Macy's Good Friend and her home stay sister troubles

"You're right," he said.

[Shy-Diapers]

Macy nodded and smiled. Finally her dad seemed to understand her.

"We all feel that way sometimes," he said to his little girl.

[Shy-Diapers]

"I don't want friends because they don't want me." Macy shrugged.

[Ishigreensa]

"Well, that sounds fair.

[Shy-Diapers]

"I know that Dad. You're the only one that's bringing that up." Macy said, trying not to roll her eyes.

[Ishigreensa]

Sayuri thought everyone had gone to bed so she went up to her room to go to bed.

Mike smiled.

"Well, I guess that answers that," he said.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Really?" Macy asked skeptically. "Just the two of us?" She loved the idea, but wasn't sure if her dad would be able to keep the promise. It seemed like she'd been let down before with spending alone time with him.

[Ishigreensa]

He frowned.

"I didn't realize you didn't like her," he said.

[Shy-Diapers]

(Grrrr I didn't get a notification for these!)

"I don't know. Just because she's a good person doesn't mean I'll necessarily like her." Macy said with a shrug.

[Ishigreensa]

The next morning, Mike was up at four.

Macy woke up with her alarm, sighing. She was wet again. She frowned and stripped the bed and went to shower. She was quick and she was dressed soon enough.

Mike smiled when he saw his baby come into the kitchen, and he offered her some breakfast.

"We'll leave in a little bit," he told her.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Horseback riding and a movie sounds good. But I'm not one for hiking." Macy said with a small shrug. She checked her levels and gave herself a shot of insulin.

[Ishigreensa]

About an hour later, Mike had put his daughter in the car, and they were fifteen minutes into a two hour ride out of town to get to a ranch he knew about that had horses.

Macy stared out the window for most of the ride, though stopped when she'd feel sick.

[Ishigreensa]

MIke smiled.

[Shy-Diapers]

Macy nodded. She hoped she wouldn't be too scared when it came to riding.

[Ishigreensa]

Mike nodded about her bringing the sketch book along being second nature.

"I'm glad you enjoy sketching so much," he said.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Yeah but most people aren't scared of simple things like this." Macy said. If only her father knew half of what she was scared of.

[Ishigreensa]

Mike frowned about her being so timid.

"Honey, horses are not simple, and a lot of people are scared to sit on them.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Are there gonna be a lot of people here?" Macy asked while her father paid for the lessons and equipment rental. She looked down.

[Ishigreensa]

"Honey, you don't have to worry about embarrassing yourself here.

[Shy-Diapers]

(That could work, but I thought she was gonna meet him when he stands up for her at school.)

[Ishigreensa]

(Well, they could just sort of meet and say hi at the moment, but he doesn't realize they know each other from school on this day.
