16 & Babied

[Danny]

Dan nods and helps take the twins upstairs while Justin helps keep an eye on the older ones.

Justin turns the TV away from kid shows to the game.

The kids groan

[Danny]

Dan comes back down and instantly changes the channel.

"Justin. You know I'd rather watch the game too.  But the kids priorities come first"

"I just wanted to check the score, geez. What's the big deal"

Tristan starts crying.

[Danny]

"I know. Sorry mate. Didn't fully realise that"

Looks at Tristan "Hey what's wrong?"

Justin: "Does he need changing. Are there any extra diapers down down here?"

[Danny]

Looks at you "his dad did leave his diaper bag. But he might be hungry or be missing his daddy"

"Well which is it?"

Justin gets nervous

[Danny]

Dan looks at you "you can check. I'll get the stuff ready just in case"

Looks over at the kids "any of you need to go potty?"

Maddie: "I do"

She heads to the bathroom all by herself

[Danny]

Dan looks at Maddie "let me know if you need help honey"

Dan looks at Justin, waiting for him to check Tristan

Justin: "He's wet. Don't worry. I got it"

[Danny]

Dan smiles and nods "take him to Joeys room. There's a changing table you can use" 

[bigbabymikey1062]

"There's a changing pad in the bag"

He pulls it out and starts changing the baby. All goes to plan until the baby starts to pee on him.

[Danny]

"Justin. I would always change a baby on a changing table if there is one available. And the baby can't escape if he's strapped in and you can focus on getting him clean. And that's the reason why also. Get a wipe quick!"

"Changing tables are for moms, Dan. Cool people just change the baby wherever"

He wipes Tristan and himself down.

"Can you check the other kids? We can start a brother assembly line"

[Danny]

"Yes but you have to think of privacy as well. Think of respect for other people. I certainly wouldn't change a dirty diaper where others can see it" 

Starts checking the other toddlers

[Danny]

(The twins are sleeping upstairs)

"It's ok, bro. Pee isn't the worst thing ever.

There will be plenty of time for your changing table.

Check the babies when they wake up"

[Danny]

Looks at you "you won't be saying that when you have a new born. They'll need changing up to 10 times a day. Believe me, you've not seen nothing yet. And I've changed the twins ever since they were born"

"Maybe I'll double up so I only have to change him 5 times a day. And if it's a girl she'll eventually change herself.

I'll be fine"

[Danny]

Looks at you "it doesn't work like that mate. I'm sure you'll learn these things in time"

"You sound like you know.

It's different when you have your own"

[Danny]

"Yeah but I've been around Harry and Ava so I do know believe me" 

[bigbabymikey1062]

"Well ok. Do you have anything..... normal going on?

Sports, girls, anything? I worry you might turn out funny"
