"I will use the toilet mom, I promise. I know sometimes I just can't hold it" I hug you tight "I'm sorry I am such a nightmare"

"You're not a nightmare.
Why don't we try your pull ups around the house to make it easier?"

[Danny]

I sigh and nod at your comments

"i just feel that you are ashamed of me because I am wearing diapers"

"I'm not. It has brought us closer. And it's nice to feel needed.

Why don't we go do something? Let's go pick out a gift for the baby"

[Danny]

"I can get a teddy for the baby when mommy gives birth, so its something that they'll remember. And they'll know I bought it"

"What a good idea sweetie. Let's go"

We get to the baby store. I head off in a different direction

[Danny]

I go to the baby isle and try and pick a teddy that's for either a boy or girl.

I try and find you

"mom, I need a teddy that is good for a boy or girl"

"That's great honey.

I think I'm going to pick out a going home outfit"

[Danny]

"you didn't hear what I said mom, I need help trying to find a teddy that's idea for either a baby boy or baby girl. I may as well get a boy one and a girl one"

"I'm sorry hon. I thought you said you picked it out.

[Danny]

(I inboxed you)

"that sounds kinda sweet" I smile as we head to the toys "maybe we should get a cream onesie or something for the baby to wear when he or she is bought home from hospital?"

"That's nice.

[Danny]

"green seems kinda cute, because I have some Irish roots, so maybe Irish green?"

[bigbabymikey1062]

"Ok. I never knew that. I have a little Irish in my family too.

[Danny]

"Yeah I remember my birth mom saying she has Irish roots" I see a cute teddy bear with "my first teddy on"

"this one is perfect" I smile

I also see adorable sweater.

"That's adorable. Let's pick out an outfit. Think pajama sleepers because the baby will be sleeping a lot"

[Danny]

"maybe this onesie" I say, showing it to you and it has words on the front saying " I love my big brother"

"Ok. That's precious. Let's go pay"

[Danny]

I walk alongside you as we pay for all the clothing and the teddies.
"aww you picked

"Maybe. I'd skip the newborn size. They grow so fast. Size 1's would be ok. Let's go look"

[Danny]

Looks at you

"you sure that's a good idea. I don't mind if its a boy or girl. Although boys can pee during changing can't they" I laugh.

"Girls can too. Girls can do anything boys can do. Always remember that"

[Danny]

I look at you "boys have a little sprayer though, you have to cover it up when changing. and girls seem easier to potty train" I laugh as I follow you

"How about these" I say pointing to the pack of newborn pampers.

"Ok. Good choice.

And it's true. Potty training was hard. For both of you it sounds like. 4 years old and in diapers. That must've been hard on your birth mom"
