CUTE LITTLE KOKIRI GIRL: CAREBEARS

YOUTH LOCKED

Part one.

Samantha, or Sam for short, sighed as she walked to her new school, clenching the strap of her bookbag tightly as she made her way across the sidewalk. Which took a bit longer for her than it normally would for a fifteen-year-old due to her special condition that she had dealt with for the past few years. It was something that she had grown to accept as a part of her life, though that didn’t mean that she didn’t struggle sometimes.

If you looked at the teenager heading to her first class period of the day you would probably be confused as to why she was at a high school and not at a middle school. The teen suffered from something called ‘Youth Lock’, or simply going by YL for short, meaning that her appearance was locked to a younger age than she was. So she may have been a teenager but she looked like she was around nine or ten years old. Instead of worrying about what makeup and outfit she was going to be wearing to class that day, she was going over her list of things to say to people if they asked if she was lost. She had her class ID with her that had her age on it for proof of who she was, a few standard things to say to new people who met her and thought she was lost, and a bag of gummy worms in case she needed an energy boost through the day.

As for her outfit, she decided to try and dress as maturely as she could for the day, and when her clothing options consisted of what was in the kid section at Walmart she didn’t exactly look like she was getting ready for a hot date. A plain pink shirt, a pair of blue jeans, and sneakers that were double-knotted to prevent any tripping accidents, trying to do damage control before it happened. If she could spare herself from any embarrassing situation and not draw any unwanted attention then she would take it, and falling from dangling shoelaces would bring unwanted attention.

But as she got to the giant wooden door separating her from her new peers, Sam took a deep breath and pushed on the door. Instantly hit with the cool AC pumping frost air, the roar of all the students talking, and the smell of teenagers who had yet to discover deodorant. But no one froze and stared at her when she entered the building so that was a good start. But she knew it wouldn’t last long.

The little teen rushed to her class, rushing past all of the teens that littered the hallway, not stopping at any of the bright red lockers as she had permission to keep her backpack with her at all times as it had a few things that she might need throughout the day, minus the gummy worms but those were in a small pocket that was on the top of her bag. The perfect place to sneak a couple of the sweet treats during class. Though it was always a gamble to try and grab them when you sat in the front seat. And due to her size, she was no doubt going to be placed there so she could see the professor and not the back of some random teenager.

But as she hurried down the hall, her new sneakers making a high-pitched squeak squeak as they rubbed against the floor, she heard some of the chatter die down replaced by whispers. Sam didn’t need to know to hear the whispers to know what they were talking about, and it fueled her feet to move faster as her cheeks tinted red. But thankfully no one stopped her in the hall and she was able to get into the classroom.

And there the classroom that was filled with teens getting ready for their first class paused as they saw a little kid in the doorway.

“Uh…” Sam let out, her grip tightening on the black shoulder strap of her backpack, her entire face feeling like it was getting ready to burst into flames, and quickly got to the first empty seat that she could find. Which was in the front row, apparently everyone was trying to avoid the front row, where she knew she would end up anyways. So going there at that moment skipped the middle man. She sat her bag beside the chair and climbed up onto the hard cool blue plastic seat. As she sat her feet barely touched the white shining floor, even sitting as close as she could to the front of the chair, her shoulder up a bit as her arms rested awkwardly on the desk. Thankfully the seat wasn’t that bad.

Though she was stuck looking like a ten-year old Sam was very lucky. She was at the oldest age someone YL could look and she still had great control over her bodily functions. A lot of YL people were stuck in pull-ups and diapers, but thankfully she didn’t need those. A simple soft pair of trainers hugged her waist, which wasn’t what she would like to be weaning. But it was better than waddling around in a diaper, that would not help her. But the trainers did make it a bit easier to sit on the hard plastic chair.

However, it didn’t make it so the girl couldn’t hear her classmates whispering. What's a little kid doing here? Did she get on the wrong bus? Is she one of the teacher's kids? Is she a child prodigy? Just things that she had heard before at the other schools that she had been to. Though the child prodigy thing would be a nice excuse to be in the classroom. But she couldn’t say that, she could just reach down, unzip the top pocket of her backpack grab a gummy worm, and chew on it.

-Meanwhile In Care-A-Lot-

“Come on, Gram Bear,” A light blue little bear whined as he was forced outside of the house, his feet being planted into the soft cushion-like cloud ground. “I don’t wanna play outside today!” He whined to the adult bear.

“Now now Tugs,” The bear of a similar color said as she patted the little bears. “If you want to show how big and strong you are, then you need to go and run around and show them how useful you can be.” She said to him, playing on the boy’s desire to go and help all the bigger Carebears with their missions. Though Tugs and his sister Hugs were adult Carebears like the rest of the group, they were Youth Locked stuck looking much younger than they were. And unlike a good bit of youth-locked people, the twin bears needed diapers full-time. It was something they had both gotten used to, but it didn’t mean the small blue bear was happy about it all the time. He seldom got chosen to go down and help people. And he could do it, Tugs knew that he could! He just needed to be given the chance to prove himself!

“Come on, Tugs!” A small pink Carebear said, rushing out of the house without the assistance of the older bear, rushing past her brother and down the sidewalk of the house. Unlike the other bear Hugs was ok living a more carefree lifestyle. Not that she didn’t want to help anyone, she would gladly do that. But being able to play and frolic through the clouds all day was a lot more fun than having a long list of chores to take care of every day. Nope, she just had to make sure that her bed was made and her toys were cleaned up. That was all the responsibility that she wanted and needed to have in her life.

But she stopped at the edge of the property where an iron gate stood open and waved for her brother to join her. The boy couldn’t help but give a smile as he watched his sister wave at him as if he were a bull and her hand was a red flag egging him on. He quickly rushed after the other bear, the two giggling as the sudden game of chase suddenly out into the fluffy white clouds.

“AHHHHH!” Hugs squealed out in a high-pitched tone as she held her hands up in the air as she was chased.

“Get back here, Hugs!” The boy demanded as they rushed around, Tugs holding one hand out to tag his sister as his other arm swung back and forth as he pushed forward.

“No! You’ve been in it for two days! I’m not going to let you tag me now!” The girl informed him. They had their little game of tag going on for the past few days, which had started with her as it was, but her brother had quickly tripped and was the victim of her tap. And since then he had been the one chasing her around in between other games and meals she had no desire to give up her winning streak. Plus he could just call the game as soon as he tagged her! She was a good sport and was waiting for him to say he was done, admitting his defeat. But she doubted that he would give her the same courtesy.

“Come on Hugs, it's not fair!” Tugs whined as he pushed forward, and the two ran to the edge of a cloud and skirted along the edge of the cloud. But as they raced along the edge the two could get a glance at what was going on the planet below. Not that anything interesting was going to happen, but sometimes a human down on the planet would have a problem and the Carebears would go down and help take care of it. Not that Hugs and Tugs went down there a whole lot anyway, actually they weren’t even supposed to be this close to the edge of the cloud. But like what were the chances that they would slip and fall to the world below, they’ve been playing on these clouds for years! They were experts on playing near the edge! Though if Grams Bear found out she definitely wouldn’t be too pleased with them. She would probably take away dessert for a week if she caught them. “Oh um… maybe we should move.” The blue bear suggested, slowing down to show his sister he wasn’t just trying to trick her. The thought of losing dessert for a week was enough to make him want a temporary truth so they wouldn’t get in trouble.

Which, seeing the other bear stop, the girl looked around to see where they were before giving a jump as she saw the edge of the could.

“Oh good idea, Tugs.” She said, “I didn’t even realize we were this close to the edge.” She said, as if ‘this close’ wasn’t directly at the edge. But before she could take a side step she took a look out at the world below them, noticing a big brown brick building surrounded by a grey concrete sidewalk with a road in front of it. Looking through the windows of the room quickly she froze as she saw what looked like a little girl, maybe nine or ten years old, sitting at a desk, scooted up to the front of her chair. “Tugs.” She said, making a timeout sign with her hands for a second before pointing off the cloud at the girl. “That chair seems big for her. Why doesn’t have a seat she’d fit in?” She asked her brother as if the other bear was a fountain of knowledge and knew everything. But the boy waddled over and looked at where her sister was pointing and quickly pinpointed the girl in question.

“I don’t know, Hugs.” He said, one eye closed as he stared at the human girl with one. “She’s also surrounded by other bigger kids. Maybe she went to the wrong classroom?” He suggested as his ears started to ring a bit. “Wait, shhhhhh!” He said, covering Hugs’ mouth up as he leaned towards the school, his other hand cupped around his ear so he could hear better.

