Avishag slept soundly through the night. She soaked herself quite a bit, but not to the point of leaking.

Of course, Ralph didn't wake her when he got up at five.

Avishag frowned and sniffled not seeing her uncle. She equipped herself with her doll and cherished sheep and went downstairs as fast as she could, falling down the last step as she did, landing right on her face.

Ralph turned and saw her when he heard the noise.

He got up and ran over to her expecting she would have been asleep at least another hour!

"AVI!" he called to her and came and grabbed her up.

Avishag sniffled and held her toys close to her chest. She was more shaken up than she was hurt. With the washcloth, Ralph would see it was just a small nosebleed. She was fine physically.

He picked her up again and hugged her close taking her to the living room.

"You want to watch cartoons?" he asked her putting her in his lap.

Avishag looked around. She didn't realize today was Saturday. She thought she had to go to school.

Ralph smiled at her.

"What is it?" he asked her when he noticed she was looking at him curiously.

Avishag looked around. She pointed to her school bag, unsure of why Ralph wasn't dressing her. She was very confused right now.

[Ishigreensa]

He looked over at her bag.

"Honey, I don't think you have any homework," he said unsure of what she was trying to say.

Avishag shook her head. She pointed to her bag and lunch box, trying to get her point across. She pointed out the window at the car, hoping he'd understand her.

[Ishigreensa]

"Oh, do you mean it's time for school?" he asked with a chuckle.

[Shy-Diapers]

Avishag blushed. "No school Saturday!" She said firmly. In Jewish culture, saturdays were the equivalent to sundays for Christians

"We go to church on Sundays," he told her.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Momma and Poppa take me around noon." Avishag said softly. "But I can't be with you." She looked down st her lap with a sigh. At orthodox synogauges (the terms are interchangeable) men and women were separated unless the boy was under thirteen he'd be with the men.

Ralph frowned.

"Do you think we can just have a Priest or whatever you call them come by and talk to you for today instead?" he asked her.

Avishag looked down. "Can we talk to Rabbi Johnson? I don think she'll come here." She looked down at her lap and put her thumb in her mouth.

[Ishigreensa]

"I'll see if I can find his number, honey.

[Shy-Diapers]

Avishag shook her head with her thumb still in her mouth. "But I know the temple name." She said softly. "First Temple of Judaism." She said crawling into her uncle's lap.

"Rabbi Johnson not a boy." She said thinking her uncle was silly for assuming that.

He smiled.

He had heard some places had women priests, but those churches were still pretty rare.

"Well, then I'll call that Temple and see how close it is and if Rabbi Johnson can come or not."

He found a number and called.

The temple was sadly a little out of their district, so the Rabbi said she would meet with them, but that they had to come to her because she couldn't be late for her meeting.

He promised to come as soon as he could, and then he picked up the child after hanging up the phone and rushed to get some clothes on her.

He stopped by Tom's room.

"I'm taking her to her church for the day.

Avishag grabbed her doll's dress and her sheep before getting put in the car.

"Actually, I'm not Jewish," he said.

The woman nodded solemly and rubbed Avishag's back. "I was wondering why her parents hadn't stopped by. Nobody informed me of their passings." She shook her head.

"No, she's just barely started talking to me again.

"Yes. We are religious leaders thought technically if law enforcement came to me about you I would have to tell them what I know since I'm not
