Evelyn is in a small town in Oregon in present day America, or is it present day, or is it even really America?
Evelyn is starting the sixth grade at a middle school in somewhere little town Oregon, and strange things are in store this year.

Wait, is this really Science class?
What in the hell is this little 11 or 12 year old learning?

Dodge ball in PE, but what in the world is this with a red ball on each side of the court and at the start of the game, having to run up and be fast enough to get a blue ball for your side, and there being 6 blue balls on the center line?  What in the world did that ball just do to the person that was frozen there?  Wait, did the PE teacher even just see what the kids did on that team to a member of their own team?  What is that about?

The vice principal likes the word Detention, and he likes yelling it in an intimidating rough voice that seems to echo down the hall.  Speaking of detention, what in the world kind of school is this?  There are bars on three sides of each separated desk area with just one open space towards the center of the room where the teacher's desk is, and then a single path leading to the door?  What is that about?  okay, so the bars don't look like they impede movement in and out of the space much, but still, is it legal to put bars in a school like this?

The girl's mother seems somewhat normal if not the kindest and most considerate of listeners to her daughter's problems.  Evelyn can't seem to get anything right or good enough for her mom, though her mom dotes on her older brother like he is perfect.  it seems like her mom is never happy unless she's scolded Evelyn for at least one thing each day, has had an argument with her dad at least once that day, and then has relaxed at the end of the day with a glass of wine.

If all this other stuff wasn't enough to drive an eleven or twelve year old girl crazy, then there are the bullies at school, Paula, Angela, and Barbara have had it in for her since the third grade, though Evelyn doesn't really know what happened at that time that put her on their hate list.  And if that's not enough, there are two boys in her class that seem to be hanging around Paula and her two goonies, both of which seem to think her and anyone she hangs around deserves the wrath of Paula.  The boys are Scott the tallest and most powerful boy in her class, as far as she can tell, and a short little boy that looks barely tall enough to be considered a middle school kid, but boy is he crafty.  His name is quite unusual too, Gnugg?

Wait, now, if everything is already looking crazy for Evelyn and quite all over the place, then she does find out that she does have a little influence at school, there being a couple of boys and a couple of girls that are starting to notice that the bullies are targeting her on everything....

 

Okay, I know, too much at once, right?

Evelyn, a very special character who is in the 6th grade with a brother name Ben in high school and a mom and dad, has just started middle school on day one, and the first thing she finds out, is that middle school is going to be quite a confusing and quite a hard place to grasp.  The first thing that happens on day one, first thing in the morning, students are escorted through the school main building, out a side door into the courtyard, and into the gymnasium which has lunch tables out, so all the sixth graders of this small down and surrounding areas can be seated and look up at the stage where the vice principal is looking at the kids over a podium, and there are other adults sitting in chairs on stage....

Looking for someone that would be willing to play a girl that is trying to "grow up" but keeps having set backs in "growing up" caused by her over protective father, by her mother who is always disappointed in her, by bullies that seem to make her seem like she is not very mature and how has a problem acting her age in many different ways by the pranks that is played on her, and then sometimes, by her own over emotional and difficult to train body.

In all the antics that is going on, there is something else to discover, something that is "magical" that will reveal itself as part of the story.

I want someone that will only tell the story through Evelyn's point of view, and will respond to the stimulus around her.  Of course, someone that has some motivation for Evelyn, some idea of a cool character concept that is NOT baby in any way shape or form, but more a normal child that is going through difficult times as bullies trick her, her mom scolds her, she is unfairly given detention at school, but then to soften these blows, she has a daddy that calls her daddy's girl, a brother that is always on her side, a few friends that trust her and who want to hang with her regardless of the bully's carp and what they rumor around the school about her, and together, Evelyn and her friends discover more to their world than they thought they would ever believe the world could be like.

