Protective Heroine and her Ward

"Ooooh, I'm actually afraid now." Lara said and picked Jamie up. "Is it true? Are you a little troublemaker?" She cooed to Jamie

 

[Sephy]

Jamie shook his head as he nuzzled into Lara.

"He must just want you" Geoff replied back.

Lara nodded a little as she snuggled Jamie. "I'll definitely need help disciplining him if he misbehaves. Any advice, Geoff?"

[Sephy]

"He responded well to time outs" Geoff replied back. "While he might want everything and anything. He also doesn't like do be for someone he loves to be mad at him"

Lara listened carefully to Geoff. "I'm guessing yelling won't yield any good results will it?" She said as she played with Jamie's hair.

[Sephy]

"Me and your mother didn't try it. We don't think yelling at a little one actually helps. It just enables them to do it again because they got a reaction from it" Geoff replied. "Just remember he's not fully aware of what he's doing"

Lara nodded. "I agree. I don't like seeing little ones being yelled at in general." She said nuzzled Jamie.

[Sephy]

Geoff nodded back. "Don't reward bad behavior and show him the effect of his actions. Don't give into his crying either otherwise he wins" 

Jamie pointed to the cookie jar.

"Oh but I'm so weak when it comes to his crying." Lara mentioned and saw what Jamie was pointing at. She immediately looked to Geoff for help.

[Sephy]

"Give him a paci to calm him down and let him cry it out" Geoff replied. "But your mother would likely give in to him quickly, so put in that paci quick"

Lara nodded at this as she nuzzled Jamie some more.

[Sephy]

Jamie gave Lara gimmie arms.

Lara took Jamie and held him close to her and sighed.

[Sephy]

Jamie was all smiles and cuddles. "Cartoons mama"

Geoff looked to his son. "Careful Lara hon, he can be tricky"

"Well, cartoons are okay right?" Lara asked feeling unsure of herself.

[Sephy]

Jamie smiled happily as he nuzzled into Lara.

Jake woke up looking around for his big sis as he woke up.

Lara smiled a little as she brought Jamie inside and showed him some cartoons.

Nora smiled as she looked at Jake. "You're looking for your Sissy aren't you?" She cooed

Sally was outside with Timmy, playing.

[Sephy]

Jake babbled to his mommy with a light nodded.

Jamie turned the TV to the Simpsons.

Nora chuckled as she brought Jake outside and then placed him on the grass so he could go to his sister.

Lara thought he shouldn't watch that at his age so she switched it to a toddler show.

[Sephy]

Jake slowly tattled to his sister. "Sa!" He shouted.

Jamie whined. "Mama can we change it back?" He said with his best puppy dog eyes.

Sally turned to look around. "Jakey!" She crouched down to his height and held out her arms for him.

"I don't think you should watch that at your age, sweetie. Besides, this one looks a lot more fun hm?" Lara said as she pointed out to the colorful toddler show.

[Sephy]

Jake took her hands with a happy giggle.

Jamie bought it and got suckled into the show.

Sally hugged and nuzzled him as she giggled happily.

[Sephy]

Jake kissed his sister with a loving smile.

Jamie would be in Lara's lap watching on while suckling his thumb and a strain of Lara's hair.

"Aww my sweet boy." Sally cooed and kissed him back.

Lara nuzzled his head softly and sighed.
