"buddy you shouldn't be mean to me, I am only trying to help"

Angie: "Dan. These weren't accidents. He was going in his diaper on purpose. Put a pull up on him. If he can stay dry until the party he can have his underwear back. I'm going take the babies out for a walk to get some fresh air.

Can you take care of the boys until I get back?"

[Danny]

Nods and I get a pull up on Joey after cleaning him up.

Joey: "Can I have a snack?"

[Danny]

crouches down to him "what would you like little man?"

[bigbabymikey1062]

"Can we have some candy?"

[Danny]

"Buddy I don't think your mom would like that, how about some fruit instead"

[bigbabymikey1062]

Both boys start cheering:
"Candy! Candy! Candy!"

Mikey: "Please? My mommy doesn't let me have candy"

[Danny]

I sigh and go into the cupboard and get out a small bag of m&m's

"this is because you went pee on the potty" I say as I hand them both a piece of candy each

"Thank you Dan"

The doorbell rings

[Danny]

Smiles and ruffles their hair as I quickly put the candy back and head to the front door.

A woman is at the door.

[Danny]

"Oh I am Dan, I am watching Mikey and Joey. They've been as good as gold. You should be very proud. your son is a credit to you"

I shout to the boys "Michael, your mommy is here"

"What did you call him? We don't have time for those childish antics if Michael is going to get into an Ivy league school.

You've been watching them? What are your qualifications?"

[Danny]

"I have babysat a lot, Angela trusts me to watch the boys" I say as Angela walks back in

"Angela, who is this boy? You're probably watching him too. He's too young to be in charge of the children"

[Danny]

I don't say anything until she leaves

"Maybe I shouldn't do this anymore, she obviously thinks I am not good enough. She was extremely rude to me. How dare she ask about me, she doesn't even know me. Sorry Angie, but I need to go home, she has really wound me up"

"Dan. Don't be upset. She talks like that to everyone. I mean, who calls me Angela?...... I mean, come on. I'm proud of you. It takes a special person to be nice when someone is... less then nice to you.

[Danny]

"She shouldn't criticise me. She should stop being such a nasty uptight snob and start being nice to people. I've looked after joey for years.

"Forget about her. You can't please everyone.

[Danny]

"I'm signing up to a childcare course just so she's happy"

Nods and I head upstairs to get joey while you get the twins

"I'm sure you'll pass with flying colors"

[Danny]

"There is more to childcare than changing diapers. I'm still gagging at the bad ones"

Peter comes out and gives you a present.
"Sorry I didn't have much money, so I got you some food from the farm.
Dad is outside. He wants to see you"

[Danny]

"Hey its okay. It's nice to just have my little brother here. So, what kind of things do you like Pete?" I say as we walk together outside
