house found a use for guards

I was sitting in the living and started hearing a drip drip coming from the fireplace, which has a wood surround. I pulled off the side, which had wood paneling and one of sheetrock to find a wet floor board and dripping from the ceiling.  ughhhhhhhh.  Those Up and Up Male Guards came in handy.  

I've had everyone come out and most just add roofing sealant around the chimney chase on the roof.  One suggested to do it right and rebuild the whole thing.  So, I've been trying to find someone to do that, but no one seems to want to do it.  uggghhh.  And this roof is only four years old (the guys who put it on came out and ...added more sealant).

Change after every rain...

Just make sure you use cream so it doesnt get a rash ?. But its the same where I live. Had a chiminy leak and nobody wanted to come out let alone fix it. Frusturating

My roof leaked, so I went on top and removed moss.

Moss will lead water inside.
