Dan looks at Joey "okay buddy. You wanna use the potty or you want to use your diaper. There is no pressure. You'll get a special treat for using the potty though"

[Danny]

Dan nods and takes his hand and we go to the bathroom and helps him remove his lower clothing

"I done. Mama wipe"

[Danny]

Looks at you "buddy your mommy is a little busy at the moment. Are you okay if I wiped your butt instead?"

I don't know what to say

Joey waits on the toilet. He tries to wipe.

"See I do it"

[Danny]

Dan waits outside "do you need some help cleaning up? It's okay to ask for help buddy"  he was just relieved that Joey used the toilet and not his underwear.

"No I do it"

He tries but he doesn't get it entirely clean

[Danny]

I smile "you want me to check to see if you've cleaned up all okay?" I ask you

He laughs

"Ok Dan"

[Danny]

I come in and help you off your toilet and grabs some toilet paper and wipes "almost there. But still a bit more to do. Right inbetween your thingy and your bottom you missed a bit. But you're making good progress and you deserve two stickers for your potty chart"

"Yay. Then I get the ice cweam"

Joey finishes wiping and does a good job.

[Danny]

Dan looks at you and smiles "good job buddy. You get to wear training pants now"

"I wear underwears"

[Danny]

Smiles "yes buddy that's right but you can't go wee wee or poopy in your underwear. You'll have to tell me or you mama when you got to go potty. You know what will happen if you have an accident. You're a big boy aren't you. Little ones like ava use their pampers"

He starts crying

"I din't mean to go potty in my underwears. I playing with Ava and pee pee came out. I sorry"

[Danny]

Looks at you "Joey I never mentioned that. I just said that you are a big boy and you got to tell me of your mommy when you got to potty. Otherwise we'll have to take away the big boy pants" 

Picks him up and cuddles him

Angie yells from the other room: "Are you boys ok in there?"

[Danny]

I smile and hug him before hearing his moms voice "yeah everything is fine. All good Angie" I say as I get the training pants that Angie gave me for Joey "these have got the cars on from that movie you love.  You wanna put them on now you're all clean?"

Looks at you "buddy. Your mom said training pants until you can stay dry for a few days just to be sure. Can you do that?"
