"Aw I am sure she will be no trouble. I don't mind at all. If you are sure then that's fine. When would you like me round?"

"Can you come for an hour after school tommorow? I have a meeting with a client and I can't bring the children. I'll give you 20 for your time. My husband will drop them off here at home. If that's OK with your mom"

"Yeah that's good with me. Would they need diaper changes or potty breaks. I haven't changed a diaper before but I've babysat the young boy next door to me. He's the same age I believe as your daughter" I smile

"Cody is still in diapers. We've had a few successes on the potty, but none recently. If you could encourage him to, that would be great. I think it would be better coming from another guy.

"I can try but I can't promise it will work.

"You're right. Maddie can go to the bathroom and wipe by herself.

"That's good she can use the bathroom herself. That's one less worry. Of course I'll help her if needed to"

Tom comes in with the kids.

Crouches down to Cody "well aren't you a little cutie eh. Your mommy said you are a very good boy.

Cody: "No"

he goes to join his sister in hiding.

Rita pulls the kids out from under the table.

Rita: "Be nice to Dan. I'm going to go make drinks"

[Danny]

"Doesn't seem to be working. It's okay Cody I won't hurt you little guy"

Connie walks up to Cody.

"Hi there. I have a surprise for you. And your sister, too. Can you come with me?"

Connie takes him to the table and unwraps the gift basket and gives him a cookie.

Maddie comes over to her

Maddie: "I want one too"

C:"Whats the magic word?"

M: "Please?"

C: "that's right, sweetie. Here you go"

*Connie gives you 2 cookies and gestures you over to the kids"

[Danny]

Walks over to them "we made them for you" sees their faces lighten up as they see the cookies

"Aww they loved them" I say as I cuddle my mom, motioning to her that I need a fresh nappy.

Rita comes back with the drinks.

"Thank you for the drinks. We have to get going. I left the stove on"

Cody: "No go"

[Danny]

Crouches down to him "hey what's the matter".

"Ok. I'll go turn the stove off and I'll be right back"

*I whisper to you* "Sweetie, you don't have to tell everybody. I was trying to get you out discreetly"

*I run home and get the diaper bag*

Rita stops me at the door

Rita:"You can set up a changing pad in Cody's room so you can have some privacy. It's upstairs, first door on the right. There's a diaper pail in there so you don't have to take it home with you.

"You want me to change Cody? Won't he want his mom or dad to change him.

*I take Cody back downstairs to Rita*

"He followed us upstairs. He was wet, so Dan changed him"

Rita: "Thank you. He didn't have to do that. That was so nice of him. I forgot to tell you there's a plastic latch

"Thank you ma'am. I do appreciate it i really do" I smile at her.

I feel my bowels but don't say anything and my stomach is churning.

I tug my mum's arm "mom I'm hungry"

Tom gets the kids ready and helps them wash up for dinner.