“H-hi,” Sam said, her high-pitched voice quivering a bit as she sat up straight, having just been called on to introduce herself. She didn’t bother standing up like the rest of her classmates would do. It would take her a minute to climb down and then even longer to get back up into the seat. So she just sat up as straight as she could. “Um… M-my name is S-s-Samanth-tha, and um… S-Sam for s-short.” She said, her voice quickly trailing off.

“That's not the only thing that's short.” A boy in the back of the class said, immediately getting some chuckles and laughs from everyone else. But it made Sam’s entire face light up red and started to feel like she was about to catch on fire. She figured that those comments would come up sooner or later, but it didn’t change the fact that they were embarrassing. However in all honesty she was surprised that it took this long for someone to make an audible comment about it. She had been at schools where someone yelled ‘What's a little kid doing here’ as soon as she walked through the doorway. So this wasn’t the worst experience that she had ever faced.

But the instantly instantly sent her nerves on edge and without even thinking about it her thumb found its way into her mouth for a few seconds. But after some more giggles could be heard from around Sam’s eyes shot open and she pulled her thumb out of her mouth. Taking her shirt she quickly wiped the drool off of it reached down, grabbed a couple of gummy worms, and stuck them in her mouth. Whenever she got nervous or baffled her thumb would somehow find its way into her mouth, another side effect of being YL. But if she had something in her mouth already she wouldn’t have that problem. Or at least that hadn’t happened yet, if she tried that while eating gummies then she would be in for a rude surprise.

“Why are you so little?” A girl, looking like a typical teenager. A black shirt with a white blouse under it, a black mini skirt, tights, black and yellow sneakers, and a ton of makeup decorating her face. Basically what Sam wished she could look like instead of your typical middle schooler trying to look older than what they were. And a low murmur of people asking the same question.

“O-oh…” She said, squirming in her seat as she looked at the teacher to move on to the next student.

“If you’re okay with explaining your condition that's fine Sammy.” The teacher said, making the girl cringe as a few other people echoed ‘Sammy’. She hated being called Sammy, it was a name that matched her body. But with that, Sam felt like she was backed into a corner with that name. How could she not explain what was going on with her without looking like a kid who was trying to hide under their blankets from the non-existent monster in their closet?

“Ok…” She said and cleared her throat to start to explain.

“Oh, I’m sure everyone would be able to hear you better in the front of the classroom.” The teacher said, not trying to make Sam’s life more difficult in the moment. She probably thought that she was helping the girl… But she might as well put a neon sign over her that said ‘LOOK AT THE SMALL FREAK’.

“Fine.” She squeaked as she slid off her desk went to the front of the room and took a deep breath. She tried to look her classmates in the eyes at first, but after half a second of intense stares, she felt like the ground was much more interesting than her peers. “Um… I-I suffer f-f-from something c-called Y-y-y-Youth Locked.” She said, sticking one hand in her pocket as she nervously fiddled with her long blond hair. “I-it makes me w-w-ook wike…” She lisped, clearing her throat to try and collect her thoughts. “L-look like a l-little kid.” She explained. “B-but o-o-other than t-that I-I am a n-normal t-t-teen.” She said.

“One who sucks their thumb.” Someone said out loud, making her blush again. They didn’t exactly yell it out at the girl but they weren’t quiet about it either.

“T-that's an um… s-side effect,” Sam answered. “I-I can’t really control it.” She informed everyone, “A-and t-the stuttering.” She sighed and after an awkward second, she reached up with her other hand and grabbed a bit of her hair. “Uh… t-thats all.” She said before going back to her seat.

“Aw… that poor girl,” Tugs said, standing up straight again, his cheeks puffed out a bit as he looked down at the school. He couldn’t believe that there was somebody down on the planet below that was like him and his sister! But the way people were lightly making fun of her wasn’t very nice.

“And those bullies picking on her.” Hugs pouted, crashing on the ground with her arms crossed. “It’s not like it’s her fault that she’s like that.” The pink bear sighed as she lay on her back, feeling the soft cotton cloud cushion her and staring up at the blue sky.

“Yeah, and it's clear that she’s having a hard time with it.” Her brother said, joining her on the ground as he pondered what to do.

“We could tell the others.” Hugs offered, looking at Tugs, “They would be able to handle this situation like they normally do.”

“We could tell them…” Tugs said with a sigh before an idea popped into his head and a smile grew across his face as he sat up. “Or…” He said, brushing some clouds off his shoulder, “We could go down there and take care of it ourselves!”

“What?” Hugs asked, “I don’t think that's such a good idea, Tugs. We don’t have the experience that the other Carebears have.”

“Exactly!” Tugs said, planting his hands on his hips as he got on his tippy toes, “We don’t have their experience but we have our experience! An experience that Sam is having and none of the other Carebears know what she is going through.” He pointed out.

“Hm…” His sister mused as she thought about that. Her brother did make a good point about them being the only ones who knew what Sam was going through. “What about Grams Bear? You know she doesn’t want us leaving Care-A-Lot without one of the bigger care bears with us.”

“We’ll be back before she even notices that we’re gone.” He assured her, reaching a paw down for the girl to take. “Besides this could be our one and only chance to prove that we can be helpful Carebears.” He muttered the last part, kicking the clouds a bit, making his sister sigh.

Hugs knew that her brother took their YL situation a lot harder than she did. While she was okay with her carefree lifestyle she knew her brother wanted to prove that he was useful to their friends. He had a hard time with being treated like a little kid all the time and that is why he really wanted to help out with whatever and wherever he could. So she sighed and took his hand and got up to her feet.

“Ok, I guess if we’re the only ones that can do this then we better get down there.” She said, mimicking her brother and planting a hand on her hip.

“Great!” He said as he tugged her, “Let's get going then!” He said, pulling her forward as they jumped off the clouds and headed for the planet below them. The blue bear holding a hand in the air and letting out an excited. “WEEEEEEE!” As they soared through the air.

But hugs let out a much less enthusiastic high pitch. “AAAAAAAAH!” She covered her eyes as they quickly landed on a soft patch of lush green grass. “You know there's other ways of getting down here.” Hugs pouted, ripping her hand away from her brothers.

“Yeah, but that was a lot more fun!” The boy chirped as he jumped to his feet and started to head to the school. “Now let's hurry, we gotta find Sam!” He said.

“Hey, wait up, Tugs!” Hugs said as she got to her feet and ran after her brother.

Sam sighed as she quickly rushed out of her classroom, chewing on a gummy worm as if her life depended on it. After the little explanation, her peers seemed to have been content with the embarrassment that had gone through as no one else commented on anything else that she did. And thankfully her teacher didn’t get after her about the gummy worms, it would have led to more embarrassing thumb-sucking if she had been banned from her chewy sweet treat. Now she just had to survive the rest of the day and she’d be good.

“There she is!” Tugs said as he ran forward, and tried to slide in front of the girl. But as he tried to skid he ended up just tripping and rolled into the girl, sending her down on the ground with a loud oof.

“Tugs!” Hugs huffed as she quickly approached them, helping her brother up. “I’m so sorry, Sam. Tugs is just really excited to try and help you.” She explained as she grabbed the girl under the arm and tried to hoist her up. Since Sam was almost five times her size it made it practically impossible.

“W-who are you?” Sam asked confused as she got up, her classmates walking out and smirked down at the girl. The girl looked like she was a little kid with what looked like two stuffed teddy bears at her side. She grabbed the bears by their paws and ducked into the first empty room that she could find.

“W-well…” Hugs said when they were in the new room away from all the other teenagers, and looked at her brother. This was all his idea so she was going to let him take the lead on it.

“We’re the Carebears!” The blue bear said, puffing his chest out with pride, “And we’re here to help you out, Sam.” He said.

Thanks for the info on Youth Lock

I enjoyed the first half of the story but wasn't so keen on the part about Care Bears to be honest.

Oh you're most definitely welcome and like the opening says if you wish to make your own youthlock story you have a template to work off of. Also what do you mean you weren't keen on the Care Bears part?

I prefer something set in the real world with humans.

That's okay but to be fair this does technically take place in the real world, what I mean is that it's basically based on old cartoons that usually talked about serious subjects like someone with a disability or someone say no to something, almost always done in a very hand-fisted way. So think of it like old the Care Bears cartoon trying to talk about what youthlock.

Part 2

“Help me, how?” The teen asked, the bear peaking her curiosity. “C-can you m-m-make m-me l-l-l-l-look normal?” She asked.

“Oh well… no not really.” Tugs said sheepishly. “But you don’t need to be normal, Sam. You’re great just the way you are!” He assured the girl, waving his hands around as he talked. “Me and my sister and like you, we’re a lot older than what we look just like you.” He said.

