It’s on hot summer nights like this that my mind finds thoughts that lead to questions. Maybe you can help me answer them?

He can see the bliss not only in your face, but in your body. You lay cradled in his arms. You could be anywhere else you wanted to be. You could be cruising the town on a girls’ night out. You could be in bed reading a book. You could be on the phone with a friend or a relative. You could be anywhere else, but you’re not. And lying in his arms is the only place you want to be right now.

As you continue to watch him, you’ve paid no attention to his right hand which has slipped under your nightie and is now tickling the daylights out of your tummy. You toss your feet up in the air as you struggle through laughter to get him to stop. It just a small moment of time, but one of many that makes the connection you have with him so very precious and endearing.

He gently traces your eyebrows with his fingers, and he replaces the pacifier in your mouth that you dropped while laughing at his tickle treatment of you. Lively, silly moments easily submit to the quieter, calmer ones with a tender caress.

So this thought brought about a question…….What’s the reason that two people in a situation like this remain?

I believe that deep inside both daddy's and baby girls or parent and baby is the knowlege that this is a special moment where they can share a side of their personality that they can't show anyone else. This side is shown out of love and trust by both parties. This shows the deepest level of careing for someone when it is done right in a relationship. This is some what exciting too because it is taboo in society's eyes for a daddy to lue outside in the star light in the hour of twilight holding his baby girl in a moment of pure love for one another.

The simple desire for a man to protect his woman and provide for her no matter what. Same goes for their children. If you mix the two, it's a stronger effect, with the upsides of protecting and caressing the love of your life as if you would your very own child. After all, at the core, your love for your child is the same as the love for your significant other, you just have a sexual/romantic side to the significant other.

And it's the same for women, they want to be loved. Having anyone take care of you is definatly a bonus.

So it's really not all that odd if you think about it. You just have to get past the mental block of that kind of relationship not being normal to society.
