p3519243.m570.l1313
  2. If you want to talk about rabbit holes, look at the year on some of these ads. Just what would possess an individual to keep or get material THAT OLD on such a niche subject? https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=playtex+happy+pants&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p3519243.m570.l1313
  3. Peter Pan appears to be 18th Century. When was Pinoccio written? seems like the 19th. Also Pinocchio was Italian, Peter Pan seems Bristish
  4. Thank you. Freta. We are both part of the "Golden Age" or rubber panties. Do you have any idea of what was put on you as a baby/little? Since I asked the question, I should ansower. I use less technically correct terminology, but more culturally correct so I call them all, as most persosn have over time, "rubber panties", inn the same way that any cola drink is a 'coke" or small, portable tissue is a kleenex". I remember having both rubber and plastic put on me as a toddler, probably under 3 y//o, and as a little on occasions between 6-3/4 and almost 10 as a little girl. An all cases they were of smooth material. So I was in them between 1948 and 55. To my knowledge, the grainy material started showing up in 1954 and the "rhumba panties" in 1957, and were usually lined with grainy material. I thought that the grainy material was trying not to be rubber panties and that the rhumba panties were simply something else lined with rubber, sort of as an afterthought. They came out with the ""Fancy Pants". Also, I have no idea of how anyone in my age group can even abide paper diapers, which unitl the late 1970's were all called "pampers". I thought of the ordinary rubber panties as mostly for girls since, between 4 and 8 they were put on girls muc h more than boys for reasons having to do with being girls and the material was smooth, therefore feminine. The appearance was full since diapers were thick. Another thing was that girls had infant dolls in diapers and rubber panties. If a little girl got a pair of "real [meaning full-size]" rubber panties to put in her "dolly [acccessories] box" that made her feel specially. In fact, the semi-transparent ecru panties i remember being put on me as a toddlear, and later, on my sister when I was 4,I last saw when I was 10 in one of my cousins' dolly box. The sound is classic ASMR. Rubber panties had many feelings attached to them, mostly as a little girl afreaid that they would show and someone would want to feel them
  5. This asks two questions How so? And just what does that mean in practice; does it mean you want to feel them?
  6. What did yo want from Sandra Clause (At RUFFLES & RIBBONS GIRLS' HOME, It is the Faries' "Mistress Winter"), and what did she bring you I really have all the LG things I can managte with 10 wonderful, living dollies, 30 or so outfits and babydolls and over 1-1/2 dozen tiaras not to metnion all the unmentionables that I would rather not talk about. What more could a Little Girl want
  7. Cost varies by location. Also, per unit cost varies. Example: the cost is 20 cents/kwh to operate the machine. That is fixted but the per unit cost is different if you wash 4, 5 or 10 diapers. In this case it becomes 5,4 and 2 cents each. The same is true for the other resources though they are not fixed. The difference in detergent and water is not proportional, you will not use twice the resources to wash 8 as to wash 4, maybe only a half more, which means if it takes 40 cents of supplies to wash 4, It would take 60 cents to wash 8 and maybe 75 to do a dozen rather than $1.20. That is called "economies of scahle". I got my wahser at Sears Outlet in '16 and my drier at American Freight in about '21. I "over bought" because I could get some really big items for under $650 total (It cost me $200 to install the vent pipe for the gas drier). I can do my ordiary laundry once a month. My 7.5 cu/ft drier came from American Frieght which took over sears outlet and maintains those appliances
  8. This is a collection of apps and learing materials. I had originally put it in Adult Kids. I decided to put it here to expose it to those who do this regularly to see how it stands up, and for persons who are considering taking up the practice by do not wish to get inovloved with paid programs at this stage This touches on the major phases of art !. draw and paint. Both "rester" and SVG. Including layers, blending and gradients. Even how one of these apps was used to do a digital duplicate of a Bob Ross painting 2. image and photo editing; three apps 3. learning materials: RGB vs CMYK and why as well as Pantone, with an intro to the latter 4. Expand & Grow: Get more, including fonts that tend toward the pretty, cute and whimsical, color search (RGB), paints (including transparency): Even CAD In short, all you would need for a good start or to stengthen what you have It is free material. The downloads are devoid of crapware and the standalone are from my personal stock that I have used for years for AniGifs and image mapping to graphic links as well as the venerable mspaint from WinXP I have used some of thies to create RUFFLES & RIBBONS GIRLS' HOME, the graphics of which has drawn several compliments from my DNS company; one lady said it was "pretty" and a fellow said it "looks good", though now, it needs work
  9. One of the rooms where I grew up, as in many older houses with upstairs chldrens' rooms, smelled like pee that had dried, when I was little there was also the smell of a rubber sheet that had been my blankie when I was 4 and 5. Also, when I stayed overnight at Anne and Linda's from age 6 to a bit before I turned 10, their room also smelled like that. Linda was a bedwetter and I was put in diapers for the night since you had to go outside to get to the bathroom and Linda and I slept right on the rubber sheet while Anne slept in a separate bed. That did all kinds of things to me feelings as a little girl
  10. You mean persons over 21 still do that. The only resolution I ever kept was the last one I made: Not to make new your's reslutions. I wised up to the fact that it is a scam that does not work when I was 21. Now I do not waste my time, energy or brainpower on it
  11. All I am in is one of the versions of the "Damoiselle" BabyDoll diapers. Ordinarily I am in the La Petite Damoiselle, which is a 10 to 15 hour diaper. If I will be in the same diaper for 10 or less, it is a La Bebe Damoiselle. If I know I will be in the same diaper for more than 14 hours it is the La Damoiselle, which is 14 to 20 and has gone for 25 hours. They are all versions of the same one. The La Petite Damoiselle is the La Bebe Damoiselle with afull lenght insert and the La Damoiselle is to La Bebe Damoiselle
  12. I had that situation tiwce in the nineties. One was all in one building with 67 apts. I was able to have the laundry room all to myself in the late hours at night. The other was a complex with an under-equipped laundry room in the admin building. The problem was that it closed at 4 PM and opened between 8 and 9 AM, Nobody notices what I was washing. Since most cloth diapers are just rectagnles or squares of white material, the only persons anything might occur to are those familiar with diapers so the odds are good that nobody will notice and what they do not know will not hurt you. That will, of course, depend on how intimate the sharing of the facilities are. if it is something like 2 of each for 10 apts or less, then that could change. The fewer apts covered by the particular laundry, the more intimate the relationships among the users. At the usual level of 1 laundry room for the while group, people just go about their business with their eyes to themselves and their motus shut, but you may get one or two busybodies
  13. Mountain View (plastic-patns.com) sell Divet covers in plastic that are custom made by Gary, they are expensive and take a long time to come in. The zip up and come in the usual Gary plastics (fristed clear, bears, etc). They are the only ones that I have found, having looked on Ebay. One would think that given the ongoing bedbug pandemic these would be commonplace. It wass plastic and rubber bed covers like spreads that helped put the finishing touches on the origienal bedbug/lice problems that finally ended in the 1950;s/60's, being non-woven "film" material and plastic being non-biological material. Maybe some of you remember the plastic chair and other furniture covers of that time
  14. It also pays to make your own. you can save a bundle and have them as you like them. All I need to do is create the BabyDoll baby powder. For that I need an inexpensive large supply of cornstarge and arrowroot and the dispenser and the diaper change kit, and it will be "BabyDoll: From bathe to diaper: The best a girl can get"
  15. Thanks, I was quite worried
