He smiled showing her chicken, potatoes, and peas.

Avishag smiled and dug into her plate. She was starving! Everything tasted soooo good! Things always seemed better after you went without it. She was happily shoving food in her face.

Tom frowned when he saw her plate had no macaroni on it.

"Don't you want macaroni?" he asked her.

Ralph shook his head.

"She can't have cheese or milk with meat.

Avishag agreed with her uncle and nodded. She drank the juice she had with her dinner and looked st her uncle. She suddenly realized she had to use the bathroom.

Ralph smiled and nodded at her dinner.

"Are you finished?" he asked her.

Normally, he liked the kids to finish eating before he let them get up from the table because he was afraid of spreading germs from other places to their mouths when they ate.

Avishag felt bad. She looked down and nodded. She didn't know she had to go before dinner or else she would have!

Ralph shook his head.

"It's okay, baby," he noticed she had already leaked on herself.

Avishag hung her head in shame. She felt bad for the continuous accidents. She rubbed her eyes to keep the tears from sliding down her small face.

Ralph grabbed her hands and he held them to keep her from biting at her thumb.

"Honey, please don't be upset.

Avishag didn't know why her uncle was making her wash her hands again. She had already washed them with his help. She hung her head and didn't reply to him. She felt bad for having an accident and it was humiliating to think that he wanted her to wait until she finished eating to use the bathroom if she was going to have an accident.

Ralph sighed when she went to the corner, and he put a hand on her head.

"Honey, no," he said.

Avishag shook her head. She didn't really feel like eating anymore now that she'd leaked in the day time before she got to the potty.

Ralph sighed and watched her go to the sofa.

Avishag whimpered and shook her head. She wasn't going to throw up or have the runs again, but her tummy really hurt from eating so much so fast.

Tom tentatively put a hand on her tummy waiting to give her a chance to push his hand away.

Avishag jumped a little when the hand was placed on her stomach. She was a little startled, but she didn't push the hand away. She relaxed eventually and closed her eyes a little, Tom's rubbing soothing her somewhat.

Tom smiled and started to think she was sleeping.

Avishag fell asleep at some point, and her thumb wandered into her mouth. She looked peaceful and calm for once. She looked like a normal little girl. She had her sheep and new doll in her arms still though not as tightly.

Tom smiled and continued to pat her back while he watched television.

This was much much better than the last two days where he felt left out because she didn't want anything to do with him at all, or so it seemed.

He reached down and kissed the top of her head.

Avishag didn't wake up. She didn't even stir if she was carried upstairs to her new room. She did start to wet around midnight, soaking her diaper underwear as usual. She slept peacefully, forgetting about the whole school situation of tomorrow.

Eventually, Tom did bring her up to her room to sleep.

Once he made sure her doll was on the bed next to her and her sheep was snuggled in her arms, and she was covered up, she left her to sleep.

Then he went off to bed himself.

A while later, Ralph came in and checked on her.

He sighed and after feeling she was wet, he changed her and then let her sleep.

The next morning, Ralph got up very early and started breakfast.

Avishag woke up around the time Tom's bus would be there. She was slightly wet but not soaked since she had been changed in the night.

Tom was already on the bus, and Ralph smiled at her.

"Good morning, baby.

Avishag's face fell. She had forgotten all about school. She swallowed hard and nodded though. She wanted to cry and kick in on the inside but she didn't.

Ralph picked her up and started to carry her upstairs.

"What do you want to wear for underwear to school?" he asked her.
