Becoming Little May

May just listened and nodded. There was a difference to her between being a baby and being a little kid, and compared to a baby, a kid around the age she was being treated as, was a big girl. So being told that big girls don't wet their panties felt like a stab in the heart.

"You're not a baby," Carl said holding her.

"I understand wearing the pull-up kind if we go out. Cuz I haven't had a dry day since we started this. But I haven't wet the bed." May said softly, slipping her middle three fingers in her mouth.

"I guess I can put you in some jammies," Carl said.

"If I don't wet the bed can I only wear them in the day?" May asked trying to compromise. She figured that if she could prove that she wouldn't wet the bed she wouldn't have to wear diapers at night.

Carl thought about it.

"Okay, as long as your bed stays dry, you can wear panties to bed.

May smiled and nodded, confident she could keep her bed dry without any problem.

"Sure, baby."

He put her on the sofa, got the remote, and then sat down next to her, and gave her the remote.

"Find something age appropriate, okay?"

May smiled and flipped through the channels she put it on my little pony. She loved the show when she was little, so she figured she'd like it now.

"And I love you, May-May," Carl said.

May smiled and watched for a while. She was content to just be with him, not a care in the world.

"Well, since you are a little girl right now," Carl told May.

[Shy-Diapers]

May nodded and watched TV for a while. She wished she had something to play with, but figured maybe she could ask when they went to the store tomorrow.

Carl smiled down at May.

"I thought you were watching cartoons, baby," he said as he was preparing the maccoroni.

May's cheeks turned slightly red as she looked down at her feet.

"What is it, baby?" Carl knelt down to her as though she were the little girl she was wanting to be.

May nodded and gave Carl a small, soft smile when he asked if she needed help. She curled her toes on the tile floor, unable to help but squirm, feeling a little desperate now.

It took a few minutes, but Carl finally caught on to her squriming around.

"You don't have to go potty, do you?" he asked her.

May nodded when asked about the potty. Even though she felt 8, she just felt like it was the right thing to do to ask for help, especially since she was wet underneath.

Her nightie not being that thick, made it easy to feel that her bottom was wet, but he didn't say anything afraid of making her feel shame.

May blushed and looked at her lap. She knew she'd wet a little, but didn't know she soaked her panties.

"Good girl," Carl said thinking that she wanted to hear him praise her like she was a little kid.

May beamed with pride when Carl praised her. She felt accomplished and like she did something good.

"Aw, honey," he said hugging her after she was dressed.

May nodded and smiled at Carl. She was still figuring out what was okay to do and what she shouldn't do.
