New Amazon Kindle Story - Diaper Plague: The New Normal

My latest book, Diaper Plague: The New Normal, is available on Amazon in Kindle format. I’ve stopped doing paperbacks for the time. They sell so few. This is the second installment of the Diaper Plague series.

Each book is a slice of life of someone that has lived through the pandemic or was born into the new world that evolves from all women suffering the ravages of the disease.

The blurb:

After Patient 0, all the other women in the world soon had to deal with a need for diapers.

This is the story of Bobbie Jo. She tells her view of history when women had to wear diapers in the horrible time of the disease that wiped out their ability to hold their bladders. Bobbie Jo was lucky, she kept bowel control, but most women suffered a complete loss of toileting skills.

Her daughter was one of the unlucky ones. Her daughter caught it first and Bobbie Jo contracted it soon after. Both of them were diaper dependent until scientists could develop a cure, if there was a cure at all. The world was well on the way to all women being incontinent and needing diapers. Men were not affected and they took advantage of it.

Things changed, and not for the better. Women became second-class citizens. Their rights eroded and things reverted to a male-dominated society where women could no longer hold office or vote. Going to college was no longer an option. Men assumed the lord and master position of the women in their households.

Women tried to fight back, but the weaker sex was ill equipped to wage a war in diapers. Men passed ever stiffer laws to keep women from asserting any power. Soon, they locked women in diapers, unable to manage their own changes.

Men made the laws and women had to live by them.
