scaifester
I was curious to hear from members of the forum who have urge incontinence whether their incontinence has stayed the same or if it has gotten worse. And why do you think it has gotten worse? Link to comment
SashaButters
Hard to say, but I think it's not as big of a problem for me now since covid. Not much of a reason for me to leave the house, so I am free to use the bathroom as soon as the urge strikes. It was a much bigger problem when I was working as a delivery driver. Link to comment
steve in diaps
I think mine has gotten worse. As I improve and get more strength I am more active. Since I don't get the signals to go to the bathroom. I may only have 5 to 15 min warning. The pressure is already high and may be seeping. This can be bowel or bladder or both. If I'm active I may not be as aware until it's too late. Also physical activity adds to leakage. Lifting, pushing, changing positions. Driving I am also less aware as well, pressure on nerves I guess. With nerve damage it's anybody guess. If it's a problem you might try timed bladder voids. If it's very bad have a talk with your doctor. I asked about having new nerve test to see where I'm at or if I should change my activities. They tell it is what it is and will deal with what ever comes up when it does. Link to comment
