Avishag stayed close to her uncle the whole time he carried her.

Ralph just kept her in his lap and held on to her patting her back.

Eventually the food was served, and Ralph pulled her back for a minute.

"You can sit here in my lap either way, but do you want to eat or do you want me to feed you this time?" he asked her.

Avishag nodded. She didn't feel up to feeding herself right now. At this point she didn't even care if Tom said something about her recent behavior.

Tom frowned when he saw she wanted to be fed.

"Avi?

[Shy-Diapers]

Avishag nodded and gave her cousin a small greatful smile.

[Ishigreensa]

"There's nothing to be sorry about, honey.

[Shy-Diapers]

Avishag was starting to feel better until her cousin brought up her underwear.

Tom sighed.

"Why was she so sensitive?"

Ralph shook his head and got up to go follow her into the living room.

"Honey?" he called out to her.

Avishag had buried herself under a pile of pillows. She peeked her head out when she heard her uncle's voice. She looked up at him as the tears ran down her pale face.

"Baby?

[Shy-Diapers]

Avishag nodded. Everything was so stressful for her. She hid in her uncle's chest and the pillows wanting to hide from the world. She wanted to be invisible so nobody could make her cry again.

He let her stay there for as long as she needed, and he rocked her lightly.

Tom came a little later, and he put a tentative hand on a pillow that was over her.

"I'm sorry I made you cry," he said sadly.

Avishag looked up at her uncle when Tom left. She looked at the stairs afterwards and just kepr looking back and forth, unsure what she was supposed to do.

"What is it, honey?" her Uncle asked her.

[Shy-Diapers]

Avishag nodded and leaned back into her uncle. Her stomach growled, feeling extremely hungry still. She had only gotten a few bites of food.

When Ralph heard her stomach growl, he had already had the idea of taking her to go finish her food, and when she pointed at the kitchen, he was relieved that it seemed she wanted to eat.

He took her to the table and then started to feed her again.

Avishag finished her food being fed by her uncle and smiled a little. She reached for her drink to wash it all down. She shakily held the cup in both her hands, but accidentally dropping it, causing whatever was in it to fall to the floor after spilling on the both of them.

Ralph smile at her, reached down to pick up the cup and he refilled it with the milk at the table and then he started to hold it up for her to drink.

"You're just so nervous, honey," he said patting her back.

Avishag shakily gripped onto the cup with her uncle holding it, and finished the milk slowly. When she was done, she yawned. She was exhausted and needed a nap. She would also need some new pajamas.

Ralph picked her up when she was done, and he took her up to her room to get her changed into some pajamas.

"Here, we are, honey," he said.

Avishag nodded. She grabbed her doll and the doll's pajamas before returning to her uncle.

He sighed and he looked at her.

"This is going to be hard for you to understand," he told her.

[Shy-Diapers]

Avishag nodded a little.

[Ishigreensa]

He looked through her book to see if he could find the holiday for presents.

"Well, I'm not going to get into the whole thing about the Jesus story with you, honey, because that will only make things hard between us.

[Shy-Diapers]

"That one!" Avishag said smiling. She pointed to the book when he came upon Hanukkah. She beamed and paused dressing her doll.
