From Bully to Babysitter (private with Ben1989)

To say that Sam was excited was an understatement. He was about to get his house to himself for an entire summer while his mother traveled across the country for work. He couldn’t wait to have the whole place to himself and get to do what he wanted for 3 whole months.

 

For other 21 year olds this may not have seemed like such a big deal but for Sam it was practically a miracle. He was very small for his age standing just below 5 feet tall and he looked extremely young. It was not uncommon for people to mistake him for a child under 10. He found this endlessly frustrating and it was probably also the reason his mother was so protective of him. She never let him get his driver’s license and would pick him up and drop him off at the community collage he attended and more often then not she insisted he do online classes so she could “keep an eye on him” he hated this treatment but knew he was loved.

 

He looked in the mirror and sighed at the said looked blond child staring back at him. How could he blame his mother and the world for the way they treated him when he looked like a blond toddler. His mother always said he looked like a baby angel. He hated that!

 

But that was all about to change. Sam was about to get to live like a true adult for the first time. 

 

Sam looked out the window and saw his 16 year old neighbor Dave heading toward their house. He wondered if he was coming over for some reason. He hoped not, despite being almost 6 years younger Dave was way taller than Sam. He looked and acted like a grownup and seemed to love teasing sam about his babyish appearance and small size. Sam was also very jealous of the freedom Dave was given, the fact that he was viewed by all as an adult and his newly acquired driver’s license.

 

Sam waited to see where Dave was going

A week earlier Dave had come home from school to hear his mom talking to her friend in the lounge and while making himself a sandwich he heard that she was looking for someone she could trust to watch her son. At first Dave couldn’t believe what he was hearing as he knew her son was 21 but after listening he started thinking. He always enjoyed any chance he got to tease her son and this was the perfect chance.

he walked into the lounge hi ma’am I heard you were looking for a babysitter for Sam and I’d be happy to watch the little boy I’ve lots of experience he smiled when sams mom said yes and he agreed he’d babysit him for starting the following Saturday so a week later on the Saturday he went over to sams house.

on arrival sams mom let him in.

”sam sweetie can you come down stairs for mommy” she shouted up,

Sam shock himself “oh a coming mama” he closed his eyes “mom” he corrected. He looked at himself he realized that dispute the fact that it was only mid afternoon  he was wearing hand me down pajamas from his younger cousin. They were covered in Mickey Mouse but he didn’t care it was only his mom after all. He went running down stairs and into the living room “what’s up mommy”
