"Tom, she's not three years old.

"Want pants now." Avishag said softly. Suddenly she felt self conscious of her diaper. She frowned and tried to cover it with her shirt.

Ralph nodded and took her up to her room.

"How about we put some panties on you, honey?

Avishag frowned but nodded. She felt unsure of herself without the diaper. At this point it was kind of a security blanket. She felt that it'd be better to be in a diaper that's wet than wet panties and pants. At least if she was wearing a diaper nobody would know she was wet.

Ralph pulled out a pair of panties for her, and he put them on her after taking off her diaper.

Avishag nodded. She felt weird wearing her pajama shirt and skirt, but mostly the fact that she was wearing panties again. She felt nervous and unsure of herself.

"Do you want to go downstairs and find your putty?" Ralph asked her as he saw how much she was playing with her hands.

Avishag shrugged. What she really wanted was the security she had gotten used to of wearing a diaper. To her the diaper basically was panties just they hid any accidents she had.

Ralph smiled and picked her up and after putting some pants on her, he brought her down to find her putty.

Once he found her putty, he put her at the table where he could watch her while he made some breakfast for her.

Avishag fidgeted in her chair. It almost looked like a potty dance. She was just very anxious and unsure of herself.

John frowned when it looked like she had to go potty but wasn't coming to get him.

Avishag shook her head. She didn't feel like herself. She felt very out of sorts. She had gotten accustomed to the routine at her uncle's and the slight disruption was reeking havoc on her already traumatized and scared mind.

Ralph picked her up and put her in his lap.

"Honey, what's wrong?" he whispered to her.

Avishag didn't know how to express how she felt. With her limited vocabulary and young mind she didn't have the words to.

Ralph smiled and nodded.

"Honey, it's going to take a long time before everything becomes normal for you.

Avishag shook her head. She was so frustrated that she didn't know how to explain her feelings.

Ralph didn't know what to make of her primal yell other than that she was frustrated.

Avishag nodded quickly. She was embarrassed that she didn't want to wear panties, but the underwear diaper was what she was used to, and it had become like a safety net or security blanket for her.

Ralph smiled and nodded.

"Sometimes, it's hard for adults to explain feelings, too," he told her with a hand on her head.

Avishag gave her uncle a smile and hugged his legs when he changed her. She shook her head st the pants if he tried to put them back on though.

"Sorry for what?" Ralph asked her with a small smile.

Avishag nodded. Her uncle's tone helped ease her nerves. She let her uncle carry her downstairs.

Ralph smiled at her and held the doll.

"What do you want me to do with his, honey?"

He knew she wanted to play, but he wasn't sure how she wanted him to do it.

Avishag looked down st her feet. It felt like she was being a pain. Her uncle didn't know what to do with her but was trying to act nice.

Ralph pulled her into his lap, and he whispered to her.

"How about we comb her hair?" he asked her.
