Macy's Good Friend and her home stay sister troubles

MIke kept a hand on her shoulder too, because he didn't like his daughter getting lost in big crowds in places he wasn't used to.

He smiled when she chose to stay close enough for him to do that.

Macy found the way to the class they were in and found a spot towards the back of the room, away from most. It wasn't really a class, but more of a time to try out the pottery stuff with a teacher there to ask for help.

Though Mike had used a pottery wheel once, that was a long long time ago, and he thought it would help bond with her, if she could teach him something.

"Yes, please.

Macy smiled and sat basically in Mike's lap, trying to show him how to use the wheel.

Mike listened to her and let her take over.

Macy smiled and even kissed her father on the cheek.

"Wow, it really shows," he said.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Thanks!" Macy said smiling. She was very relaxed now and was acting more and more like herself.

"I would definitely like to do this again as soon as we have a chance," he said.

"Really?!" Macy asked hopefully and excitedly. "That'd he amazing!" She said happily, before thinking.

"You're really smart," Sayuri said to her host mom.

[Shy-Diapers]

(It's a super informal burger place. You just go up and order and then you get peanuts while you wait for them to call your number.)

"No, I don't think so." Sarah said. "What's that?"

"You know, Ma ku don aru do.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Oh you mean McDonald's?" Sarah asked. "Yeah we have those here too, but I figured you had those in Japan and wanted to try something more American. Of course it's all right honey. We can go shopping for real if you'd like."

Mike watched her carefully and though he was learning, he was more interested in making her feel important than actually learning.

Macy was pretty much in her own world, so when the pottery was finished, she was surprised. The time went by so fast. "I thought we just started." She said softly.

"You might be mad," she said her head down. "But even you don't are mad, it is embarrassment."

She looked up at Sara. "I did baby thing in a night at sleeping. I..." she really didn't want to just out and say it.

[Shy-Diapers]

"What's the matter? You don't need to be embarrassed. I've had a little girl before. Nothing will really surprise me." Sarah said, trying to ease her nerves.

[Ishigreensa]

Mike sighed and looked down at his daughter.

"Yeah, I think so, honey.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Okay." Macy said with a sigh. She got in the passenger seat and stayed pretty quiet. She was happy that she got to do all these wonderful things with her dad, but was sad it was over.

Mike heard the disappointment in his dayghter's sighing 'okay' but there was really not much he could do about it.

"No it's ok. I'm not hungry right now anyway." Macy said looking at her lap. The sun was starting to set and she had school tomorrow. She wasn't looking forward to that.

Sayuri didn't want diapers because they made her feel ashamed of her problem like she was a baby, but she was scared that if she said so, the nice lady might get upset at her so she just nodded sadly, a tear running down her face. The woman didn't say the word diaper yet, but with her avoiding saying what she meant made Sayuri think that that was exactly what she was thinking.

"Honey what's the matter? There's nothing to be ashamed of. Lots of people have issues like yours. When I took Macy to the doctor when she was young the doctor said girls much older than even you still wet the bed. It's not uncommon honey." Sarah said, trying to be as nice as possible. She was trying to treat Sayuri like an adult in this situation, so she'd feel less like a baby.

"Well, how about you go straight up to your room so you can avoid the lecture," Mike said.