“Yeah, and we don’t let that get us down!” Hugs said to the girl. “Just because you’re different doesn’t mean that you can’t have fun and be helpful!”

“We’ll I-I’m not sure what it’s l-l-like wherever you two are from, b-but here it's hard to make fwiends and fit in when you look like me.” Sam sighed, lisping a bit as she popped the last bit of the gummy worm she had been working on in her mouth as the bell rang. “Oh no I-I’m gonna be late!” She yelped as she booked it out of the room to head to her next class… which was Chemistry.

“Uh oh.” Someone said as Sam entered the room, “Someone gets Sammy’s babysitter. Can’t have her getting something in her whittle eyes.” They said, making the girl epp as she booked it to the first empty chair she found.

“Hey lay off her.” Someone said, a few other people chiming in to somewhat defend the girl.

“It's not my fault she looks like she needs to be in my little brother's class.” The bully sneered.

“What a meanie!” Hugs huffed as she heard the bully. “Someone should have taught him some manners.” She huffed.

“Agreed, but did you hear that?” Tugs asked with a smile. “There were people sticking up

for her.”

“Oh oh oh!” The pink bear cheered excitedly, “And that means that they could be friends!” She suggested, trying to see if she could follow her brother's train of thought.

“Bingo!” He said said, giving a wink. “All we got to do is give them a nudge.” He said as they slipped into the classroom and snuck to the back where a teenage boy in a white tank top and basketball shorts was arguing about how it was okay to pick on Sam. The girl who had asked Sam why she was so little in the previous class was trying to defend the girl. “Hm…” Tugs mused, tapping his chin as he wondered what he could do. Getting the bully to stop talking seemed like a good thing. But that would have to be a problem for another day, and though she was embarrassed by the comments, Sam seemed good at ignoring bullies. Which was a good ability to have, Hugs and Tugs had been told that the only thing bullies really want is attention, and if you don’t give it to them then they’d leave you alone. Besides their target was to help Sam, and what better way to help someone than getting them a friend?

“Oh, I got it!” Tugs said as she tapped her belly, the little icon on her white belly starting to glow and suddenly a couple of things on the girl's desk started to glow and a phone lifted in the air and fell to the ground, sliding across the floor so everyone could see it move. It went right under a number of desks, even right by Sam’s feet, and under a large brown wooden cabinet.

“Ah, come on!” The girl growled as she got up and rushed after the phone, diving for it as it went under the cabinet. “No no no no.” She muttered as she tried to reach under the cabinet, but sadly the gap was just big enough that the girl couldn’t fit her hand under it. So she looked at the teacher and sighed, “Can we move this?” She asked him, get a head shake no.

“Sorry, but there's a bunch of class materials in there, it would take all class to get it.” He sighed, “I’ll have the maintenance man get it out later tonight and you’ll have it back tomorrow.”

“Tomorrow?” The girl asked as she stood up and looked at the teacher. “No, my mom will be mad if I lose that phone. Especially on the first day.” She said.

“I’m sorry but unless you can reach under there and grab it you’ll have to wait until tomorrow to get it.” He said to her.

“If only someone could reach under there.” Tugs said with a smirk as he winked at Hugs and went to Sam and tugged on her pant leg. “Go ahead, Sam!” He said with a whisper.

“What, me?!” The teen asked nervously as the bear nodded his head. Making the girl sigh as she sat there for a couple of seconds before she got off her chair and went over. “C-c-can I t-t-t-t-try?” The girl stuttered out, getting on her stomach, and reached under the cabinet. Her hand was just small enough to slide right under the cabinet and she moved her hand around until she felt something cold and hard and grabbed and fished out the phone. “H-here you go.” She said and held the phone up for the bigger girl to take.

“Thank you so much, Sam!” The girl said taking the phone from her classmate before going to her seat.

“Yes good job, Sam.” The teacher said giving her a small round of applause, making the girl blush as she quickly returned to her seat for class.

“Good job!” Tugs said, watching as Sam climbed up in her seat, the Carebear already holding a couple of gummy worms up for the girl. “See, you were able to help out.”

“I-I g-guess,” Sam said with a smile as she sat up straight and listened to the teacher's lecture.

The next few classes passed without any incidents and soon it was lunch time, and Sam headed to the cafeteria. Which was about as loud as the hallways had been when she first entered the school that morning. But now the aroma of the different lunches everyone had brought with them was mixed in the other smells that she had been hit with earlier.

Going to the table Sam sighed as she sat alone, reaching into her backpack and pulling out a PB&J and a special protein shake that was made to give YL people the vitamins they needed. It came in different flavors like chocolate, strawberry, and peanut butter, but she had to normal vanilla flavor with her that day. But before the girl could start to eat her lunch a group of girls walked over and towered over her.

“Hey Sam,” The girl that had lost her phone earlier said, “These seats taken?” She asked as the girls sat down. They all had the blue plastic tray with the school lunch on it in their hands and they sat them down on the lunch table. “Thank you again for getting my phone.” She said.

“Yeah, that was super cool.” One of the other girls said, leaving Sam speechless as she stared at them all.

“Uh… uh…” Was all the tiny teen could get out at first. “Y-yeah? I-it w-w-was n-no problem. D-d-did you n-need somet-thing?” She asked.

“No, not really, just wanted to hang out.” The girl she helped said, making Sam’s heart skip a beat. They really wanted to hang out with her?

“O-oh ok!” She said excitedly as a smile grew across her face she looked around and noticed the two Carebears looking into the cafeteria from the hallway, Hugs standing on Tug’s shoulders. “I-I’ll be r-r-right b-back!” She said as she practically flew off her seat, rushed out of the cafeteria, and gave the two bears a hug. “Y-you guys w-w-w-wer wight! I was able to help out by being myself!” She cheered, getting a giggle from the bears.

“We knew you had it in you!” Tugs cheered, hugging the girl back. “Keep your head up and don’t let anyone get you down.”

“Now go and hang out with your new friends.” Hugs said after giving the girl a hug and watching the girl go back to her table. “Ok… only one thing left to do now, Tugs.” She said.

“What's that?” The boy asked, looking at his sister with a raised eyebrow.

“How do we get home?” She asked him with her arms crossed arms as she tapped her foot. She didn’t feel like getting in trouble so she hoped her brother had a plan on getting back to Care-A-Lot.

“Oh… that.” He said sheepishly with a giggle, “Well… I got one more super important thing to take care of right now.”

“And what's that?” She asked as she felt her brother tap her.

“Tag, your it!” He said before running away laughing, “Finally after three days!” He cheered, his sister immediately giving chase.

“Hey no fair!” She whined, forgetting about needing to get home and trying to get her brother back.

Hello all here is a new YouthLock story, and just like with the Care Bears this one is based on the classic '80s cartoon show She-Ra. Made by Catros Creative Corner and commissioned by me. Please give them a like a sub and a commission if you have the money.

                                                                                                                                        SHE-RA-THE LITTLE RULER

                                                                                                                                                             Part one

It was another nice day at Castle Brightmoon    as the sun beamed down and warmed the giant castle. The birds sang their songs without anyone bothering    their chorus, the flowers reached up to the sky, and the bugs buzzed around collecting  nectar. Standing in the castle and the surrounding  area you would have assumed that there was nothing wrong in the world of Etheria. But glancing out the windows of the top floors of the castle you would be able to see a weird building with weird skinny jagged pillars enclosing it, like a giant hand trying to enclose the large building. The sky above Brightmoon was a bright blue with a couple of white fluffy clouds that would give the people a break from the sun, the other lands' skies were a light brown color.

These were the things Adora noticed as she stared out the window, the blond leaning against a broom as she looked out towards the wasteland    that she once called home. Of course, it had been through manipulative magic spells that kept her there, blind to the horrors that the group who lived there did. Even thinking about her time there made her cringe. The Hoard as it was known to everyone in Etheria was a scourge on the land and tried to take control of everything. And sadly, even though she was being brainwashed, Adora was ashamed to think that she had any part of the Hoard and their terror of the land. But thanks to her brother Adam showing up and freeing her from the spells controlling her, she was now free and was able to help the rebels fight the Horde and free the world from their clutches. She did as much as she could, lending the Rebellion assistance on the battlefield and with what she knew about their enemies.

