A chance meeting (private with Gavin)

[lebeau13]

He hears her tummy rumble and honks it due to hunger. “Okay, if you say you aren’t hungry then I believe you. “Just wait in here while I get you more juice then.“

He leaves the nursery and heads back to the kitchen and starts to make some French toast.

[Gavin]

She blushes and she really needs to poop but she doesn't say it and keeps holding it in

[lebeau13]

He makes the French toast in the kitchen and as he finishes he cuts up a piece and puts it on a plastic plate. He then fills another sippy cup with some water and sets both the plate and the cup on the kitchen table and hen goes back to the nursery.

As he enters the room he smiles and waves to the girl. “I made some yummy food, do you want to try some?”

She doesn't trust him and is in the corner of the crib balled up still not trusting at all really not wanting anything from him

He sees she is still in the back of her crib and doesn’t say anything as he walks back out of the room and to the kitchen. He grabs the plate and the cup and walks back into the nursery with them, the smell is overwhelming to him and thus must be to her as well. “You sure you no want food?”

[Gavin]

She smells it and her tummy growles and she whines but tightens her ball she's in not wanting to accept anything from him or owe him anything 

[lebeau13]

He smiles and comes closer to the crib and slides open the little hatch and slides in the new sippy cup with water. As he pushes it in he asks her “can I have the old cup so you can have this one?”

[Gavin]

She unballs sliding the cup over to him and drinks the water quickly feeling better but after attempts to go back to her corner 

[lebeau13]

He gets the old cup and takes it with him but not after sliding in the little plate with one piece of french toast cut up into the crib. “Eat up, it’s yummy.” He leaves the room so she isn’t nervous to eat in front of him.

[Gavin]

She sits up and eats it quickly but she then just starts crying out loud realizing she can't see her parents or any of her friends and no one else understands her 

[lebeau13]

He thinks she is crying cause she is still hungry so he makes another piece of French toast and cuts it up and takes it to her. “Want more food?” He asks as he enters the room and sees she is curled up crying, his heart breaks and comes towards her “want a hug little one?”

[Gavin]

She backs away from him not wanting to be touched as she misses her mom who was her best friend but doesn't have the energy to try and yell or try and speak English and just mumbles in Japanese she misses her mom

[lebeau13]

“Ok, no touch.” He says as he takes the empty plate away and replaces it with a place that has the piece of French toast on it for her.

”more food for you” he says as he closes the hatch and then leaves the room with the empty plate.

[Gavin]

She just eats it not caring as she cries harder and just burries her face into her hands upset 

[lebeau13]

He comes back and needs to check her diaper since it’s been on so long. He opens up the side and asks her “can you come here so we can go potty?”

[Gavin]

She doesn't want to get near him but scoots over still clean in the diaper luckily 

[lebeau13]

He smiles at her “I no reach you, can you come closer please.” 

[Gavin]

She whines and scoots over a little more very gently not wanting to be touched or picked up and would probably fuss or whine when touched

[lebeau13]

He asks her as she is still a bit too far from him to reach her “you need potty?”

[Gavin]

She nods slowly not wanting to use her diaper because she is still a grown up at heart and using a diaper sounds really gross to her

[lebeau13]

He nods and has an idea “Okay, let’s go to the potty then” he holds out his arms so he can take her to the bathroom

[Gavin]

She whines and scoots over as far as she can go not wanting to be picked up but she has no choice its either that or use the diaper 

[lebeau13]

He slowly and gently picks her up out of the crib. As he walks to the bathroom he doesn’t rub or pat her back, he just holds onto her so she can’t fall.

They get to the bathroom and he opens the lid of the potty and sits her on the toilet without ever taking off her diaper or even her sleeper.

[Gavin]

She blushes and can do things by herself but points to the back of the zipper wanting it undone 

[lebeau13]

The sleeper has a tiny padlock on it so he knows she can’t undo it. “Sorry, big girls use their diapers in this house.” He says as he steps out of the bathroom just out of the open doorway so she can have some sense of privacy.
