Protective Heroine and her Ward

Nora explained about how she wanted to visit him cause she had missed him.

[Sephy]

Jamie smiled to his mommy. "It nice to see you mommy. I'm sorry you have to take care of me like this"

Nora shook her head. "I'm quite used to it with your younger siblings." She said

[Sephy]

"Yeah, but I'm supposed be past all of this" Jamie said in frustration.

[Anon17a]

"It's fine, darling." Nora said as she hugged and snuggled him.

[Sephy]

Jamie kissed his mommy's cheek. "I asked her" He told his mommy

Nora's eyes widened. "Oh my goodness.. How did it go?" She asked excitedly.

[Sephy]

"She said yes" Jamie said with a extremely happy smile.

"Oh congratulations, Jamie honey."Nora said happily as she hugged him firmly.

[Sephy]

Jamie hugged his mommy with a happy smile. "I was extremely happy to hear her saw yes"

"I would imagine so." Nora said and sighed. "Oh, my first baby is getting married already."

[Sephy]

Jamie saw some sadness in his mommy's eyes. Jamie tried to control himself, but started tearing up as a response.

"Oh, snookums. Overall, I'm very happy for you of course." Nora said as she wiped his tears." Nora said

[Sephy]

Jamie took a deep breath and slowly started to control himself. "Sorry mommy, it's really hard to control now"

"It's alright, Jamie honey." Nora said and nuzzled him.

[Sephy]

Jamie sighed as he nuzzled into his mommy. "Afraid of what will happen during the wedding, what if I can't keep it together long enough. I could ruin the day for Lara" he told her worriedly.

"I feel like you'll be a-okay, baby. I'm sure once you see her in that dress walking down the aisle, your mind would be filled with anything but Little thoughts." She said and chuckled softly.

[Sephy]

"It still worries me" Jamie said in the stress written on his face.

[Anon17a]

Nora kissed his forehead and held his cheek. "Well, it wouldn't be normal if you didn't stress about the wedding." She smiled

[Sephy]

"What do I do" Jamie asked worriedly.

[Anon17a]

"Things will sort out for themselves, honey. Don't stress too much. I'm sure Lara and you will have a lovely wedding." Nora said

[Sephy]

"Okay, but I still need a suit,......." Jamie went on listing things and it was clear that he was a bit more than just a little worried.

[Anon17a]

"Sweetie, a wedding takes time. There's no need to rush it." Nora said as she snuggled him.

[Sephy]

Jamie tired to calm himself but it wasn't working. This was new. The adult stress was effecting him strongly, thus leading his mind and body to crave his babyish support system. He found a nearby pacifier and was quick to start suckling on it.

Nora started to rock him in her arms as she cooed to him.
