[Shy-Diapers]

"Dad they're not gonna kick us out for whispering. There were adults talking louder than us." Jen said when she climbed back into her chair.

[Ishigreensa]

"Um..." he was very protective of her in public, and when she was younger, he would often make her hold it until they got home because he didn't like her going in by herself, that is, when she got too old to go in the bathroom with him.

Jen looked down at her lap. "How do I change in my chair?" She asked softly. She had only changed herself laying down before and she knew her dad

He frowned.

"You don't want me to go in with you, do you?" he asked her.

[Shy-Diapers]

Jen sighed. "Okay you can come with me." She said knowing it would be very difficult to change on her own.

[Ishigreensa]

John opened the door for her and helped her get her chair in.

Then he turned and locked the door before taking her over where the toilet was.

"Are you wet, then?" he whispered to her.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Yeah I wet during the movie." Jen said blushing. "I knew I wouldn't be able to make it and I'm not supposed to hold it and I didn't want to miss the movie." She said turning her head away. She was clearly very embarrassed.

[Ishigreensa]

"It's okay," he said.

"Now, I know this embarrasses you, so here is what we are going to do...."

He helped her up and checked her pants and chair to make sure it wasn't wet.

Jen grabbed the rails, but her legs gave out, tired from the walking they did. She ended up squatting, trying to pull herself back up to no avail.

John ran quickly to her side and helped her up.

Jen didn't care that her dad had changed her.

[Ishigreensa]

He smiled at her.

"Honest, honey?

[Shy-Diapers]

Jen woke up and quickly closed her eyes again, bothered by the bright hospital lights.

[Ishigreensa]

"Honey, there was a traffic accident in the parking lot just as I got you settled.

[Shy-Diapers]

Jen looked at her dad and squeezed his hand. She was in shock right now. She didn't know what to think.

[Ishigreensa]

"Honey, I don't know."

He pressed her call button to get a doctor to come and help her.

They had not told him that the nerve damage would make her unable to move her legs.

Jen's face fell. She turned her head away as tears rolled down her small face.

[Ishigreensa]

He nodded and pulled the blankets off of her to start changing her.

"Wow, baby, you're pretty wet."

He pulled out her soaked diaper and rolled it up.

Then he started to clean her up just as the nurse came back to check on her.

"Sorry she said when she saw him changing her.

Jen covered her face in embarrassment when the nurse came in.

"Would you like your drawing stuff?" he guessed first.

[Shy-Diapers]

Jen nodded. "My charcoal stuff is too hard to transport without breaking anyway. Just the big tin of pencils and the smaller one of non colored ones."

She blushed a little. "Could you bring Sarah?" She asked shyly. Sarah was a stuffed penguin her parents got her when she was a baby. She usually didn't keep it out in the open but she needed it when she slept or was upset.

(I wasn't saying it to you directly. I was stating that hospital's policy. They vary a lot here.)

Jen blushed and looked down while they discussed her diapers.

John fell silent and looked at the nurse to see if sweat pants were allowed.

When he found out, he smiled back at his daughter.

"Anything the hospital says is okay, I'll bring for you, okay?

[Shy-Diapers]

"Daddy no!" Jen said about to cry again. "You can't leave me here." She said feeling petrified.