And her efforts were well spent as the towns of the world were either supporting them or had at least heard about them. The Hoard's numbers and allies were dwindling every day and victory seemed like it was within reach. They were even able to host a little party that day, hence why Adora had a broom in her hands. She was helping dust and clean the castle for a special guest, Queen Kidra. What the ruler was, the queen of Adora, honestly had no idea. This planet had so many different rulers, magical creatures, and mysteries that the lady had a hard time keeping up with it. Unless they were actively helping her in the fight against the Hoard she more than likely didn’t know who they were. She knew Princess Frosta the ruler of the Icelands, Princess Mermista ruler of the oceans, and then Princess Glimmer who was one of the rebellion's leaders. But most of the other rulers weren’t exactly on her radar. But Queen Angela, who was on Adora’s radar since she was Glimmer ’s mother, had asked this other Queen to a small celebration in hopes of getting her to join the rebellion.

Any help they could get would be appreciated, more so if it was from a ruler who had some influence  and power to help their cause. So the band of rebels cleaning up and making the castle look extra spiffy wasn’t too much to ask. “Adora!” A high-pitched  voice whined as someone approached her, making Adora’s head whip around to see who was talking to her, quickly approaching  Princess Glimmer . Dressed in her normal skin-tight  purple and light blue jumpsuit, and dark purple boots, her bubblegum pink hair brushed straight down in its normal style. “Come on, we don't have time to slack off, we gotta get this place ready.” She reminded the blond.

“R-right, of course, Glimmer ,” Adora said, standing straight up and starting to move the broom back and forth, making bits of dust stir up and get sucked out of the window . “So what is Queen Kidra the ruler over exactly?” She asked, trying to get any information    that she could on the queen. “You don’t know?” Glimmer asked, pausing from rushing around, “Oh it’s a good thing you asked. It would have been awkward for you if you hadn’t known.” She said with a giggle.“Queen Kidra is the ruler of a group called the Youth-Locked.” The pink princess started to explain, placing one hand on her hip and the other one bouncing around in the air as she talked,“The entire kingdom looks like they’re nothing more than children, but past that, there's not a lot known about them. My mom is probably the only person who has seen the queen.”

“You can say that last part again.” She said if she had no idea about an entire kingdom of people who looked like children that meant that the Hoard itself knew little to nothing. And it just left Adora with more questions than answers. Why did the kingdom look like kids, how did they keep themselves    so well hidden from the Hoard, was there a specific reason why they kept themselves so hidden? The fact they looked like children probably meant that they weren’t the best fighters in the world, but there had to be some reason why they didn’t join the Resistance. Even if it was to ask for the group's protection, they would have gladly given it to them. But thankfully they didn’t try to go to Hordak, the leader of the Hoard, for the same thing along the line. As a lot of Eternia had learned the hard way, teaming up with Hoardak was never a good idea.

“What about Madame Razz, do you think she would know anything about the kingdom?” Adora asked, getting a shoulder shrug from her friend. “That's a good question,” Glimmer mused as she started to walk away, “It wouldn’ t surprise me if that crazy spell weaver knew a thing or two. But you’re not allowed to ask her until you’re done with cleaning these halls!” She instructed    before turning her back, “Oh, and try to double-check with She-Ra and her making an appearance.” She said before spinning on her heel and rushing down the hall to make sure the rest of the preparations for the day were going well.

                                                                                                                  Part two

“Will do.” The lady said, giving a joking half-hearted salute to the princess as she ran off. She then reached back and pulled out the sword that was in the sheath strapped to her back. The cool metal instantly warmed at her touch, as if it was trying to greet her in some way. She held the sword in the light pouring in from the window , watching the gray metal sparkly and the gem in the middle reflect the sunlight. She would be able to make sure that the famous Princess of Power She-Ra was at the party because she was She-Ra.

This sword had been a key in freeing her from the spells controlling her. That day she met her brother, got the sword, lifted it above her head, and declared for the honor of Grayskull that she was freed from the spells for good. Though it was a closely guarded secret that only a few people knew. There was her twin brother Adam, who had a similar ability to turn into a hero, Light Hope, Madame Razz, and Kowl. They all knew how important    it was that the secret didn’t get leaked out.

If all her friends knew the truth about who she was then their lives would be in even more danger than they already were. But as long as Adora wasn’t occupied with anything then neither would She-Ra. Now she would just have to come up with a reason for not being there when Queen Kidra arrives. She doubted the normal ‘ Oh I got lost during a walk ’ was going to work in this instance. She would probably opt out for a small fib and tell everyone she was handling a small Horde force that was on its way to harass a town. It would be believable and maybe it would show the Queen of the Youth Locks that the Resistance was a serious group and protected those who needed it.

Plus Adora probably wouldn’ t be in too much hot water for missing the queen's presence to stop the Horde. “Hohoho.” A high-pitched laugh was heard, pulling the girl from her thoughts once again, “You missed a spot.” And when Adora looked she saw the brownish-orange bird creature known as Kowl. Using his large ears as wings he flapped outside the window , one finger pointing into the hallway at the presumably ‘missed spot’, though with how large and dusty the castle was Kowl might as well have taken Adora out of the castle and just pointed at the building.

“Thanks, Kowl I’d be lost without you.” The lady said with a giggle and walked up to him. “Hey, Kowl do you know anything about Queen Kidra or the Youth Locked people?” She asked the bird koala creature. She doubted it since the people group seemed to be almost a secret of the planet, but every once in a while Kowl managed to surprise her. With either a little tidbit that he somehow knew or a spurt of bravery that saved the day.

“Hm... let’s see her...” Kowl mused as he landed on the ledge of the window , tapping his taloned foot on the stone and rubbing the bottom of his peak like he was rubbing a chin. “Nope doesn’t exactly ring a bell, other than the Queen of the people is supposed to be here for a party
on her own in an hour or so.” He said before shrugging his shoulders. “Wait, she's coming alone.” Adore asked, leaning against the broom again as she raised an eyebrow , “That doesn’t seem safe, especially    for someone who looks like a child.” She mused.“Hoot, you wouldn’ t find me traveling alone that’s for sure.” Kowl scoffed, like the idea of traveling alone was the craziest idea to ever be said. However , the bird creature wasn’t exactly known for his endless bounds of bravery and confidence.

More so hanging around, giving a sarcastic comment or two, then flying off and hiding when danger finally showed itself. He could also pop in if the group got trapped in a cell or something and pop them free, but that was the extent of his hero work. “Don’t worry Kowl, we would never ask that from you unless it was for a good reason.” Adora chuckled before frowning, “Hey, why aren’t you helping with getting the party ready?” She asked him. “Oh well you know,” He said, kicking his foot at an invisible rock, his hands behind his back, and started to rock back and forth. “Glimmer sort of wants me to clear out any spiders. But I would rather not deal with those creepy crawly eight-legged creatures.” He shuttered, goosebumps    running up and down his body. “Besides it seems quite rude to try and relocate them from their homes.” He mused.

“Ok, but I’d be careful to not run into Glimmer .” Adora advised, “Queen Angella put Glimmer in charge of making sure everything is ready and she's taking it seriously .” “Quite.” Kowl sighed in agreement, “Hopefully she doesn’t blow a gasket.” He said as his ears started to flap back and forth as he started to lift off. “Kowl! Where are you!” Glimmer called out, her high-pitched voice echoing through the castle, bouncing off the old castle wall.

“Oh no.” He sighed rubbing his eyes, “Pleasuring speaking to you as always Adora, but you’ll have to excuse me as I must take my leave.” He said before flying off, not forgetting to be well-mannered, even when dodging work. “Good luck, Kowl,” Adora said with a giggle as she waved goodbye to her friend and got back to sweeping. Glimmer was already having to deal with one workdodger. She didn’t want to be another person on the not working list. So she was ready to try and make the castle spotless.

                                                                                                                   Part three

“M-my my -my.” A girl said as she walked alone at the edge of the whispering woods, “T-t-this part of E-e-e-e-Etheria i-is q-q-quite lovely.” She stuttered as she talked out loud. Her hand reaches into the Whispering Woods, her fingers gently brushing against the dark leaves of the bushes. To anyone with malice in their hearts, the woods were like an impenetrable fortress, it would prevent them from entering and even would attack anyone who would try and force themselves in.

It was a rare instant for the girl to be outside of the protection of the woods, which is why she kept a hand inside the forest. If she had seen any sign of danger she would retreat into the protection of the leaves. Anyone looking at her would have just assumed that she was just a little kid who wandered away from their village, as she did look like she was around eight years old. Her small skinny frame, cloaked in a purple tunic and blue tights with brown leather shoes, even light brown hair tied back in a ponytail.

The only thing that showed that she wasn’t a normal little kid was a crown on her head. The crown was made of wood and vines that had different shining crystals weaved and a purple cloak that was tied around her neck and went down to her ankles. But she wasn’t exactly just a little girl who was off on an adventure away from her mom and dad. She was someone a bit more important than that, though she was trying to keep who she was hidden for the moment. Keeping her and her people hidden and as secretive as possible was just in her best interest.

