Protective Heroine and her Ward

Once their meal was ready, Hana brought Haru over and began to feed him.

Lara looked down at him. "You feeling better yet, honey?" She asked

Haru giggled and reached to play with the food.

Jamie shook his head. He was still crying. "It won't stop" he said before fresh tears start up again.

Hana giggled as she gave him some baby toys to play with instead.

"I know you must miss your mother very much.." Lara said

[Sephy]

Haru giggled as he enjoyed the noisy toys between bites.

Jamie buried himself into Lara Her heartbeat help calm him. Another odd thing started to happen. Jamie's skin started showing red spots.

Hana smiled and was glad he was enjoying himself.

Lara sighed a little and then looked at his skin. "Babe.. Did you get a rash?" she asked

Haru burped as he finished up.

"No mama me itchy through" Jamie whined. His body started showing signed of chicken pox.

Hana wiped his mouth with his bib before taking it off.

Lara took a closer look. "These look like chicken pox, honey. We better head to the Littles clinic." She said

[Sephy]

Haru cooed softly to his sister.

Jamie shook his head. "No mama"

"Yes,baby." Lara said and got Jamie to the clinic.

[Sephy]

Jamie whined and wanted to run away.

Lara held him firmly and then handed him to the doctors and nurses who knew of Jamie's condition.

The doctor chuckled. "This little guy can't be put on his feet. You have one cute Little. Most mommies or daddies would kill for such a cutie"

Jamie was scared and looking to his mommy.

Lara smiled proudly. "He is really cute huh?" She said and looked to Jamie. "You'll be alright, baby.." she knew Jamie was in good and expert hands.

[Sephy]

The doctor reviewed Jamie and saw his chicken pox. "So we have the chicken pox here. So we need some cream and do you think this little guy can control his scratching? Plus He'll probably need a sitter for a week. Someone that's already had chicken pox."

"I don't think he can." Lara said. "Well I've already had it so I'm okay."

[Sephy]

"Mittens and rest would be the medicine here. I mostly recommend a sitter because he may need round the clock care for the week. I'm honestly not sure your work situation" The doctor commented back.

Jamie whined wanting to be with his mama.

"I understand. I'll try and get somebody then." Lara said as she took Jamie into her arms.

[Sephy]

Jamie cuddled into Lara's arms as he hid away from the doctor.

"Adorable," One of the nurses cooed to Jamie. Another came by and asked Jamie "Can you say May sweetie?"

Jamie was feeling a little overwhelmed and hid away from them too.

Lara chuckled softly. "He's quite the shy little guy." She said as she held Jamie close.

[Sephy]

"Maymay" Came Jamie's reply. His baby lisp got worse as he got nervous.

Lara giggled a bit. "Awwww.."

[Sephy]

The nurses cooed over Jamie. Like any baby that gets overwhelmed Jamie started crying. The nurses backed off saying sorry. "We didn't mean to scare the little one"

"It's okay. He's just not feeling great. He can be a real sweetie when he's in a good mood." Lara placed Jamie's pacifier in his mouth before getting the cream and heading home with him.

On the way home Jamie scratched at his pox.

Once home, Lara applied the cream on Jamie and got his mittens on. She then contacted April for her to watch over Jamie.
