Sarah smiled and shook her head. "I say we send them to bed unless they're hungry." She said, figuring

"Ahuva, are you hungry?" Peter asked. "Do you want something to eat?"

Ahuva had zoned out somewhat. Everything happened so quickly it seemed like, and it did make her spin a little bit. She didn't even acknowledge that Peter was there.

"Daddy, I'm hungry," Addie whined as she leaned up against Peter and held her arms up.

"Addie, stop it. Go downstairs and mommy will get you something." He gave the girl a light shove towards the door and approached Ahuva. He tapped her shoulder and squatted in front of her. "Ahuva, do you want to eat?" he repeated.

Addie frowned. Her father me Dr treated her like that. She found Sarah and once again held her arms up to be picked up. "Mama, I'm hungry. I wanna eat."

Shiva shook her head, snapping out of it. She nodded, being hungry after not eating since a quick breakfast at the hotel. She got off the bed and went towards the stairs with a yawn.

"Um, scrambled eggs?" Addie asked hopefully. "You know, how you do them with the ham and peppers and all that?"

Peter followed Ahuva to the stairs and held his arms out. "You want me to carry you?" he asked. He was nervous about her going up and down the stairs by herself, especially since she was tired.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Okay honey. Let me check if we have peppers." Sarah said. She checked the fridge and frowned. "Sorry baby. We'll buy peppers at the store when we go."

Ahuva shook her head. She slowly and carefully made her way down the stairs. She was very independent at this point in her life and didn't trust Peter all that much honestly.

Peter shrugged and went ahead of Ahuva, figuring that at least if she did fall she would hit him and not tumble all the way down.

"How about an egg ham and cheese sandwich?" Anna said picking her daughter back up.

"Yeah, that's okay," Addie agreed.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Since there's no peppers, I'm making egg cheese and ham sandwiches." Sarah said putting her biological daughter down on the floor. "Mommy has to cook why don't you see if you can play with your new sister."

(confession...I'm having a hard time getting into this one. I'm trying.)

"Oh, that sounds good. You need any help?" Peter offered.

"Hey, you wanna go watch a movie?" Addie asked Ahuva.

(That's okay. Maybe you wanna restart it but without the language barrier? That might make things a bit easier to play and more fun.)

Ahuva hadn't been paying attention to Addie so she didn't hear what she had said. She just didn't acknowledge the girl it seemed.

"Okay, let's do that tomorrow."

Addie scowled at Ahuva. "I said

"Good idea." Sarah said flipping the eggs over.

"Never mind. I'm going to put a movie on," Addie growled with an exasperated sigh. She stomped off to the living room, angry that this new girl was ignoring her, and put on Brave.

Ahuva frowned. She messed up again. She got in trouble a lot for not following directions or ignoring people, even though she wasn't intentionally doing it and she couldn't help it.

Addie paused her movie and went to the table, intentionally taking the seat next to Sarah's so she wouldn't have to sit next to Ahuva.

Peter out a hand on Ahuva's shoulder. "It's okay, honey. She's just a little cranky. Come sit down and eat."

"What's wrong baby? Why don't you want to sit next to your sister?" Sarah asked.
