Alex hugged the little boy tightly but quickly gathered thier things pulling Liam up on his hip he said " sorry baby boy you have a really bad boo boo and I need to make sure it's just a sprain now we are going to the doctors baby it will be ok and I'll be with you the whole time I promise" Alex picked Liam up carrying him to the car

Liam was crying loudly but didn't struggle to get out of his hold. He really didn't wanna go. He didn't like the noises or bright lights at the hospital.

Alex practically sprinted to the car being carful to buckle him into the back seat he jumped in the drivers seat and sped toward the emergency room

"No... No I don't wanna go!" Liam whined crying.

"Liam baby, we need to get you checked, it won't take long and I'll be with you the whole and we will be as quick as possible"

alex parked in the ER parking then pulled Liam from the car and practically ran into the ER

Alex shook his head quickly. "No.. no, no." He started to panic.

Alex rubbed Liam's back trying to be as assuring as possible "I'm so sorry baby, we need to get you checked out" he checked in and took a seat waiting to be called

Liam shook his head continuously as he was held in Alex's lap. Liam tried to crawl off.

Alex h led Liam tight " baby stop that now your little foot has a big owwie and we need the dr to look at it to make everything better, it will be fine sweetie"

they were called into the doctor

With Liam in his arms Alex followed the doctor into an exam room. He deposited the little boy onto the table standing next to him and holding his hand

Liam whimpered and pouted. "I don't wanna sprain ankle. How am I supposed to walk around? I don't wanna be carried around all the time." Liam says

Liam started to calm down a little bit. "If I can't be moving around a lot, then I can't go to work." Liam says

Liam frowned when he was told to wait there. But he nodded waiting there patiently.

Alex was back quickly with two big bags he got back in the car driving toward home and said "now baby just so we are clear you'll be staying at my house now, I can't leave you alone like this but I have a room all ready just for you baby"

"No I wanna stay at my mom's house." Liam says. "I don't wanna stay at your house"

Alex smiled "sorry baby no can do, I need to be able to help you and take care of you remember baby you can't walk right now"

"But you can do that at my mom's house." Liam insisted.

Alex simply shook his head "sorry baby I want to sleep in my bed where I have my clothes. You'll see though honey I have a nice room all set up just for you and we will bring over any clothes and anything you may need"

they pulled in and Alex unbuckled coming to Liam's door he opened the door pulling Liam into his arms along with his bags

Liam pouted almost the whole time. He guessed it made sense why he had to stay at Alex's but he didn't want to go to his house.
