The discussion - this passed me by very briefly back in 81 or whenever it was. Not the Nine O Clock News was a topical comedy show that launched the careers of Stephenson, as well as Rowan Atkinson, Griff Rhys-Jones and Mel Smith, and it was mostly very funny.
