Protective Heroine and her Ward

"It's Jamie. He suddenly started stripping and I don't know what to do." Lara said worriedly.

Nora shook her head. "Oh, how I remember that. Think you can take this one, darling?" She asked Geoff.

[Sephy]

"Yeah, okay honey, the answer to this is usually a mitten sleeper. Make sure it's zipper is in the back, otherwise he'll find his way out of it."

Jamie was now happily watching Family Guy again since Lara was away. He was nude and still suckling his thumb.

"Oh, I think I've seen those in his onesie pile. I'll go get it." Lara said

Nora nodded and looked at Geoff. "Let's go check on our toddler terror." She said as she saw Jamie and shook her head. "Jamie, you know you're not suppose to be watching that or be out of your clothes for no reason." Nora said

[Sephy]

Jamie looked suddenly worried. "But it funny mommy" He gave his mommy his best puppy eyes.

"I know, snookums. But Mommy doesn't want you watching when you're a toddler." Nora said as she went over to him. "Now, why are you out of your clothes? You made Lara get worried.

 

[Sephy]

"It comfy" Jamie said with an innocent tone to his voice.

Lara came back with the mitten onesie and handed it to Nora.

Nora shook her head a little. "You know its not proper." She said as she got him dressed into the onesie.

[Sephy]

Jamie whined as he was being changed.

Geoff sighed. "It gets easier Lara honey"

Nora soon got him diapered and zipped up his onesie.

Lara sighed as she looked to Geoff. "I'm just so unsure of myself when it comes to disciplining him." She said

[Sephy]

"I understand that hon, me and your mother were very much the same way. Try smaller punishments. Take away his sweets, no tv time, no outside play time. Just do things that don't hurt him, just take things he feels like are just normal" Geoff replied.

Jamie began sobbing, trying to break his mommy.

Lara nodded as she sighed. "It's just... I don't like seeing him crying or being upset so I'm afraid he breaks me easily." She said

Nora had had plenty of experience by now with 4 children in total. "Nope, those tears won't work." She said

[Sephy]

Geoff smiled nodding back. "Maybe we should watch him for this. We're more use to this" Geoff stated looking to his wife.

Jamie threw a bit of a fit as he tugged at the onesie.

Lara nodded wholeheartedly. "Please do."

Nora agreed with Geoff. "Sometimes, you just have to let him run his course."

[Sephy]

Jamie continued to sob till he was hiccuping and out of breath.

Geoff agreed with his wife.

Lara got scared seeing Jamie like that. "Is he really okay?" She asked 

Nora took Jamie as she held him and rubbed his back. "Don't worry, Lara honey. This is normal."

[Sephy]

Geoff pulled Lara to the side. "He's fine honey, he want you to give him what he wants, that's all. It's all a trick. Me and your mother fell for it a lot the first time around. Don't worry, he's fine," He told her.

Jamie's crying stopped but he was still weeping.

Lara took a deep breath and sighed. "Sorry, I've never been good with small children that much." She said

Nora nuzzled his cheek a little as she looked at him. "Are you all done?" She asked.

[Sephy]

"It's fine Lara. Jamie is just difficult at this age" Geoff reassured her.

Jamie nodded lightly into his mommy.

Lara nodded. "I just need to toughen up I guess. Its hard when its someone you love." She said

Nora turned him to show Lara. "You gave your Mama quite a fright, baby." She said

[Sephy]

Geoff nodded back. "Jamie put us through the ringer. He was a spoiled little guy, but we couldn't help ourselves. Just know when your tell a little one no it's because of a good reason"

Jamie looked worriedly to his mama. He did feel bad and whined weakly.

Lara nodded. "I'll have to learn that then."

Nora kissed his cheek. "I think you owe her an apology, little one."

[Sephy]

"You'll get it with time honey, I promise" Geoff replied back.

Jamie looked to his mommy with a frown.

Lara placed her arms around herself and hugged herself. "I do hope so." She said and looked over at Jamie.

Nora softly kissed the frown lines on his forehead before letting him go to Lara.

[Sephy]

Jamie waddled to Lara and hugged her.

Geoff looked to his son. "What do you say Jam Jam?" Jam Jam being Jamie's old baby nickname.

"Sowwy" Jamie lisped.

"Jam Jam?" Lara asked before she took Jamie into her embrace and cuddled him. "You scared me there, honey." She said
