Incomplete Dude
I've shamelessly borrowed the thread idea from the forums at tbdl.org, and just as shamelessly, I'm reposting some of my poems here: Seasons A life once lived blows gently in the breeze, Tree branches creek with the sound of old knees. Long since past have the birds and the bees, Winter's come with its deep freeze. And alone, I walk, with this ancestral tune, As my cold breath clouds around the moon. Who's very rays allow sight of this woody swoon, Still-living markers of knowledge past noon. Now, listen closely as the wind whispers true, Its ancient wisdom clears the young view, And its gentle call brings warm sun on cue. In succession, life begins anew. Flow Flow wind, over ocean waves, Flow water, through honeycomb caves, Flow people, over crowded raves, Flow thoughts, through mastered ways, Flow... Pain I bleed the truth With the mind of Knuth Thoughts twisted inwards Become Rage's vineyards At the Mirror I stand Ready, my icy hand I rip flesh from bone To see who's home No soul is found So to Hell, I pound Stomping irate The God of Hate Manson is foe With friendly glow Makes you his b**** With the dead twitch Released from pain All the insane These Words disturbed Show evil perturbed As I sit here waiting For this endless grating My heart's own torture My self-directed mortar.
