Avishag was comforted by Ralph's soothing words. She wanted to trust Tom, but it was hard considering she barely knew him for 48 hours. She let out a small sigh. She let her uncle undress her and set her in the tub.

He got her undressed and the wet pull up off of her and then helped her into the bath.

"You are a good girl," Ralph told her.

Avishag stared down st her lap. She sighed a little. She would try to let Tom in. Even if it was only to please her uncle at the moment. She gently ran her hands across the top of the soapy water. She figured Tom couldn't be too bad. She'd try and get to know him but it would take time until she thought of him as family though.

She nodded a little. So long as he didn't try and touch her or point out her accidents she figured he could be okay.

Ralph nodded and smiled to her.

"Good girl."

He continued to clean her up.

Once he had her clean, he took her from the bath and wrapped her in a towel.

"Let's get some clean clothes on, now, okay?"

Avishag nodded. She hoped he would put her in some pajamas she got at the store, but didn't know how to express that to him.

As it was still getting close to bedtime anyway, Ralph decided to put her in pajamas, and he was glad to see her smile.

Avishag grabbed her sheep and doll from the couch when she was brought downstairs. Afterwards, she shyly approached her cousin. She waved at him shyly, trying to make friends like her uncle told her. She forced a small smile trying to be friendly.

Tom smiled back at her and patted the seat next to him.

"This doesn't mean I get to touch you, yet, right?

Avishag climbed up onto the couch next to her cousin. She shrugged st the TV. Not having cable at home meant she never watched TV and when she did it was a very special occasion where they watched a movie.

Tom didn't know any of that, and just assumed she was a girl, so would like to watch My Little Pony.

He smiled at her when she climbed on the sofa.

"I'm not going to talk about what happened earlier ever," he told her.

Avishag kind of liked the show that was on. She wasn't used to it but it seemed interesting enough.

Tom smiled when she climbed down with her doll.

He picked up her sheep.

"He-e-y," he said like a sheep.

Avishag reached for her sheep. She was afraid her cousin was trying to take it. She whimpered a little and tried to get it back. She had to be careful though, considering it was old and could easily rip.

Tom frowned and handed her back the sheep.

"I'm sorry.

[Shy-Diapers]

Avishag looked down. She felt bad. She was just so paranoid right now. She didn't know what to do, so she sighed and set her toys down. She stood up and walked over to the corner and stood facing the wall. She figured she'd be in trouble for making her cousin upset, so she just punished herself like her parents would whenever she misbehaved, though that was rare.

Tom walked over and put a hand on her back.

"What are you doing, Avi?" he asked her

Avishag jumped and flinched a little when Tom put a hand on her back. She was startled.

[Ishigreensa]

Tom went and talked to Ralph about what had happened because he figured somehow, Avi would let her being upset show, and he wanted his dad to know exactly what happened even to the point the girl put herself in the corner.

Ralph sighed.

"Don't bring up her wetting her pants all the time," he told him.

Avishag was squeezing her sheep close to her chest when Tom came back. She had the doll as well, though not a tight grip like her stuffed toy.

Tom watched the cartoon he had left it on, waiting to give his cousin some time to think about things.

Avishag still felt like her cousin was mad or upset with her. She didn't even watch the show anymore. She seemed to space out after s while. She was staring off into space, not paying attention to anyone around her. She was still waiting for dinner since she didn't get lunch.

Tom eventually noticed she was spacing out, and he sat down next to her again.

"Avi?

[Shy-Diapers]

Avishag stayed in la la land for a while. After a few minutes she realized Tom had said something.

"Honey?" Tom waited for her.

"Dinner," Ralph called interrupting them again.

Tom sighed and let her go off to go eat.

Avishag thought she misheard since her cousin didn't ask her anything.
