Macy's Good Friend and her home stay sister troubles

Macy shrugged. She wouldn't wear it, but if Sayuri liked it she wasn't going to deny her.

Sayuri walked over to the dark jeans, too, but she didn't want the skinny ones or the ripped ones.

Macy sighed.

[Ishigreensa]

"Oh," Sayuri blushed.

[Shy-Diapers]

"You can get whatever you want." Macy said with a shrug.

[Ishigreensa]

Sayuri looked down.

"Um... I ran out of money," she said.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Did you spend the money my dad gave you?" Macy asked, surprised.

[Ishigreensa]

"I'm sorry," Sayuri said taking the pretzel guiltily.

[Shy-Diapers]

"It's fine." Macy said.

[Ishigreensa]

Sayuri shook her head.

"I tell them truth, that you nice to me for forget to save money for eat," she said.

[Shy-Diapers]

"K." Macy said, Sayuri obviously not understanding that she meant she'd tell her Dad that she bought a pretzel

Eventually, Macy's phone buzzed to indicate her dad was calling her.

"Honey?

[Shy-Diapers]

"You don't need to keep saying that." Macy said after telling her Dad she was on her way.

Sayuri hung her head not sure what to think of Macy at the moment.

[Shy-Diapers]

Macy stayed quiet and looked out the window the whole car ride home. She would tell her dad about the things she got if he asked, but she didn't care either way.

Mike didn't think to ask about what she bought.

Macy didn't want to check her levels, she just wanted to escape into her own world. She shrugged at Sayuri.

[Ishigreensa]

"Yes, I know.

[Shy-Diapers]

Macy worked on her project silently, taking a while to find the right setting on the glue gun and getting used to melted crayon wax getting on her. It didn't really hurt. She worked and worked, happy to escape from her thoughts for the time being. She was so stressed, and just needed an escape.

[Ishigreensa]

"But I paint with Macy, and Macy take a break.

[Shy-Diapers]

"It's fine honey. You got excited and bought a lot. As long as you like everything you bought, then it's ok." Sarah smiled and gave the girl a slight hug.

[Ishigreensa]

"I will be more careful from now on," she promised.

Since Sarah didn't seem to want help, Sayuri went out to the back yard to see what was out there.

Sarah smiled. Sayuri seemed to be worried about impressing them. It made sense. She was in a strange country and with no real understanding of American culture.

[Ishigreensa]

Not really knowing when dinner was, Sayuri was still in the yard, examining some plants in the far back when dinner time rolled around.

Mike came to the table and noticed that Sayuri wasn't there.

"Do you know where Sayuri is?" he asked Macy.

Macy shrugged. "I dunno. I haven't seen her since I started working." She said eating her steak.
