College Days (closed)

So it seemed like a regular day to Dave who had just finished his classes for the day and was back at the apartment working on his homework.  He was sitting in his room at his desk going over some math homework, not the most glamorous thing to have to work on, but he did like that he was working on college course work instead of still being stuck in high school.  He does like being in school and learning new things but the other kids at high school seemed to like to pick at him for his small size and how bad he was at sports. That combined with not having a large group of friends means he was often at home and his love of learning meant he had been doing really well academically. What tipped the scales was when his best friend who was a few years older then him had said he was moving away to an out of state college this hit him hard, but eventually he was able to come up with a plan that let him go with, and so here he was.  College turned out to be easier in some ways harder in others.  What he liked was that first off he did not have to take any gym or pe type classes here and no one seemed to care that he lacked such ability's. Though the classwork it self was much harder this was something he didn't mind as this was a type of difficulty he could handle.

His room had posters of varios anime shows and some asian themed decor bits here and there as it's the style he really liked.  it had nothing to do with where he's from as not only has his family on both sides been in the us for several generations prior, the ones who did come over came from Europe.  Today He was wearing a tshirt for some online game he often plays and a pair of jeans,  and as he works on his homework the door to his room was open.

Kyle got home and opened the door he was slightly worried Davecwas supposed to call him on days he got home first but he forgot again!

kyle went to the boys room and opened the door without knocking and there was Dave all 4 and a half feet of him sitting at his desk and studying Kyle smiled inspite of himself “hey buddy did you have a good day and by the way can you think of something you forgot to do today”
