messyman
Not that I really intend to try this but would an epidural given as low as posible be a viable temporary incontinence treatment? The very bottom nerves apparently are for the sphincter and epidurals basically turn them off. Link to comment
babyalan
It's drug to numb pain so you feel less pain so maybe but why would you ? Yikes Link to comment
Babypants
You are confusing an epidural, which is a spinal anesthetic, with a pudendal nerve block. I doubt if you would ever find a physician to perform this. The pudendal nerve is the one that interests you, and you may already be damaging it in ways that weaken bladder and/or bowel control over the long haul. Read up on pudendal nerve entrapment, which is also known as bicyclist's syndrome. Just sitting at a desk for too many hours over a long stretch of time can do it. If you experience a burning sensation in your rectum when you sit for a meaningful length of time, then there's a good chance that you are experiencing PNE. 1 Link to comment
