Cody quickly went and got the matching little socks to go with it. “ here you go and you won’t be in trouble because your not the teacher you need to get that through your little head. Now let’s eat a quick breakfast “ Cody said he took the little boy hand down the stairs then sat him in the Chair. “ cereal okay with you “

Tim sat in the indicated seat “cereal is fine and look, I may be taking a break from teaching but it’s short and I’m still a professional in the building. It just looks weird” he started to eat

Cody sat down to eat his cereal and drink his coffee. “ don’t worry you know your going to look like one of the  kids so it’s not that big of a deal “ Cody said with a sigh.

“That’s not okay,” Tim said in a panicky voice I try really hard to look like an adult which I am also all of the kids wear shoes sooo that’s out the window too”

“ not all kids wear shoes baby don’t wear shoes. “ Cody said he finished his food and grabbed his phone and bag. “ okay let’s go we don’t want to be late “ Cody said grabbing Tim and carrying him to the car.

“Well yah but I’m not a baby or any kind of kid, I’m a grown up and a teacher and I work at the school and...” he just didn’t have words. He didn’t even fight being carried. And he sat quietly in the back seat

“ not much of big boy. Now when we get to class you need to be a good boy “ Cody said as he drove to the school building. Once they got there Cody carried his bag and Tim in the class room. He pulled a desk over to the corner and sat Tim down. 

“ I’m going to get you something to color befor the other kids come in “Cody said.

Tim glaired at Cody “no I’m not one of the kids, I’m a grown up and if I’m to be the assistant then why can’t I still teach and correct papers and lead groups like you were gong to and I’ll sit at my desk thank you...

“ sorry but your to small for that job.  So you will be coloring and playing with blocks today “  Cody said he handed Tim a coloring book and some crayons.

Tim shook his head “no that’s not what’s happening here, I’m paid to be here and teach, I won’t sit here and color all day. What would the kids even think”

Cody was getting the kids ready. “ no one will care. You will sit and color and about that the princepal told me that you were fired. I’m the new teacher now please sit and color “ Cody said.

Tim was about to explode when the kids started to enter. He didn’t want anymore embarrassment so he sat and watched. He refused to color. He wandered what Cody would say to the kids

Cody smiles and started the class one of the kid asked why Tim was in corner. “ so guys that is little Tim he very young and needs you guys to be gentle.  He going to be a good boy and color then he can have some play time with you guys “ Cody said.

Tim turned pink Another boy raised his hNd “But isn’t that Mr Richmond why is he dressed that way, an other one cut in “ya can we take off our shoes”

Cody really didn’t want to confuse the kids. “ no it’s not mr.Richardson that his younger brother and he has his shoes off because he’s a baby’s. You guys older so you need to keep your shoes on. Anymore questions “ cody said

Another hand was raised “what can we do with the baby, I like babies” 

tim groaned and jumped up “I am not a baby!!!!

Cody was about to answer the question when Tim had an outburst. Cody went over. “ you better behave and not distrurb my class or you can get a play pen and put you down for a nap “ Cody said to Tim.

Tim looked horrified he immediately sat down but crossed his arms giving Cody death glairs

Cody was happy now and went back to answering the kids question. He then handed them some work and went to check on Tim. “ do you have to go potty. “ Cody asked him.

Tim was furious “why are you down ni this to me! If I’m not good at my job they can fire me but don’t reduce me to a child, I’m an adult not a baby and I don’t need to potty”

Cody nodded. “ okay if you don’t have to potty then go back and color we will talk more at lunch . “ Cody said going back to teach the class.

Tim sighed in frustration and simp,y laid his head on the desk quietly waiting until lunch he was at least sure that Cody was a good teacher

Cody finished teaching then it was lunch time. “ okay we need to talk you seem upset about our arrangement. “ Cody said.

Tim jumped up “how dear you tell them I’m a child, I’m not and this is ridicules I can resign if they want but I don’t have to stand for this I have rights, now I’m leaving
