Daddy’s boy (private with Cormac)

Dan laughed “same difference little one” he carried Ethan upstairs and opened the same closet as earlier. He pulled out a box and sat down grabbing Ethan’s ankle “give me those little feeties. what’s your shoe size anyway munchkin. We’ll have to see what we have I know dad won’t let you wear those ridiculous boots anymore”

Ethan was still pretend sulking. "Forty one forty two.", he said, smiling despite himself, although when he had one of his adult days he was definetely going to have those boots back.

Dan held up a couple of shoes to Ethan’s outstretched foot “actually baby it looks more like you’re a... 38. Here these should work do you want Spider-Man slip ons or well these flip flops with frogs on them”

Ethan looked torn. "Hmmmm..dunno maybe frogs?", he asked himself then shook his head, leasuring in the fact that he was 3 and no one could get angry ar him for being indecisive.

Dan smiled “sure baby the froggys are very cute just like you”

he stood up and offered Ethan his hand “let’s go get your teeth brushed mr man”

Ethan rolled his eyes and got up by himself. Dan was evidently not his cool older brother. He walked into the bathroom whith Dan behind and got his toothbeush ready.

Dan got his tooth brush ready to “ok buddy let’s do it together ther remember you have to hum twinkle twinkle little star twice before you can be done”

Ethan did as he was told but finished slightly before Dan finished humming. He then spat but had difficulty cleankng his mouth. Apparently his mental age affected his coordination.

Dan laughed “silly boy” he grabbed some tissue and wiped Ethan’s face and the mess “we’ll work on that ok baby now go find daddy or big brother while I get dressed but be a good boy”

"I wiilll.", Ethan said and walked down the stairs to find Daddy wherever he was. "Daddy I'm ready!", he called loudly. He was really excited about today.

Brent smiled at his boy “hello baby were you good for your big brother” he opened his arms in invitation

Ethan higged his Daddy, "Yes Daddy I was good for Daniel. 'E was being silly though, but Dan is always silly.", Ethan smiled.

Brent smiled “yes he is baby you have a very silly big brother, two of them in fact. Let’s go to the car baby” he took Ethan by the hand leading him to the car the other boys followed

Ethan looked up at his Daddy,  "Can Richie sit in the back with me?", he asked and then looked at Richard, doing his absolute best to get his way three times in the same two hours by being as cute as possible, he might not have been able to win Brent over but Richard.. well he was easy.

Richard bent easily after his brother looked at him, he was easy prey. "Of course Bro, which side do you want to sit in?"

Brent smiled “well that’s up to your brother love but I’m sure he doesn’t mind”

once it was settled and every one was in the car brent  looked in the mirror “we should probably get someone a car seat while we’re out today”

Ethan nodded his Daddy was probably right. As he watched the world go by he wondered where they were going first, hopefully to get him those. Mranwhile he leaned on Richard's shoulder

Richard smiled as Ethan leaned on him, this was the most relaxed Eichard had seen Ethan, in well ever.

Brent watched his boys in the mirror as he drove them pulled in to the store “why don’t you guys go take your brother to look at the toys while I go do the boring adult shopping”

He grinned, him and Richard and Dan got to do toys first! He couldn't wait to buy some more Lego, and maybe he could get some dressing up costumes as well, he could be a pirate!

Richard nodded, "Sounds like a good idea Dad, what's our budget plus how much cash do you have on you?", he asked, taking charge as usual, he got out his own wallet, and started counting his money.

Richie buddy you don’t need to worry about money that’s Daddys job. The baby needs toys just make sure they’re safe and you have 200 give or take 20”

"Just checking Dad, can you give me the cash because I haven't got 200 in my wallet. Also now as the oldest I need to take Ethan's responsibilities up.", Richard said holding out his hand for the money.

Brent shook his head “a little dramatic there Richard” he handed off the cash “I’ll meet you boys in 30 minutes at check out”

"You know me, Dad. Dramatic to a fault.", Richard said and winked. "Come on nos let's go and get you some toys! Where are we headed first?"

"LEGOS!!", Ethan shouts and runs off towards the Legos, looking back every now and again to make sure he wasn't too far ahead of them.

Brent shook his head and called after them “nothing that fits in globs mouth boys and watch your brother” Dan sped up taking Ethan’s hand “what else should we get little guy”

Ethan had to think, LEGO had been his main idea, so he had to think. "Can we get dress up costumes after? I wanna be a pirate!", Ethan replied. He walked further with Dan. Richard followed behind.

Dan smiled at the boy “I think you’d make an an adorable pirate baby but I don’t think we can get legos. Daddy said nothing worth small pieces what about bigger legos like the duplo kind”
