Protective Heroine and her Ward

[Sephy]

(I'll play this for now, but I was think we could use this character as the future babysitter)

"Just calling to check in. I haven't hear any front page news from my favorite student" April said as she heard Lara's voice. "Anything wrong?"

[Anon17a]

( okie dokes)

"Well things have kept me busy." Lara said as she started to tell April about everything that had happened.

[Sephy]

April chuckled. "That sounds real cute. Is he a handful now?"

[Anon17a]

"Well he is a little clingy but he's quite sweet. But he has his cheekiness too." Lara explained

[Sephy]

April listened and asked "You don't leave him alone do you? Leaving a baby, even one that isn't always helpless, might end badly"

[Anon17a]

"I have to sometimes when I get called for hero duties. I've already quit my job to stay home." Lara said

[Sephy]

"Lara honey what would happen if something hurt him while you were away?" April asked. In a flash April was there in front of Lara. She had the power of teleportation. "I'm retired I could always watch over the baby boy" She saw Jamie and smiled to him. "Hi there little one, Come say hi"

Jamie blushed heavily and felt like hiding.

Lara felt startled as she suddenly appeared like that. "Jeez, you gotta warn me when you do that." She said and then got Jamie and held him. "This is April, baby. She was my mentor." She explained and looked at April. "Really April? That would help out a lot."

[Sephy]

Jamie held Lara and buried himself into her. He was nervous and embarrassed about being see as he was.

"I'm more than happy to help you with this. Plus he looks adorable" April said as she looked over Jamie once more

[Anon17a]

"It's okay Jamie.. She's really nice." Lara said as she nuzzled him. "Yeah.. He's pretty cute."

[Sephy]

"I'm going to be your nanny baby boy" April cooed to him.

Jamie looked to April, suckling on his thumb with worried eyes.

[Anon17a]

"I'm sure you'll like her." Lara said to Jamie and patted him. "He's just quite the Mama's boy."

[Sephy]

"I'm sure we'll find something to bond over" April said as she popped Jamie's pacifier in his mouth. 

Jamie's tummy began to rumble. At the same time Lara's hero group symbol went into the sky. These mission usually took longer than normal.

[Anon17a]

"Oh I have to go. I trust you know what to do April." Lara said as she kissed Jamie and handed him to Lara before leaving.

 

[Sephy]

Jamie's emotions were still completely a mess. He reached for Lara while whining and starting to cry.

[Anon17a]

"Awww.. Looks like Lara was right about this little guy. Shhh.  It's okay little one. April is here to take care of you." She said as she cuddled him.

[Sephy]

Jamie sobbed and buried himself into April. "I want my mama" He said before wailing.

[Anon17a]

"Oh I bet you do. But she'll be back once she finished her mission." April said as she patted his back.

[Sephy]

Jamie got his pacifier and suckled on it for comfort. His tummy started rumbling again. He was now in need of feedings or meal more now due to his powers and babyish needs.

[Anon17a]

"Someone's hungry." April placed Jamie in his highchair while she made him some soft foods.

[Sephy]

Jamie was still crying and trying to calm down. He played with the tray, but it wasn't doing anything. It was locked well into place.

[Anon17a]

April soon finished his meal and placed a bib on him. "Okay let's get some food in your belly." She said as she started to feed him.

[Sephy]

Jamie ate what he was given and didn't put up a fight. Food began to spread throughout his face.

[Anon17a]

"Oh you are a messy little eater." April cooed as she fed him.

[Sephy]

Jamie blushed. He took a breath. He was feeling better and back to normal. "Uhm hi............ I think I'm okay again" He said nervously to April.
