Amara looked at Papa's frowned faces as he inspected the book. She bit her lip thinking ,maybe papa doesn't like ponies, until he smiled. She giggled."Papa I thought you didn't like my book." She snuggled into Papa's lap and smiled as he started the story. Papa was a professional story teller. He took his time letting her see and touch all the pictures. She giggled as papa even did different voices for each character.

Amara was enthralled by the story from beginning to end and when papa finished the book she bounced on his lap. "Another one, another one! This time papa pick." Amara hopped off papa lap and pulled at his hand trying to help her big papa from the chair so they could pick another book.

It was then she heard the familiar ring of her cellphone echoing down the hall from the big girl room she had stayed in until her room was ready. Amara didn't talk to many people and assumed it was probably her job or the college about her withdrawal. Amara wanted more stories not big girl talks. She pouted and looked up at papa. "Do I have to talk?"