Of course, Evelyn will have a mix of losing control of her own body at times, and some pranks where the bullies makes her look like she's wet or even pooped her pants on occasion.  There will be other antics where she is caught at the wrong place at the wrong time and blamed for things, and she will feel the heat of several people, not only her own mom, who wonders if she really is mature enough to be a middle school girl because of things that just go against her here and there.  So, nothing in the wettings or pooping pants includes diapers, and nothing will include her being treated any differently than a middle school student who for whatever reason that the people witnessing it will think of a middle school student who has just sat there and peed or pooped her pants....

I understand that this is not a normal thing here, and some may not want to follow this story, but maybe someone.

I would like the story to focus on Evelyn being the main character, so I would like Evelyn's actions, her thoughts, and her words to all be spelled out in most every post, as much as the writer who joins me in this story can do.  I do not want someone that just literally looks for a minimum and writes just that.  No one liners.  I'm sorry if it feels like I am chasing off those of you who have issues that makes writing more difficult, but honestly, I've tried it, and I cannot have fun with someone that just isn't into writing more than a verbal response or a simple action made by a a character, and then expects something more from my end.  I need someone that can get into Evelyn's head, and actually make her come to life in the story so I can build a world around her.

www.dnddiceroller.com will be used a bit for some story based rolls so we can keep some events a little bit thrilling and surprising rather than just declaring an action successful or a failure out of hand and leave it a little bit to chance.  This will include some actions that Evelyn herself actively tries, and some actions that are attempted upon her by bullies and what not, so the bullies will not always be successful in pulling off getting her seat wet on her and making it look like she wet herself when they want.  The could even get caught by her or her friends, as dice rolls could indicate.  Of course, there is no way to check dice rolls, so I won't know if you fudged a dice roll or not, but you know, if you do, really, you are just forcing the story to go one way in line with that, than what the dice say, and if you want to do that, I can't necessarily stop you, except that if I start suspecting you cheating because too many high or low rolls, then... I might look for someone else as I would like the chance to be there as a part of the story telling element.

So using the dice roller is pretty forward and easy.  You will see an example type of roll in the white box, and you can change the number of dice and the type of dice, being a 1-4 type, a 1-6 type, a 1-8 type, a 1-10 type, a 1-12 type, and a 1-20 type.  There is also percentage, I believe.

 

Evelyn character:
roll 3d6+3  six times for the character, and then arrange them how you want to play Evelyn.  She will have physical attributes:  Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution and she will have Mental/social attributes:  Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma.
First come first serve is not necessarily the way I want to make this one roll:  I want to have some idea that you are invested in this, if you are going to do this, so I will ask anyone that wants to rp this one to type up some information about her fifth grade year, the year before this story starts, show shows her relationship with her mother, her father, her brother, and the lead bully, Paula.  On top of that, I want 3 thought out responses to possible events in the fifth grade, that shows her reaction and what happened to her, and how she processed the information.  Each to be written as if you are responding three different times to a scenario, so I can see what to expect from you in a response.  Yes, I'm afraid this is sort of gate keeping, because I want someone that will think about the story and about who Evelyn, the character you are trying to show and not necessarily just you, is, and I want to be able to see how or why she did something other than what would be obvious.

We will talk about how you want to play Evelyn, and then we will figure out how hard she can be hit before she is unable to react in any more of a way than to just cry or perhaps fall exhausted or unconscious from something.  We will also determine how easy or hard ti is to physically touch her based on what you say and on your dexterity score you put on her, and then there will be other things add as the role play will turn a little bit into a fantasy sort of world a little bit further in, if you keep my interest in the story enough with showing who Evelyn as played by you is like.

The first morning of middle school, it is up to you if she wakes up in a wet bed or not, like if she has always wet the bed so far or not, but other than that, there are no other tale tells that this is a baby forum type story for probably most of the story.

In case anyone is interested in a group story, I am willing to have the friends' stories also be included in this, as separate characters, but we'll discuss that if I can first find an Evelyn character I am happy with.