Though she and her people weren’t as secretive as she had hoped. When she received a letter from Queen Angella to attend a royal party she reluctantly accepted. Only because it was the Queen of Brightmoon who extended the invitation to her. The last word that she had gotten about her old friend was she had been captured and imprisoned by the Horde. So she showed up and showed how relieved she was that the Queen was okay and back in her kingdom.“Halt.” A deep robotic voice said, making the girl pause as commanded a high-pitched hum was heard behind her as someone took heavy footsteps towards her.

Though she wasn’t going to just let someone grab her.“Can I help you, sir?” She asked as she turned around, her arms crossed as her fingers drummed against her arm. Though she froze as she saw someone almost three times her size in thick grey metal armor with two yellow glowing eyes looking out of the helmet slit. A red logo that looked like two dragon wings with a crystal between them. The girl knew that people were going to be a lot taller than her outside of her village. But she hadn’t been prepared for how much bigger they were compared to her. Also, the fact that this person or creature was clad in armor like it was ready to fight caught the girl off guard.

“You are outside of the permitor of the nearest village.” The armored creature said in a dull unamused voice, as if this was the most boring part of its day. But without another word, it reached down grabbed her arm, and started to drag her away. “Uh h-h-hey!” The brown-haired girl yelped, immediately fighting as she was pulled away. “U-nh-h-and me you b-brute!” She demanded, trying to tug her arm free, and even attempted to hit the creature. And it only led to her yelping as she immediately started to throb as a loud CLANK .

“Force Captain Catra,” The armored creature said as they got to a small group that consisted of more of the strange armored creatures and a lady with light-tanned skin, a sleeveless crimson red dress that went to the women's thighs, a weird red helmet with little green glass slits on it sitting on her forehead, and red boots that hiked up to her knees. She also had dark blue hair that almost melded together with her purple cape that dropped down to the back of her calves.

“I found this small child at the edge of the Whispering Woods.” “Mmmm yes interesting, if I were a total moron.” The lady growled like a cat, looking at her long red nails that had been sharpened to points as if the lady would need them to stab someone. “So unless she's a member of royalty then I’m not exactly interested. Not very a-mew-zing for me.” She scoffed blowing on her nails. “Take her back to whatever hole in the ground she belongs to.”

“Affirmative.”  The creature said and started to drag the girl off towards the nearest village. “Order t-t-this... t-t-t-t-thing to let g-g-go of me!” The girl demanded, “I-I am roy-royaly and will not be m-manhandled like s-s-so!” She demanded, trying to let the commander know that she needed to show some respect. And upon hearing that, the commander  ‘Catra’ snapped her fingers making the steel man stop and turn back.

“Mm... Royalty you say. That’s purrrfect.” The lady mused, walking over and bent over, putting a nail under the girl's chin. “Hm... You’re a bit young to be a queen.” The lady thought out loud as she looked the child over. “No matter, with that pretty whittle crown on your head means you’re not lying. So your mommy will pay a purrrr-etty    penny to get you back.” She purred, “What's your name sweetie?” She asked, holding a finger up that dug into the girl's soft skin, not penetrating  it but to the point where it stung.

“U-u-u-um....”    The girl stuttered, realizing that she probably messed up letting the lady know that she was royalty. But thankfully Catra had basically admitted that she didn’t think that the girl was a queen. “K-k-Kidra.” The girl spat out as she looked away from the lady, sighing in relief as she removed her dagger of a fingernail. “We’ll Kindra, you came at the purrrr-fect time.” She said, “We have been tasked with stopping the queen of some hidden kingdom, nothing is really known about them. But that's going to change. You’re mom is going to tell us everything we want to know about this hidden kingdom if she wants you to be okay. As long as you behave then nothing bad will happen to
you.” She mused.

The girl sighed and nodded her head, not really having much of a choice at the moment. But she wasn’t going to just stick around and wait for a mom who didn’t exist to come and bail her out. She would have to find some way to escape, which thankfully due to her small size she and the rest of the Youth Locked people were pretty sneaky. But they didn’t exactly have anything that would make them a threat in a one-on-one combat situation, being the size of children. That's why the Youth Locked were hidden away in the Whispering Woods in a place where only a handful of people knew the location. That way no one could threaten them, and if anyone did the Youth Locked people could attack amid the trees and vines.

“Put her in the carrier.” Catra orders, snapping her fingers again and pointing what looks like a weird metal raft. Though it was a hovercraft, not that the Queen of the Youthlocks would know that since she had been deep in the woods for most of her life. And the metal creature, which was just a robot and again the girl wouldn’ t know that, to the hovercraft and lifted her into it. Leaving the queen to roll her eyes as the robot left her alone and looked around. Past Catra three robots, that had the standard ray gun in their arms, stood guard.

Standing up the girl looked around to see what she could do, knowing if she could get to the woods she would be ok. This group of ruffians seemed like the kind of people that the forest would block. And thankfully there was only a small handful of people there and the robots didn’t seem like the brightest creatures in the world. Only the one called Catra seemed to have a couple of brain cells working still. Kidra considered    just making a break for it and diving into the forest but with Catra in between her and the lush green trees, it was a gamble to attempt something    like that.

So the little queen quickly took inventory of what was on the ship, and sadly there wasn’t exactly anything too useful. Just seats and a bunch of weird glowing buttons. But maybe those would do something. So the girl quietly walked over to the panel, climbed up in the pilot seat, and stood on it to see what was there. And it looked like a rainbow had thrown up on the sheet of metal before her since every button seemed to be a different color. She had no idea which one to press first.

So she pressed a square button that was glowing. And when she did she immediately heard a do-sssssh from behind her. “Mrow?” Catra asked confused, “Why did your rust buckets turn off?” She spat at the robots, and Kidra felt the lady’s glare hit the back of her head like daggers. “Hey don’t mess with that you brrrr-at!” She hissed, making Kidra jump as she started to quickly press more buttons trying to get something else to happen.

“Ah!” She yelped as she felt the hovercraft start up, lifting off the ground a few inches, and causing her to lose her balance and crash forward onto a weird circle that looked like some sort of wheel. Pushing the wheel forward caused the hovercraft to start and go forward. “Whoa whoa whoa!” The queen cried, grabbing the wheel, her brown hair whipping in the air as she zoomed forward. She tried to get her balance by pushing on one side of the wheel.

But this only made the hovercraft make a sharp turn to the right, causing it to spin in a circle. Kindra could only squeal as she spun in a circle, clinging to the wheel for dear life. “Ah stooop stooop stoooop!” Catra demanded as the spinning hovercraft headed right toward her and the robots. “You spoiled brrrr-at!” She demanded,    though her orders didn’t make the little queen move from her spot. “MROW!” The lady yelped as she dodged out of the way as the hovercraft spun into the three robots, sending them flying and crashing to the ground.

Where they immediately shattered into a million pieces. The hovercraft didn’t stop until the queen almost drove into the Whispering Woods. Though vines and tree branches magically reached out and wrapped around the hovercraft, forcing it to stop. The sudden stop made Kindra lose hold of the wheel and tumble out of the vehicle since the vines and branches were holding it with it flipped on its side. “AH!” She cried, feeling the wind hit her face, the world around her spinning thanks to the ride she had just taken. But thankfully a vine managed to grab her and gently place her on the ground, and a branch patted her on the head before the trees leaned back and shot up, making the hovercraft fly through the air and land on the ground. A loud BOOM could be heard in the distance as the ground shook a bit like a small earthquake happened.

“Talk about taking it for a spin.” Catra hissed as she approached the girl, reaching down to grab her. Kidra, somewhat seeing this, tried to get up and lunch in the woods right beside her. But as soon as she stood up she found herself on her stomach, too dizzy to even stand. She could feel her eyes rolling around in their sockets. The lady grabbed the girl by the back of her shirt and lifted her up, the shirt pressing on the queen choking her a bit. “If you’re this trrr-icky then we better find your mom. I’m sure she’ll be double the trrrrouble.” She hissed, holding Kidra away as the girl swung and kicked at her. Purring in amusement as she pulled out a radio.

“Catra to Horrrdak.” She said into the small box, “I need a new hovercraft sent to my dispatch location. That Imps little tip was corrrrrect and I caught the princess to that hidden people. And she has caused me quite a bit of trouble.” She informed the other person listening, making Queen Kidra stop her fighting and gulp. She was about to be in real trouble here soon.

