"I don't want any water, thank you. And you're not my daddy." Travis says once again. He tried to say it with less attitude. He felt bad that he might be letting Ben eating alone but he was upset with almost everything that has everything. He was willing to deal with some of it but not the daddy part.

Handing the water over Ben said "three sips baby, I won't have you getting dehydrated because your're choosing to be stubborn" combing through Travis's hair Ben said dinner will be ready in just over an hour at which point you can come down if you are ready to be a good boy. Until then I expect you to stay in bed no tv no phone. This is a punishment not a day at the park. I hope you can make good choices by dinner time baby"

Travis sighed knowing Ben wouldn't leave him alone if his didn't take those sips. Travis took 3 sips of water and laid back down. "Of course it isn't a day at the park. We're at home." Travis says, he was a bit ditzy sometimes

Ben looked at Travis skeptically. He reached out and felt his forehead "you feeling alright baby, you don't look great" mussing the little boys hair Ben said I'm hoping to see you down stairs

Ben went back down stairs to cook he watched and waited. He put Bens phone in safe place and set the table for two hoping for some progress. At dinner time he went to the stairs and called up "Travy honey

Travis sighed and got up, even though he really didn't want too. "Mhmm." Travis nodded.

Ben waited for Travis at th bottom of the stairs when he reached the first floor Ben blocked his way tipping his chin Ben said "I'm sorry what was that baby"

Travis frowned. "Yes..." He says. Figuring his hum was a little quiet.

Ben sighed taking Travis in his arms

Travis tried not to cry but he was starting to get frustrated. He pulled away from Ben and started to head back upstairs.

Ben shook his head and went to the kitchen, he sat down, sad and frustrated. He would wait a little while longer to see what his child would do

Travis sat at the top of the stairs not wanting to go back to his room. He tried holding his tears. He wanted to have dinner but he student want to call Ben daddy

Ben made a decision he got up and began putting all of the food away, they wouldn't eat it tonight if they couldn't enjoy it together

Travis frowned when he heard him putting the food away. His mom's meatballs weren't good if they were put away overnight and he was hungry. He quickly walked downstairs. "I wanna eat daddy." He says softly

Ben was in the middle of putting things away. He put everything down. Looking up he positively beamed "what baby"

He frowned. "I wanna eat dinner daddy." He says again.

"Well technically yes." Travis says trying to lighten his own mood. His mom's meatballs still smelled fresh.

Kissing Travis's hair Ben said " my funny little boy" He took one of the plates filling it with pasta and meatball. He sat with Travis in his lap grabbing a fork he loaded it with food and brought it to his child's lips "take a bite baby"

"C-can I feed myself please?" Travis asks reaching for the fork.

Pulling the fork away Ben said in a calm voice "I know you can feed yourself baby but I want to feed you, you're my child now and you'll need to get used to me doing a lot of things for you from now on,we can talk about that latter but for now sweetheart open up the plane wants to come in for a landing" Ben made plane noise spun the fork in circles"

Travis sighed, he wasn't going to argue. He was hungry so he opened up his mouth to get the bite
