  1. I do all except #4. What do you mean "cloth pull-up"? Have a product link? I've tried cloth. It's not absorbent enough. Not unless I wear extremely massive, to where I can't even close my legs, which isn't exactly comfortable. One of the main issues I have with plastic pants, is that once the urine encounters the elastic band, it soaks into the band, and then wicks into the bed. Anything lined seems like it would exacerbate this, as it would soak along until it reaches the elastic band. Or do you have a product that avoids this?
  2. So I tend to sleep on my side. This can cause problems as diapers don't have any absorbent material in the wings. So often times I'll leak. There can be a few reasons for this. Sometimes due to my position, the diaper doesn't press against me well enough, and a small path will be created for the pee to escape (I really have no idea how this happens, as it doesn't feel like there's any gaps, but it still finds a way...). Or sometimes it'll all accumulate to one side and the diaper just gets saturated on that side and can't hold any more or presses out. I've tried a few things. I've tried putting incontinence pads in the wings, but those don't always work as their capacity is limited and it can't wick to the rest of the diaper. Or sometimes they still don't manage to be in the right spot and the pee finds a path around. I've tried plastic pants, but they just don't capture well when laying down. Cloth works somewhat, but the capacity is limited, and if the waist band gets too close to the plastic pants over it, it'll wick through. My best solution so far is to just wear extremely thick disposables (boosters plus pads in the wings), and a latex diaper cover to keep the diaper pressed against me as much as possible. That works most of the time, but there's still the occasional leak. Plus it's a bit of a pain and a waste of diaper/booster/pads. What would be best I think is if there were a diaper that had the absorbent material extend into the wings, but I've never seen such a diaper. How do other people deal with this?
  3. Sounds plausible. I've never done anything (including bowel movement) to make it go away, or noticed anything unusual. But could just be things internally rearranging on their own I guess. Appreciate the insight. I have nothing against the doctor. Not embarrassed about it or anything. Just never remember it when visiting the general practitioner, and haven't been concerned about it to warrant a trip all on its own. But I'll try to keep it in mind for the next time.
  4. What gives you the idea I think that? I already answered this: "Anyway, it's not really a big concern, so I'm not going to go see a doctor over it". I've stated my reasons, and I'm not going to repeat myself. So please tone down the dramatics. I'm asking on an incontinence forum if anyone has had experience with this form of incontinence. Edit: Just FYI, I won't entertain any more attacks. You're welcome to your opinion, but if you comment, you will be ignored.
  5. No, this isn't a desire, asking how I can deliberately cause it, but something I experience every now and then, that google doesn't really produce any results on. Basically every now and then, maybe once a year or so, I'll get extreme urge incontinence. I've had a UTI before, so it's similar to that. Basically the the feeling like you need to pee extremely bad, to the point of it being really uncomfortable, but only a few drops come out, and the sensation not going away. However unlike a UTI, there's no fever or anything, and it's really short term. Like yesterday it happened, and only lasted for maybe 6 hours. Started pretty mild to where it wasn't uncomfortable at all, just a frequent need to go but very little coming out. But towards the end got really intense, then tapered off again and went away. Other times I've had it last for a day, Maybe 2 days once or twice (been a while so can't recall). But again it starts mild, gets intense for a little bit, then tapers off and goes away. I am DL, which is convenient when this happens. However I've had it happen when I haven't worn for a while, so it's not related. Anyway, it's not really a big concern, so I'm not going to go see a doctor over it, and forget to mention it when I am seeing a doctor for other stuff. I'm just curious. So I figure maybe someone else has experience and knows what's going on.
  6. Also looking for other diaper boys in ft Lauderdale

  7. They're just reselling the Incontrol product. Look at the pictures they provide. It has the Incontrol logo on it.
  8. So back before Incontrol/Rearz was known as AC Medical, they had a bunch of different styles for their latex diaper covers. Meaning different cuts/shapes/whatever. It seems now they've scaled back to only a single style (https://incontroldiapers.com/transparent-seamless-latex-brief/). Unfortunately this style is really narrow between the legs. Meaning that with a diaper on, I end up with a huge gap in between the latex and the leg, completely defeating the point of the cover (to catch leaks). Does anyone know of any alternatives sold elsewhere that aren't horribly over priced?
  9. In addition to correct sizing (don't go too big), the other thing I find is to adjust the diaper slightly more towards the front or back. On various brands I've tried over the years, I've found that usually if I shift the diaper slightly forward, so that the when worn, it's a little higher in the front, and the tapes are a little lower, that this helps. I'm not talking much mind you. Maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
  10. You use a "pusher". Typically just another catheter. Not really possible. It opens and closes via magnetism. The "wireless" controller device has to physically be held up against your skin (or close to it).
  11. That looks really interesting. But no, you won't be able to buy it anywhere. It's in clinical trials. Best to just keep an eye on it and wait til the trial is over. Looks like they estimate January 2022.
  12. Another thing to note is that the distribution is largely influenced by how much you release each time. For example, when using catheters/stents, I can easily saturate an entire high-capacity diaper (of pretty much any brand) which would normally have started leaking much earlier.
  13. Aside from diapers that are obviously the wrong size, probably the worst is the Abena M4. I just can't get it to fit well around the legs. The moment it gets wet enough to where the middle doesn't have instant absorption, it starts leaking. Leaving it like 80% unused.
  14. Seems old Tena diapers are commonly missed. I myself am one of them. Though I'm not familiar with the ones nappy_dan posted. The ones I liked were the ones discontinued a few years ago. The ones before "Active Fit" and "Ultima" came out. I liked them as they had a very good fit on me, and practically never leaked. They could be reinforced with transparent packing tape (and it would stick), which was extremely useful as being active and moving around a lot really stresses diaper tapes. And then lastly they were thin and discrete when dry, but bulked up when wet. I actually bought a ton when I found they were discontinued (probably had around 25 bags), but am down to only a couple bags, and have started using them sparingly.
  15. Trunks. They're like a shorter version of boxer-briefs for anyone not familiar with the style. Specifically I wear ones that are meant to raise and accentuate the manly parts. Although not for that reason. I ride horses, and so it helps to avoid smashing them against the saddle.