                                                                                                               Part Four

“Help! Help! Help!” A high-pitched    voice said, causing all the decorating for the party to cease. At this point, Adora had finally managed to make it outside to the steps of the castle where everyone had been setting up different tents for games and had been preparing    delicious-smelling foods. But making their way through the crowd a small creature with lavender purple skin, wrapped in dark green leaves was used as the creature's    clothing.

The creature was known as a Twigget, a race of people that lived and thrived in the Whispering Woods. They weren’t exactly large imposing creatures, but they were scrappy, great shots with their little crossbows, and were loyal. “Adroa!” The creature yelped seeing the girl, scrambling up to the lady. From their slender form and long witch-like nose, Adroa recognized the Twiggit as Sprag, who regularly joined her and her friends on missions. “It’s terrible, it’s awful!” They cried, wrapping her arm around Adora’s leg.

“What?! What is it Sprag?!” Adora asked, stopping her sweeping, glad she had an excuse to do so. If she had one more dust bunny fly into her face she was going to going to find someone to outsource this task to. “Is everything okay?” “No! Sprocker and I were out in the woods keeping an eye for Queen Kidra on Queen Angela's request. But we didn’t exactly know what the other queen looked like.” She started to explain, “And we noticed that Catra was hanging around the border at the northern part of the Whispering Woods and she had a kid that claimed to be Kidra!” She said, making Adora’s eyes shoot open and her mouth drop open in shock.

“That’s not good!” Adora declared, as if that wasn’t already obvious news, and looked around. “Where's Sprocker? They didn’t try and free the girl from Catra did they?” “No, when we realized what was going on we both rushed back here!” Sprag explained, “I was just a bit faster.” Sprag explained,    and as if on queue Sprocker barreled through the crowd. The big-boned    round Twigglet dragged themselves through the crowd, their tongue sticking out as they panted like a dog. Clearly, their rush back took more out of them than it did Sprag.

“But they don’t know that she’s the queen of the Youth Locked. Catra thinks since Queen Kidra looks like a kid she’s the princess.” “Really?” Adora asked, bringing her hand up to her chin thinking. “We can probably use that to our advantage since the Horde probably knows less about the Youth Locked people than we do. So if they think that Queen Kidra is just a princess then she's not in as much trouble.” “R-right,” Sprag said, letting go of Adora nodding her head, and looking around.

“Shouldb we tell Bow or Glimmer?” “Maybe it would be best if we handle this ourselves.” Adora suggested, “Well of course I’ll try and see if She-Ra can help us. But I think keeping this between us is the best course of action.” Adora remembered how frazzled her pink-haired friend had been making sure that everything was going smoothly so the party for Queen Kidra would be a success. So telling her that the guest of the hour had been kidnapped seemed like a bad idea. “Besides its nothing that I- er... She-Ra hasn’t taken care of on her own already.” Adora pointed out, putting a hand on her hip, and gave a thumbs up with a smirk.

“I guess that’s true.” Sprag said, rubbing her chin, “Alright, Adora, let's go and kick some Horde butt!” “Sounds good,” Adora said, landing her fist in her hand, “You guys head back to where you saw Catra and the Queen. At the very least you can stall them until She-Ra can show up and give you a hand.” She ordered. “Will do, Adora!” Sprag said, giving the girl a salute before dashing back from the way they came, passing Sprocker.

“Wait, more running?” The large Twigget asked with a disappointed sigh before turning and chasing after their friend. “Wait for me Sprag!” They called off. “And now time for my part,” Adora said, sticking the broom behind the castle wall. She was sure Glimmer wasn’t going to be exactly thrilled that she was going to be missing for a bit. But between cleaning and saving Queen Kidra, the rescue mission seemed like the more important option. So rushing into the woods, away from where anyone could see her, Adora sighed as she pulled her sword out and held it in the air. “For the honor of Greyskull!”

She cheered, her body immediately coursing with energy as if a bolt of lightning had been injected into her veins, superchar ging her blood and making her some sort of superhuman. Her clothes changed from her red leotard and shirt to a white dress with a golden belt wrapped around her waist and a golden flower with a light blue crystal in the middle of her belt. A pair of gold-colored boots appeared on her feet gold arm braces wrapped around her arms, and a golden helmet appeared on her face. She even grew a couple of feet. “Now let’s go save a princess!”

                                                                                                                 Part five

She-Ra declared, her voice a bit deeper and filled with a bit more authority than Adora’s. And now that she was ready to kick some Horde butt as Sprag put it, She-Ra the Princess of Power rushed through the Whispering Woods towards the northern part of the woods, as Sprag had told her. And in what felt like a jog that lasted just a couple minutes the princess found herself face to face with the two Twiggets, who were poking their heads out of a bush. “Sprag, Sproker , its me.” She-Ra informed them as she got on her knees and popped her head out of the bush as well. “That's the Horde alright.” She mused as she scanned the area.

There were three hovercrafts parked in the field with a dozen robots there, all surrounding a little girl with long brown hair, purple clothes, and a crown made of wood and crystals. “That’s the queen,” Adora said, looking at her two friends, who nodded in confirmation. She-Ra wasn’t sure why she was so surprised to see that the Queen looked like a child. She had just been told that a few hours ago. But being told something and seeing it for yourself were two separate things. She looked just like a little eight-year-old girl, which made it extra confusing    to see her completely surrounded by robots. “So let me get this straight?” Someone said, snapping She-Ra from her thoughts and
making her look and frown.

There was Catra, whom she was expecting thanks to the Twigglet’s report. But there was now another person there, the head of the Horde himself Hordak . The man was in his normal outfit. Black armor with a dragon symbol in the middle of it, one hand morphed into a canon and flippers on his feet. His bleach-white face twisted with anger, his normal hand rubbing his face. “A child managed to not only best you, but destroyed three of my robots and one of my hovercrafts?” He growled at the cat lady. “On your watch. A CHILD destroyed THREE of MY robots and an ENTIRE HOVERCRAFT!” He repeated himself, making Catra cringe.

“What do you have to say for yourself Force Captain Catra? Not even Mantenna has had such a blunder and up to this point I thought he was the most incompetent out of all of you!” “What a nice guy, can I work for him too?” Sprag asked with an eye roll as they listened to the man yelling at his commander.“Sure, feel free. I’m sure the man would like another person to yell at.” She-Ra said to Sprag with a smirk as she looked at the Queen. If what Hordak was correct the little Queen had done a lot more on her own than She-Ra would have given her credit for. Apparently, you really couldn’ t judge a book by its cover. “Ok well, here's the plan,” She-Ra said, pulling her head out the push.

“I’m going to try and sneak up on the bots to take them by surprise while you two distract those two,” Adora said to the two Twigglets,    who also had retreated their heads out of the bush. “But you can’t use any pepper bombs, if It was just Hordak and Catra it’d be fine. But we don’t want to get the Queen with them.” “Oh, that makes sense,” Sprocker said, his bow already knocked back with an arrow that had a bag of black dust attached to it. The dust was usually really useful for dealing with the Horde, as it made the living members go into a coughing  fit and blocked the vision of robots.

And it didn’t but She-Ra at all, but she was worried about the Queen getting a lungful of the dust. The large Twigglet pulled the arrow away and reached down grabbing some rocks. “We’ll do this the old-fashioned way then.” They said with a smirk.” “Sounds good, go ahead and get started,” She-Ra ordered as she got up and went to get to a better angle to go and get the Queen. And the lady quickly heard the grunts of the two villains as they were hit.

“Oh blasted woodland dwellers!” She-Ra heard Hordak yell and the pew-pew of the different lasers blast. “Gotta try harder than that, Bored-ak!” Sprag taunted as they continued to toss rocks and dodge the laser blast. When She-Ra got a good distance away she popped her head out and smirked seeing most of the robots had joined Hordak in shooting at Sprag and Sprocker . Only leaving two robots to keep an eye on the girl, and they weren’t even looking at the girl, but at the battle in front of them. So she snuck up behind the girl and quickly but softly covered the Queen's mouth with her hand.

“Queen Kidra, don’t fear I’m here to help.” She whispered to the royal, trying to make sure that the Queen didn’t freak out. After a second the girl relaxed her body as she turned to face her savior. “Let me and my friends handle this lot. You go ahead and continue to castle Brightmoon.”    She said, holding her finger up to her mouth to make sure the Queen understood that she needed to be quiet. The royal nodded her head before running off, somehow not making a sound even as she dove into the forest. But with the Queen safe, the princess decided to have some fun.

