Protective Heroine and her Ward

[Sephy]

Jamie cooed to Lara. He clinged to her, not wanting her to leave him again.

Phil started changing Bryan's diaper.

Lara sighed softly as she enjoyed his warmth.

Mona began waking up after a little while and looked to Ryan as she smiled. "My little guy."

[Sephy]

"Mama" Jamie cooed gently. 

Messages starting come to the house systems. Mostly stuff Lara had missed. "You okay?" Leon message two hours ago.

Ryan was still heavily asleep. Bryan was out cold in his crib.

Phil was busy on lunch.

Lara sighed and then checked the messages. She replied Leon and explained what had happened.

Mona gently picked up Ryan and tucked him in with Bryan ass he went to help Phil. "Hey, honey. Need any help?" 

[Sephy]

Leon messaged back. "I was given a play by play on what happened. Do you need another day off?"

"Sure, the boys food still needs to be set up. And I could use help on the sides" Phil stated as he turned on their baby monitor.

"I think I'll need it. Is that okay?" Lara asked

"Okay, babe." Mona said and helped out Phil with their meals.

[Sephy]

"It's fine, I just want you to be healthy. Plus Jamie's mental state could dip hard if something happened to you" Leon replied. "Sending a care package. Thank me later"

A few minutes later a knock on the door would be heard. It would be a box of home made dishes, some vitamins and a few toys for Jamie.

Phil turned on the nanny cam so he could watch the boys.

"Thank you, mayor. You really have been nothing but kind to us." Lara messaged and then went to get the door. "Wow, this really is a  lot."

"How are the boys?" Mona asked 

[Sephy]

Jamie excitedly reached for the toys.

"Okay still out cold"  Phil chuckled. "They're so cute when they're asleep"

Lara gave him the toys as she worked on putting the other stuff away.

"They really are. They don't fight as much." Mona chuckled

[Sephy]

Jamie played happily with his new toys. 

"That's just Ryan being too strong for his own good. Bryan will need that at some point. And Ryan will be needing Bryan's gentleness at some point too" Phil chuckled. He started serving out the meals.

[Anon17a]

"Very true, my love. They compliment each other but they just don't know that yet." Mona said as she helped serve as well.

[Sephy]

"It'll take them time sweetie" Phil stated. "I better go wake them, or they won't sleep tonight" Phil headed back to their room.

"Good luck, babe.. They get so cranky when woken up." Mona said

[Sephy]

Phil sighed realizing what his wife was saying. "I would have rather go in blind" A few seconds later, the twins crying would be heard. Phil came in with the twin in either arms. "Want to take one?"

[Anon17a]

"I'll take whichever one." Mona said as she held out her arms.

[Sephy]

Phil hand her Ryan. 

Bryan cried into his daddy.

Ryan did the same to his mommy.

Mona looked to Ryan as she held him close and rocked him. "Awww baby boy... My sweet baby Ryan." She cooed to him.

[Sephy]

Ryan calmed down after a few minutes.

Bryan was the more difficult one to get to stop crying.

Mona softly kissed Ryan and wiped his tears away.

[Sephy]

Ryan buried himself into his mommy.

Mona smiled a little as she held Ryan closely.

[Sephy]

Once Bryan was calm, Phil said "How about we start filling some tummies"

"Sounds about right." Mona said as they headed to the kitchen.

[Sephy]

Phil put Bryan in his highchair.
