Travis sat night his seat and sipped on his sippy cup. He watched Ben drive.

They pulled up to the school Ben and found a parking spot. He got out of the car and released Travis from his car seat. He helped him pull his back pack on and took his hand leading him into the building

Travis frowned. "No..." He says. He was still worried about the test.

Ben guided the boy through the door "it's all ok baby daddy's here and everything is ok I'll be with you the whole time" they walked up to the secretary's desk "hi I'm here to enroll my little boy, I have an appointment with principal Ryan"

Travis frowned. "so do I just start it? Is there division on this test? I don't know division well..." Travis says

Travis sighed. He got start and started his test. He was so anxious and nervous.

Ben watched Travis taking is test as he chatted with the principal and filled out emergency cards and everything else. The timer went off indicating that the test was over Ben went to get Travis and brought him to sit with the grown ups " howled it go honey" Ben asked rubbing Travis's shoulder

"I don't wanna talk about the test " Travis curled him together hiding his face in his knees. It wasn't hard, he was just nervous

"Honey" Ben said and pulled Travis onto his lap, everything is just fine my baby I promise"

the principal smiled as he licked a few buttons "some the test defiantly shows some academic weaknesses and some gaps in learning. Since we have no previous records I think we should air on the side of caution and place Travis in a Lower grade I'm torn between first and second I mean he'd be a bit tall but I think he'd fit in with either group"

"No thank you." Travis says still hiding his face. Obviously not taking all of this in well. He felt bad when he heard he had academic weakness.

Ben tightened his hold "he loves paw patrol and Disney. He like action figures and race care and dress up clothes oh and he loves his dolly rubbing Travis's back Ben said what else baby boy"

"Superheroes..." Travis says softly. "And Disney princesses." He adds but still refused to look up

Principal Ryan smiled looking at Ben he said "your boy will fit in fine with our first grade they have very similar interests he will be in Miss Masons class we can bring him down right now"

"No! I don't want to!" Travis said immediately and held on to Ben

Ben rubbed his back " baby I need you to be brave for me. You will love your new teacher and all of your new friend it will be great honey I promise" he stood up placing the boy on his feet " now baby lets go see your class"

"No!" Travis whined trying to stay there. He wasn't having a good start.

Ben bent down taking Travis's face in his hands said "Angel, this isn't a choice. We are going to see your class daddy will stay with you the whole time baby, I promise I do t have to leave yet"

"I dont wanna be in first grade. I'll be the tallest and the oldest. I'll look like I'm stupid to them." Travis finally says crying

Ben looked horrified "oh honey" he took Travis in his arms hugging him close

Travis sighed and thought about it. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad to give it a try. He still was unsure though. "I guess im ready to go see the class now." He says softly

Ben pulled his boy to him once again "my good little boy" Ben then took Travis's hand and they were lead down the hallway while mr Ryan pointed out he gym and art room and music room and cafeteria they finally stopped outside a classroom. The said Miss Mason mr Ryan opened the Door "excuse me Miss Mason I have a new little boy starting today, this is Travis Smith, he's new to our school"

Travis help hug his daddy and bury his face in Ben's side. He was so nervous and scared. There were so many kids.