Standing up straight she put her elbows on each of the robots. “Aren’t the lights absolutely lovely?” She asked the bots, her hands shooting up to the robot's heads crashing them together , and watching them drop to the ground. “Sorry to drop in unannounced Hordak,” She-Ra said, pulling her sword out, getting the group's new attention. “She-Ra!” Hordak declared, pointing at the lady with his finger before lifting his canon arm up and trying to shoot a blast of energy at the lady. “She-Ra, where?” The Princess of Power asked, looking around before looking like she just realized something. “Oh wait, that’s me.” She said as she held her sword up, the man’s energy blast deflecting off of it. “Oh no, I brought a sword to a blaster fight.”

She said, swinging her sword, and sighing as she approached the group. “Ok guys, pepper bombs are good!” She-Ra announced. “About time!” Sprag called out and after a second two small arrows flew out of the trees and hit the ground. Immediately a black fog erupted from the ground, making Hordak and Catra start to hack and cough. The robots started firing their lasers in different directions, most of which were shot into the sky as if She-Ra had gained the ability to fly. If she had her alicorn steed Swiftwind she would be able to. But since it was just her she was stuck to the ground.

But with her enemies blinded She-Ra took the chance to take care of her enemies. Rushing into the fog and slicing her sword and the bots that were lost, covering them clean in two, and then popping out and slicing the hovercraft in the same manner. By the time the black fog cleared, She-Ra had left just Catra and Hordak standing, now without any backup or rides. “Walking is better for you than constantly    driving everywhere,” She-Ra said, smiling and waving as she stood in front of one of the cleaved hovercrafts, a bright orange fire blazing behind her, the crimson red cape around her shoulders fluttering as the hot air pushed it up.

“She-Ra!” Horak spat, holding his canon up to the princess, “You’ve foiled my plans for the final time! I will not stand for you making a fool of the Horde anymore.” He said before snapping his fingers and Catra jumped to her boss's side, her sharp fingernails out and ready to swing. “Yes, I am qqqqquite sick of being humiliated,” Catra growled, reaching her hands up to her helmet, and pulling it down to her face. “Mroooo-ooooaaaar!” The lady started to meow like a cat, but as she placed the helmet over her face, making it more of a mask, she instantly dropped to the ground. Her body morphed into a large purple jaguar, its large yellow fangs bared as drool shot out of Catra’s mouth. Before anyone could react the large feline lunged through the air at She-Ra.

                                                                                                                                   Part six

“Bad kitty!” She-Ra said, grabbing Catra midair by the scuff of her neck, spinning around in a circle, and tossing her towards the castle that was surrounded by dark brown smog. She clapped her hands to knock away any dust before looking at Hordak. “Would you also like the express trip home?” She asked him with a smirk. “Oh um...” Hordak said, flinching as he looked around and saw that he was all alone before growling, “You’re lucky that I have other things that need my attention or I would take care of you right here!” He insisted before he stood up straight, his arms flat at his side before in a flash of white light he suddenly changed into a rocket that matched the man's blue skin and black armor. The tip of the rocket was pale white like the man’s face and after a second the small rocket took off, heading toward the smog sky She-Ra had sent Catra.

“Well, that takes care of that,” She-Ra said, planting her fist against her hips as Sprag and Sprocket walked out of the woods. “Yeah and not a moment too soon.” Sprag said pointing up at the sun, “We don’t have a moment to spare. The festival is going to start any minute, I hope Queen Kidra got to the camp okay.” “I’m sure if she stayed in the Whispering Woods she would have made it there on time.” The princess assured them. “You’re probably right She-Ra,” Sprocket said, scratching his head as they looked around. “I wonder what happened to Adora, I thought she was going to help us.” “Oh, I told her to stay back,” She-Ra explained, “I figured the fewer people disappearing the better. We didn’t want anyone at Castle Brightmoon to get suspicious and start to worry.”

This explanation seemed to be good enough for the Twiggets as they nodded their head and spurted some agreement to it. “Now let's hurry back to the Castle before people start to wonder where we are.” “Does that mean more running?” Sprocker asked with a sigh. “My savior!” Queen Kidra announced as she saw She-Ra and the two Twiggets walk back to the camp. Since it wasn’t a life-or-death    situation now She-Ra, Sprag, and Sprocker had decided to walk back to the castle. They knew they were probably going to be a little bit late for the start, but this way they wouldn’ t need to worry about Sprockers well being and his passing out on the way to the castle.

“I d-did not get t-t-the chance to thank y-y-you properly .” The little Queen said, approaching She-Ra and giving a bow. “I-if it hadn’t been f-for you w-wh-who knows what t-those brutes would have d-d-d-done    to me!” She exclaimed. “It was no problem, your majesty.” She-Ra assured Kidra, “I’m just glad that we were able to get to you before anything happened. Though I wish we would have gotten there sooner. From what I heard you did a number on the Hordes numbers on your own.” “Oh, I-I-I didn’t-t do anything. I-it was a-a-all an accident.” She assured everyone, her pale cheeks tinting red as she sheepishly dug the tip of her boot into the ground, her hands behind her back. Looking just like a little kid who had been given a huge compliment and didn’t know what to do about it.

“That's not how the Horde will see it.” A new voice chimed in, this voice more regal than anyone else, and Queen Angella walked out of the doors to the castle. The queen is in her normal pink leotard and light blue tights, a set of large white wings closed on her back. “Queen Kidra, it is good to see you, my old friend.” She said, walking up and bowing to the other queen. “Yes, it’s been many winters since I’ve seen you, Queen Angella,” Kidra said, also bowing when she faced her friend. “I was heartbroken when I learned of your capture and was relieved to get word that you were not only ok but you had been freed.” She explained as she stood up straight.

And after a second of the two looking at each other, they quickly embraced each other in a hug. Angella got on her keens to make it less awkward, but it looked like an adult hugging a child. Not two rulers and friends saying hello for the first time in years. “I’m sorry I wasn’t able to do anything to aid in your rescue.” “It’s no problem Queen Kidra,” Angella assured her small friend, “As a queen you need to put the needs of your people first, and without knowing where I was it would have been foolish to risk your people.” She said, knowing that her friend did feel bad about not being able to help her. But there wasn’t a lot anyone could have done.

For starters, her location had been hidden for the longest time, and then it took two powerful heroes to free her. It wasn’t a situation
anyone could have taken care of. “I’m just glad you accepted my invitation. My daughter and her friends have been working hard on this festival for us all to enjoy and it means the world that you showed up.” “Daughter?” Kidra asked looking confused at first before her eyes shot wide open. “Ah yes, I remember from your letters. Glimmer was it?” She asked. “That is correct your majesty.” Glimmer said, appearing    from behind her mother, bowing to the queen. “It's an honor to meet my mother's friend.”

“My you’re grown women.” Kidra gasped seeing the girl, “Last I read you were just a child. Though I guess that was many years ago. But the honor is mine Princess Glimmer and I thank you for all the hard work that you’ve done to make sure that this party was ready for my
arrival. And I think it would be a shame to let it go to waste, so let us enjoy it!” The queen cheered. “I think that is a fantastic idea.” Angella said, her wings opening up as she raised a hand in the air, “Let the festivities begin!” And with that, everyone separated and started to play the games that had been set up. “I wish I could stay and enjoy them,” She-Ra said as she approached the two rulers, “But I will have to take my leave and make sure no others are being harassed by the Horde.”

She explained. “I understand.” Angella said with a smile to the princess, “Thank you for saving the guest of honor.” She said. “Yes, it probably would not have been good for me if you would not have showed up.” The queen admitted. “Don’t sell yourself short Queen Kidra.” She-Ra said, “Even with a small stature you have more power than you know. You must not let a little thing like little stop you. You managed to take out Horde bots and a hovercraft on your own. It may have been an accident, but that means you can do it and more on purpose.” She encouraged    the queen as she walked off, heading into the Whispering Woods once more, making sure she was a good distance away, the cheering almost nonexistent as she slipped her sword back into its sheath.

Which caused the electric feeling in her blood to fade as she turned back into Adora. “Hopefully my absence wasn’t too noticeable.” She said to herself as she headed back to the castle. Where everyone was still busy partying away. People were in line for games, watching a puppet show, and eating the food that had been cooked for most of the day. There was a ring toss game where people were taking turns and tossing grey metal over a glass milk bottle, a dark game where you had to toss a sharp dart at a board, trying to get the darts into the middle ring, and even a disk throwing contest to see who could throw a stone disk the furthest.

Adora figured that her friend ‘Bow’ would try and beat all of the games and would do so almost easily. The carrot top man was one of the most competitive    people that she knew, and thankfully he didn’t let his victories go to his head. But all these games would be an absolute
calk walk for him. “Adora, there you are.” Glimmer huffed as she walked up to the blond. “Skipped out on helping set up after you got done with sweeping? And I thought Kowl was the only one I needed to keep an eye on.” She said.

