Rivals (Private for Kinkyddlg)

Alexis didn't mind that her father decided to re-marry nor did she mind the person that he did marry at all. What she did mind was the fact that she had a new step-sister who just so happened to be her high-school rival.

The two were always against each other in some way or at least that's what it felt like to Alexis.

Alexis always found herself forced to go the extra mile to try and keep up with her rival in high-school which meant always competing and trying to win no matter what.

She was gifted artistically and won several dance tournaments, her art was good and she wasn't bad at sports as long as it didn't require much upper body strength like basketball, vollyball, cheer-leading or wrestling.  English and history were two of her best subjects that she always excelled in yet....

She had a hard time in everything else and always found herself frustrated by her short-comings to the point that she would openly lie about her grades to her rival just so she wouldn't seem to be behind at all.  Alexis didn't know why she felt the way she did or how her rivalry came about at all with the other girl.  In a lot of ways it had been childish, petty and sometimes even mean but it had always pushed her to be better.

What was her rival like now?

Alexis pulled up to the garage of the new house her father and new step-mother had just bought for her and her new step-sister.   Alexis parked her motorbike off to the side and went into the house closing the door behind her.

The brown-haired, blue-eyed young woman stood still for a moment.  She hadn't grown much at all during high-school and sadly hadn't grown much during college either.  Her height had made it somewhat difficult to deal with her rival at times and was often a sore-point for her during high-school.

Her father had moved her belongings into this house and she could see the boxes on the floor. Would she and her new step-sister be at each others throats or not? Alexis wore a simple blue sleeveless shirt and black shorts.  Alexis glanced at the long mirror in the hallway.  She didn't look terrible and she stood at 5'4 now but how could she really compare herself to her new step-sister? She didn't even know much about her? Had she grown? Had she stayed the same? Would they end up trying to get one over the other as they used to back in high-school?

Alexis stared at her new step sister with big blue awe stricken eyes and envy.

Truthfully she had always been jealous of her rival and even looked up to her as a role model.  Being in competition with her meant that they were always close and she could always push past her feelings of 'hero worship' and just pretend that she didn't like her that much.

It was easy but would it be so easy now? She always thought of the other girl as 'cool' and could feel her stomach twisting in knots right now.

Would they be able to live together realistically? Would both of them be able to handle the other one? Would both of them try to seek power somehow? Alexis could feel herself becoming excited and anxious at the thought of trying to top her step-sister.  Could she really top her? She tried most of her high school life doing so and while she had some success here and there she didn't know if things would go smoothly at all if she did decide to start some type of competition between them.
