Stress incontinence feels different than I expected

I just passed my first full year in diapers. I am experiencing stress incontinence during coughing or sneezing. It's not every time but as a general rule, if I have peed within the last 10 minutes (more often than not), I will leak during the cough. 

Going into this, I expected it to just be a gentle, leaking of urine. Instead, it feels like the entire area between the bottom of my penis and my butt tightens up for a second and than it just gives up. It's not bad, just different than what I expected it to be