“Oh I’m sorry Glimmer -.” Adora started to say before noticing Glimmer starting to giggle and gently slapped Adora’s arm. “I’m kidding Adora,” She assured the girl, “I know you went to tell She-Ra about Queen Kidra. I wish you would have told me or Bow about it so we could have helped out though.” “Oh, I’m sorry Glimmer but I figured you had enough on your plate to deal with.” She said with a small grin, “Plus you know She-Ra can handle almost anything!” “I guess that's true, but still.” Glimmer said shrugging her shoulders, “It probably would have been good to know something was going on in case something    bad did happen.

But there's no point in crying about it now. Let's just enjoy the festival!” She said, grabbing her friend by the hand and dragging her forward, “ After you meet our guest.” She said as they approached Queen Angella and Queen Kidra. “Oh right,” Adora said as they stopped, the blond immediately bowing. “Queen Kidra, it is an honor to finally meet you.” She said, “My name is Adora.” “The pleasure is mine, Adora,” Kidra said frowning as she looked at the girl. “Forgive me, but have we met somewhere before? You seem... familiar .” The queen said. “I don’t think so, your majesty .” The girl said, “I’ve never been to your village, and from my understanding, this is the first time you’ve been to the castle in years.”

She reminded the little royal. “This much is true, but still.” The queen said, continuing to look the girl over, trying to figure out why Adora looked familiar. “Speaking of knowing people,” Adora said, trying to change the subject, “How do you know Queen Angella? If I can ask of course.” She asked. “Oh, that old story?” Kidra said, a smirk growing on her face, “Would you like to tell Queen Angella?” “I think I can manage that,” Angella said with a giggle as she took a deep breath in and started to recount the tale.

                                                                                                            Part seven

“I was just a little girl at the time, probably 8 or 9 years old myself, and I was eager to go on an adventure. So against my mother’s wishes, I flew away from my home and above the whispering woods. This was long before the Horde was a problem for us so I wasn’t concerned about anyone trying to blast me down from the sky or imprison me, so I wasn’t paying attention to what was in the forest. I knew the Whispering Woods was home to all sorts of beasts but I thought if I stayed above the trees I would be safe.

Sadly, I was wrong about that.” She sighed, looking up at the sky, which was now orange as the sun was setting off in the distance, reliving the memory. “And suddenly a blast of fire appeared in front of me, forcing me to make a tight turn. But the fire managed to get a bit of my wing sending me crashing to the ground.” She continued on, “Where I was face to face with a giant green dragon, and sadly I was no match for it. I was injured and with no weapon to defend myself.” “T-thankfully that's w-w-where I come in!” Queen Kidra said, “I-I was tasked with m-m-making sure that d-dragon left. I-it was dangerously cl-close to m-my kingdom.

I-I was just a princess a-at the time and my m-mother tasked me w-with getting r-rid of the d-d-dragon.” She said, stuttering as she told the story like she was nervous about recalling the event. “I-I had stink fruits w-with me. A small fruit t-t-that smells like r-rotten meat d-d-d-dipped in bad eggs.” She said with a smirk “Yes, the stink fruits.” Angella sighed as rubbed her forehead, “Too bad your aim wasn’t as convenient as your timing to save me. I got hit in the face with one of those fruits. I smelled like I hadn’t showered, and it lasted for a week. I was worried that my sense of smell would never be the same.”

“W-whoops.” Was all Kidra had to say to her friend, giving a childish grin and giggle as she looked at her friend. “But nevertheless, she was able to drive the beast away with those horrendous fruits,” Angella said with an eye roll. “She took me to her kingdom to recover and the rest of it is history,” Angella said with a smile as she patted the other queen's shoulder. “We both made a new friend that day in the most unlikely place.” “Y-yeah, and n-now that y-y-you are back, I-I expect more l-letters.” Queen Kidra said, putting her small hand on top of Angella’ s, making Adora smile. It was clear that the two had a strong friendship, despite being so far apart and the silence that the two had to deal with.

It reminded Adora of her and her brother Adam. Though he was in a different dimension they were apart, she knew that they would be there for each other when the moment counted. Which was good because they had been separated a lot longer than the two queens. They had only been separated for a few years, while Adora and Adam had been separated for almost their entire lives. But now that they knew they existed they were as close as they could be. Thinking of him, Adora looked around at the festival, wondering if her brother would have liked it and how the festivals in his world went.

He had shared tales with her about birthday parties he had, different holidays he celebrated with their parents, and the festivals he went to. Then their mom had even shared a few stories about the holidays she celebrated with her family on the planet Earth, the place she was originally from. Adroa had celebrated Christmas with her family, they even saved a couple of children who were from Earth. It had been a wild day that was for sure, as they traveled between her brother's world and her world trying to get the proper materials to get the kids back to their home before their Christmas started. Hordak, Hoard Prime, Hordak's brother and the one who was truly in charge of everything, and Skeletor, the evil skull-faced villain who threatened her brother's planet, had even tried to stop them. But the villain of her brother ’s world had a moment of kindness and saved the day for them.

But the thought of all the festivals that she missed did sadden Adora, how many times did her parents have to put on a brave face on her birthday just to not worry her brother? How many Christmases did they cry over her absence? How long would it be that those things wouldn’ t be an issue anymore? “Wow, you’re really good at this Kidra,” Angella said, making Adora look up and see that the two queens had moved on, and Kidra was at the ring toss game. Three rings had made it onto a bleach-white glass jar. “You’ve improved since the dragon incident.”

“I was merely a child then, Angella.” Kindra scoffed with an eye roll, “Of course, my aim has improved. Or maybe it’s always been this well and I hit you on purpose that day.” She suggested with another smirk, which made Adora smile as well. She could worry about all the other stuff later. She had missed out on plenty of parties and festivities when she was with the Horde, and she didn’t want to miss out on anymore. Plus Glimmer turned into a dictator and almost had a heart attack trying to get all of this together . It would be rude to not try and enjoy it.

“I will admit, Queen Kidra, I did have an alternative motive for inviting you here,” Angella said to the other queen as they walked past the different stands. “I want to ask that you consider joining the resistance.” She said, making the other royal stop. “I’ll be h-honest, I knew that's why y-y-you invited me here today.” Kidra admitted, “A-a-and    if it would h-h-have been at the s-s-start of the day. I-I would h-have said n-no.” The queen admitted looking at the ground. “I-I thought t-t-this was all just a-a waste of t-time. I-It got you k-k-kidnapped and m-m-made me lose my f-friend.” She said. “B-b-but after w-w-what I witnessed today, h-how can I turn my back a-a-and act like this ‘H-Horde’ isn’t a problem.”

She said, remembering back on how the weird Cat lady just threw her in the weird vehicle, the strange metal men who followed her orders without question, and their leader ‘Hordak’ who yelled at the commander because Kidra managed to destroy the robots and hovercraft on accident. The way that she was threatened and had to behave or she would be in big trouble. Thankfully the group seemed like they weren’t exactly the brightest crew and mistook her for the princess. She doubted that she would have survived through the day if they knew that she was indeed the ruler of the Youth Locked people.

Or at the very least she wouldn’ t be there at the party, free to leave whenever she felt like it. “S-so yes, you h-have my support in t-t-this fight. W-we need to work-k together to free our p-planet f-from those jerks.” She said with a head nod. “A-as long as y-y-you all don’t mind us s-short stuffs showing y-y-you giants up.” She joked. “I welcome it.” Angella said with a chuckle, “As long as you aim the stink fruit at the enemy and not us.” She joked as they turned to the rest of the stands they had to check out. There was still a night of fun ahead of them, the details about the Youth Locks joining the resistance could wait for one night. Now was the time to have some fun.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone, it’s me, She-Ra. In today’s adventure, we saw that the little ruler Kidra had found herself in quite a pickle. Having been caught by Catra with no friends by her side to help her. Thankfully the queen was able to get away safely at the end of the day, but it was only after she had some help. Remember, if you’re going to be traveling a long way away it’s always a good idea to travel with a friend or loved one, or at least let someone know where you are going and when they should expect you. That way if something happens someone can do something or call the proper authorities. Until next time, see ya!

Hey everyone cute little kokiri girl here just wanted to say I'm happy that people have read the stories and have downloaded the youthlock template and like the description says you can use that template to make your own stories or RPs or whatever out of it, it's free to use for everyone. Anyway would like to hear your thoughts on this latest story and the youthlock template as well as hear any suggestions for future YL stories, they could be based on whatever, like classic cartoons like the Care Bears and She-ra or something else.
