"Okay." I help mix it up, although you end up finishing the task, and I let you handle putting them on the pan and into the oven.

Honey i'm going to start the timer why don't you go and play while they cook

"Umm, okay... what do I have to play with?" I hadn't looked around my room much.

Alice: They are in the tv room

[Wannatripbaby]

I go and look in the tv room.

I clean up the dishes

I saw a box marked "toys" in the tv room and it had all kinds of stuff in it! Dolls, stuffed animals, Nerf guns, lotsa stuff! I turned to Mr. Hammond watching the tv. "Is this all for me?" This couldn't all be for me, could it? I hadn't seen any other children yet, but maybe they just weren't around right now?

Bob: Yes it is all for you

I couldn’t believe it. These people were doing so much for me, a broken, diaper wearing nobody. I ran over and hugged him. "Thank you, Daddy."

I also notice that the tv has a Nintendo wii hooked up to it. They had one of those at the Petersons house, but of course I was never allowed to play it. But Mr. Hammond was watching tv. I didn’t feel right about bothering him after everything he and Mommy had done. So I picked up two dolls instead and carried them to my room.

Bob: I soon finish watching tv

I start playing with my dollies.

Alice: Soon the cookies are done

I jear the oven door open & close in the kitchen and I run out there. "Are they done are they done are they done???" wow! How'd I say that without stuttering?

Alice: Yes they are done

I look at the pan, then back at you with puppy dog eyes. I wanted to just grab the cookies right off the pan and start shoving them in my mouth, but I wasn’t sure if the pan was still hot or if I'd get in trouble. So I waited for you to serve them up, practically bouncing with anticipation.

Alice: I take the cookies off the pan and put them on a cooling rack

"How much longer do we have to wait???" I whined. I know I shouldn't whine like that after everything they've already done for me. But I wanted thise cookies so bad!

Alice: Just twenty minutes i don't want you to burn your mouth

[Wannatripbaby]

Twenty minutes??? But I thought they were done??? I want them now! It's not fair!

Since when has life ever been fair? Or even good until now?

"Well, okay." I pouted.

Bob: Anna we don't want you to burn your mouth

"Yeah, I know." Why am I making such a big deal out of this? I'm used to waiting much longer for more important things than this!

"I'm sorry, Mommy."

Alice: It is okay sweetie why don't you go and wash your hands
