Alex smiled "well baby I love my chicken salad I think it's the best in the whole world I have a special recipe and I really hope you like it so dig in sweetie"

Liam took his fork and put some on it. He ate it and chewed on it, thinking.

Alex smiled at the look of concentration on Liam's face stroking his cheek he said "so what's the verdict baby"

"I don't like it." Liam says softly frowning he pushed his fork back.

Alex took the plate "well that's ok baby. Thank you for trying it, how about a pbj"

"I don't like PB and J. Peanut butter is to thick and jelly is gross. what about a turkey sandwich?" Liam says

Alex looked concerned, he looked in the fridge "Lili baby I don't think we have any turkey I didn't know you have textural food issues mommy didn't mention anything to me, what else will you eat, I'll make you anything as long as you eat for me baby"

"i don't know what textural food issue is." Liam says. "Can I have chicken

Alex ruffled Liam's hair "I'll get right on it sweetie" he went to the freezer and took out a single portion of both chicken and fries placing them in the oven as he did so he explained "a textural food issues means that you do t like how certain foods feel and that stops you from eating them. That's ok some times for instance I hate the texture of flon but if it happens with too many foods then there is a problem and we might have to make some changes, sorry baby but you can't exist on chicken nuggets"

"I can eat more then just chicken nuggets. It's just the only thing i thought of at that moment and that I know we have." Liam defended himself

Taking the heated food from the oven Alex said "that's fine baby, we'll just see" he played the food asking do you want Ketchup honey or bbq sauce"

"I don't like sauce with my nuggets and fries thank you " Liam says

Alex put the plate in front of the boy saying "because it feels weird baby"

Liam frowned. "Yeah and if I get it on my face and hands, it'll get sticky and messy and I don't like that either." He says.

Sitting down across from the boy Alex began to dictate thier day "so after you finish love we will get you tucked in for your nap sorry

"Yeah that sounds good " Liam smiled. "How long for the food to be finished?"

"Right now actually" Alex got up and

"Thank you." Liam says before starting to eat.

Alex smiled "my polite little guy what a good boy"

Liam smiled. He started looking down at his food, eating.

Alex watched Liam eat when the food was all gone no he stood offering his hand and saying "come on baby lets get you tucked in"

"Okay." Liam says. He got up so he could go.

Alex took the boys hand and led him to his room full lying back the covers and settling him down " just rest baby you need to nap for attest 1 hour"

"i thought this is quiet time..." He frowned as he laid in bed.
