Natalie's bad day turned worse....

"Mommy I'm big girl and I gotta say I don't need these silly pull-ups or paci or bbbb.....ugh...." Natalie says as her big girl brain starts slipping again and her pullup starts to feel heavy. Suddenly she looks surprised "Mommy! potty!"

Linda nodded as Natalie started to go off on her and it was like the fire went away and there was nothing left in it's place. "Looks like you have already gone in your pullup. Maybe you should have gone potty first. Then come talk to me. Oh well. Let's get you cleaned up. How is your picture coming?"

Natalie sniffles and squats to finish going in her her pull-ups at mommy's comment. "I uh picture is pretty I gotta finish it mommy. I'll be back when I get it done." Natalie says trying get her big girl brain working again but also being embarrassed that she just loaded her pull-ups.

"Ok have fun. I'll be in later to check on you." Linda unpauses her meeting and continues it.

Natalie waddles back to her room and is really struggling with what to do or what to think. She feels her pullup being weighed down by both number 1 and number 2 but half of her brain so no worries and the other half wants to cry that this is happening.

Linda came in after her meeting was over. "PU. someone let a skunk loose in here, I think someone needs a change." She held her hand out to Natalie. "Would you like to take a bubble bath or wait until closer to bedtime?

Natalie was still mid struggle but nods and meekly says "bubbles mommy. Sorry I poopy." She has tears in her eyes as she puts her pacifier back in her mouth against what her big girl brain says to do.

Linda nods. "That is ok sweetie. You are still learning how to recognize your body's signals when you need to go potty. You will get there." She smiles. "Ok. I'll go run your bath. If you see a bath run by here. I'll be right behind it trying to catch it."

Natalie giggles and nods before toddling after mommy with her pullup weighing her down. Natalie did try to walk normal but compromised with her baby brain so she didn't end up crawling to the bath room.

Linda went to the bathroom and started to run a bath for Natalie. She put some strawberry scented bubble bath in the water. Linda puts some bath toys in the water and then stripped Natalie of her pullup and T shirt. She places Natalie in the water and sets down on the toilet seat to watch Natalie as she played in the water.

Natalie felt silly she's 12... or at least she thinks so, but anyway bubbles are always fun especially with her bath toys! She had forgot how much fun her rubber duckies were! She played for a while until her thumb ended up.in her mouth the bath had relaxed her so much she was kinda tired.

Linda noticed Natalie's soapy thumb in her mouth. She took it out and cleaned the bubble bath out of her mouth. Then put her pacifier in her mouth instead. Linda washed her and then dried her off. She carried Natalie to her bedroom and laid her on the bed. Linda came back a little bit later with a stack of cloth diapers and pink plastic pants. She folded the diapers up and put them under Natalie's bottom. Linda pinned the diapers shut and put the plastic pants on her. "There you go sweetie. Ready for her afternoon nap."

"But momma me big no need diapies." The sleepy 12 year old whined from behind her pacifier feeling the thick cloth diapers under her bum.

"I disagree sweetie. You have wet your panties at school, wet three pullups since then. It seems to me. That maybe you aren't ready to be out of diapers. We will give potty training another shot later. Maybe by then your body will be mature enough to use the potty like a big girl."

Natalie starts to throw a fit. "Mommy I'm 12! Not a baby I wont wear diapers! Whaaaa!" Natalie cries out tears in her eyes throwing her fit

Linda gets a stern look on her face. "Then act like it. 12 year olds don't wet their pants at school. They go to the bathroom and use the toilet. 12 year olds don't use a pacifier to calm themselves down and 12 year olds don't wear and use pullups. They also don't have tantrums like a 2 year old." Her expression softens. "Until you can prove to me you are 12. Then I am going to treat you the way you are acting and that is like a 2 year old."

"No mommy I'll be a big girl i promise! Whaaaaa!" Natalie cries more now just a sobbing mess wanting her pacifier but also wanting to be a big girl. Her tantrum stops and she just cries to her mommy.

Linda nods. "Ok sweetie." She sighs. "Well that didn't last long. 3 minutes." Linda picked up Natalie's pacifier and put it into her mouth. "Nope, she isn't ready yet and may never be. Which is fine with me."

Natalie sucks her pacifier calming down the puts her arms up for her mommy to pick her up. Her big girl brain was worn out from the fight and let the little girl brain take over for now, they both wanted mommy.

Linda picked Natalie up and puts her on her hip. She carries Natalie to her office and puts her down in the playpen. "Set here and play. Mommy has some work to do." Linda sets down at her computer and starts to look for everything she is going to need for Natalie being a toddler again in teenager size.

Natalie takes some blocks and starts building a few little towers them knocking it down with a stuffed bunny. She really wanted to cuddle with mommy and after a while she cuddles up with stuffed bunny and dozes off nursing her pacifier.

Linda heard roaring and then blocks falling. She turned around to see what you was doing and saw the bunny knocking down the tower. "Attack of the 50 ft bunny." Linda chuckles to herself and goes back to online looking. After a while. Natalie got quiet. Linda saw Natalie was napping again. She took a small blanket off her chair and put it over Natalie's body.

Natalie dreams she's floating down a river the sun shining on her face and even though the water splashes her she still feels peaceful as she starts nursing on her pacifier. She hears the nurse and mommy both telling her "be happy be calm be little".

Linda left the room quietly to get herself a cup of coffee and to use the bathroom while Natalie was napping.

(What nurse? Is there a nurse in her dream?"

Natalie woke up feeling refreshed from her nap sits up and for the first time since this morning her big girl brain is front and center. She takes a few deep breaths and tries to think what happened today.
